Sausage, Egg, & Cheese (Hefty sandwich)

I had a sausage, egg and cheese bagel breakfast sandwich to go. The sandwich was very hefty and a great portion. Flavor was good as well. I did have ketchup on the side and wish they gave a little bit more packets. All in all, a great breakfast sandwich option!

    A deceptively delicious breakfast sandwich.

I give 5 stars to J Pace & Son for food, service and affordable prices! I had pancakes and bacon with coffee for breakfast, my wife had a wonderful bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. The pancakes were surprisingly good; fluffy and flavorful. The bacon was more than enough. The coffee was hot, hot, hot! You have a choice of House Blend and Dark Roast. I chose the House Blend and it disappeared as fast as my pancakes and bacon. Before I flew back home I returned and ordered a grilled pastrami sandwich with grilled onions, mustard and provolone cheese. I enjoyed half of it on the plane and my wife loved her half. Definitely love the busyness and amount of things to eat and drink here at quite possibly the most reasonable prices in the Seaport area.

Affordable grub next to a great venue. I just went to a concert at Leader Bank Pavilion and didn't want to break the bank. We did not see this show up on Yelp, but it caught our eye as it was right across from the venue. They had a great variety of food and drinks for a local market and a deli. We grabbed the 21 and 32 on the specialty sandwiches list, and they were pretty good! Our favorite was the J.Pace Italian. While it might sound like a lot, the flavors complemented each other well, and the long hots were sooo good. Putting half a charcuterie board in a cold sub is the way to go. They have a lot of seating and a nice view near the window. If you have a hotel nearby, this would be the place to get alcohol too. They have a good selection for a little place and are way cheaper if you end up going to the concert venue. We compared prices, and it was around $20 cheaper to get a tall Downeast Cider here! Be wary of time, as if you're like us, your concert is later than closing time. The staff were polite, and you can take your sub to the park nearby. It is a beautiful area to eat outside and share some subs. If we're not dressed up, this will be our stop in the area!

Service: friendly and helpful. We ate around 10am and they were able to make their sandwiches for breakfast. We asked for their cold sandwiches to be toasted. They said no problem, we want to make you happy! Food: we ordered the badabing (two chicken cutlets, eggplant, roasted red peppers, jalapeño cheese, lettuce and tomato with 1000k dressing. This sandwich was huge! $14 and it made two meals. Hubby had the chicken Italian. Two chicken cutlets, prosciutto, roasted red peppers. Delicious! The freshly made brownies and cookies looked divine, but we were stuffed. Cleanliness: this is an Italian deli and store. There is plenty of seating and it is very clean.

Picked up a couple sandos to take with me on my flight home. The YOLO for my husband and the Italian with prosciutto. I ate half of mine right away and it was the perfect size for a lunch before hopping on a six hour flight. Both traveled really well and were delicious when we ate them more than 7 hours later. I ordered online and they were ready earlier than the time I expected so when I arrived early, I was pleasantly surprised to not have to wait! Definitely will return when we come back to Boston.

Sammies aka sandwhiches, deli sandwich, sub, deli meat cold cut.....whatever you want to call your lunch meat sandwich. drinks and more! This place will serve you up and is a corner grocery store. Easy walk from the convention center and this place will NOT disappoint. This appears to be a local spot and serves up the good good from open to close. They have two counters, one can get cold or hot sandwiches, the menu has a variety of great combo and fav they other side you get hot entrees...pizza, shells you name it. We tried the J Pace with prosciutto on sesame bun. This thing was big enough to share but can easily be devoured by one person. There is a deli sauce on this sandwich that is fire "not meaning hot or spicy meaning good" that makes the sandwich complete. I didn't get a picture of the updated menu...the avg price is about $12.

Wow, just wow. J Pace is a must try sandwich spot in Seaport. This is hands down one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Delicious, fresh, and definitely getting your money worth. The guy behind the deli was super friendly and was super helpful. The store also has everything you could need from snacks to beer/wine to hot food too. If you're in the area definitely stop by!

I seriously thought I had already written a review about this place after my first experience about a year ago! And although the owner can come across a little gruff, I think it's just the Bostonian in him LOL. The first time I visited J Pace & Son I ordered French toast, which came with more bacon than I could finish. The French toast was so delicious and it stayed hot on my walk back to my hotel. On my second visit, I arrived about 10 minutes after breakfast () which made me super sad, but there was a lot of food to choose from! They have pizzas, steak sandwiches, chicken tenders, and a lot of cold sandwiches. I ended up going with the 601 Congress, which seems to be well reviewed by everyone. This sandwich consisted of fried chicken cutlets, buffalo sauce, red onions, and lettuce. They also threw some sort of cheese on there, but I didn't really check. Let me tell you that this sandwich was amazing! I also read that they make the bread in-house, and you can definitely tell (it stayed soft for hours even though I ate 1/2 right when I got it and another half about six hours later). The price came up to about $13 for just a sandwich alone, and I'll definitely be back to try others.

Gunna start off by saying if you haven't been here, you're screwing up. Great service, great staff, plenty of offerings for anyone's taste, nice seating area, and everything is always fresh. I've had the pleasure of delivering to their Saugus location with my previous employer, so I am familiar with what they offer but I have never personally eaten here. Until today. I'm now working around the corner from the Seaport location, in South Boston, and I was late for work today and stopped in here for breakfast. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a Jalapeño cheddar bagel and it was fantastic. So good that I ate every other meal here for the day. For lunch I got the Caprese sub, again, delicious, and fresh, not much to screw up on a caprese sandwich, with salt and pepper. Epic. Stopped in before heading home and picked up some cheese ravioli with vodka sauce and a few drinks from the wide variety they offer. I love that they sell Dr. Browns sodas. This is easily going to be my go to spot, I think you should check it out. You won't be disappointed.

    Seaport Sandwich
    Rich A.

Located in the Seaport District, J Pace and Son provides customers with a deli offering huge and freshly-made grinders (known as hero sandwiches or subs for those of you outside Red Sox Nation) and a small, but well-curated grocery store offering a variety of ready-to-eat and pre-packaged food and beverages and a handful of those things you forgot to bring to your friends' or coworkers' birthday party like salty snacks and greeting cards. While the prices may be higher than your typical suburban sandwich chains - with most sandwiches ranging from $9 to $12 - the quality and the portion sizes far exceed those establishments. I opted for the Seaport sandwich ($10), comprised of two enormous filets of freshly breaded and fried haddock, tartar sauce, cole slaw, cucumber, and leafy romaine lettuce. Yum. Will definitely be back next time I am in the area. Pro Tip: On-street parking is available, but may be difficult to find, so pahk you cahr at Havahd Yahd and take the T - Silver Line to J Pace.

Looks very authentic inside like a restaurant / deli you might find in Firenze. I decided to order the Italian Sub as they make it; no changes. In hindsight, I should've changed a few things I kind of knew I wouldn't like, but wanted to roll with their take on the classic sub. The bread was very fresh and the meats abundant and plentiful! My first introduction…read moreended up being at a corporate event in Boston's Seaport district, where lunch arrived courtesy of one of the city's best-known sandwich shops. The catering was impressive. Before anyone even took a bite. Every half sandwich was individually wrapped and clearly labeled, with salads and sides neatly organized, making it easy for a large group to grab lunch without the usual catering chaos. The choices were wide and varied. We took our lunches upstairs to a rooftop seating area overlooking the Seaport, which made for a pretty great setting on a beautiful afternoon. I chose the Gobbler, and it lived up to the hype I've since read in other reviews. At first glance it sounds like a Thanksgiving leftover sandwich, but it's much more than that. The turkey was fresh and flavorful, and it was complemented by stuffing, cranberry sauce, spinach, pepper jack cheese, and just enough chipotle mayo to add an unexpected kick, without overwhelming everything else. It's one of those combinations that sounds busy on paper but comes together remarkably well. I spoke with several others over lunch, and they were equally impressed with their choices. That's always a good sign when you're feeding a crowd. It's one thing to make a great sandwich to order; it's another to deliver dozens of them catered while maintaining that level of quality. Since this was catered, I can't really comment on the restaurant itself. The service on the catering side, however, was evident in how thoughtfully everything was prepared and packaged, and the rooftop setting where we enjoyed lunch certainly didn't hurt. Needless to say, this won't be my last Sam LaGrassa's sandwich. I fully intend to visit the restaurant one of these days, and in the meantime I'll spend some time trying to recreate that Gobbler at home (maybe with sliced roasted chicken, but also with turkey when I have it). It was that good.

I would give the burrito 4 out of 5 stars because of the way it was wrapped - about a third of the burrito was just egg and cheese and the toppings (avocado, red onion, hash browns, salsa verde, crema) were crammed on the other side of the burrito. If there was a way for the burrito to be wrapped so all the ingredients were more evenly distributed - this would easily be a 5/5 breakfast burrito. One random detail that stuck out to me was that their drinks in their refrigerator were very cold - no lukewarm sodas here! I would come back here to try their signature "Fancy" sandwich. Overall, this is a very solid breakfast spot in Boston!

Upon Entering there was already a line two people before me. 1 waiting for food and the other waiting to order. The workers were busy making subs. and it took about 5 min before the 1st guy got his food, the 2nd guy ended up leaving ordering nothing. After he got his food I waited another 11 minutes just standing there, every so often an employee would look at me and one finally said they would be right with me. over 10 minutes is too long. I thought maybe they have a lot of online orders? Another person came in after me and during my wait period to order he ended up leaving as well after 7 minutes. I used to actually own a sub shop in Plymouth a few decades ago that got very busy. If there is a long line of people coming in, take the order right away so they can just wait for the food. people dont tend to wait so long as I did and you lose money. This will keep them there. One issue I had was one of the workers a female was sweating profusely while making the food. dripping from her forehead down her nose and hitting the table. Her shirt had sweat all on it. I got a different employee that made my food thankfully , but I keep thinking about this and dont want to go back, this is a food safety issue. Its disgusting to be honest. This was my first time going there and I am a local. I think the sub variety looks good on the board but it took way to long to get the food. after ordering it was another 10 minutes. so altogether around 27 or so minutes. Becketts right around the corner very fresh subs and only takes less than 5 to order and get the food out, they are also busy all the time but much more efficient and friendly. I wanted to like this place and am sure many do but its just not for me and I also dont want sweat in my food.
