Not necessarily near where I live. But definitely worth the 35-40 minute drive to have chipped keys and remote pads for cars to be replaced or purchase additional ones. I've been coming to Floods for roughly 30 years. The people that manage and work here are knowledgeable in every way when it comes to keys, remote pads, and batteries. If I could leave a zero star I absolutely would because the experience I had deserves it. One of their servicemen, bald and heavyset, thought it was appropriate to speak to a paying customer disrespectfully and then when told that his behavior was inappropriate he told myself and my husband "if we don't like his attitude we can get the *expletive* out." Easiest experience I've had. Went in and explained that I needed a 2nd key fob for my car. A very nice woman told me what I needed to do. I waited outside in my car for a few minutes awaiting a spot to open up. Once it did, I pulled up and headed back in to the shop. this business has been around for decades and yes, their prices are very low, but what I don't understand is either there been business too long and they're all tired, but I don't care if they give the stuff for nothing. STAY AWAY ran by a extremely unpleasant woman with a terrible attitude came in for a simple key noticed she was going to cut a key that was not all metal when I nicely said I would like the all metal key because I'm afraid the plastic will break when I'm at work she said that she has already started cutting the key but she did not it was only clamped in the machine, which takes two seconds of her time instead of taking it out and giving me the key that I asked for she said I already started it and then proceeded to cut it once she had it all cut she forced me to buy it what a terrible way to treat people and liars she obviously can't handle the weekend rush her attitude towards the customers reflects that read more

My father needed help with something but doesn't speak english very well so he called me before hand so I can translate what he needed to the woman working there. Right when I was going to tell her what my father needed, she immediately cut me off saying that she's not going to service him with me translating for him on the phone. Arrived Saturday about 845 AM, I got in line #2 the Mart opened at 9 the guys were ready to go, explained I wanted 2 key fobs, went thru the year and make, the guy grabbed the fobs, went outside and did his job, took all of 10 minutes. Price was RIGHT. I would recommend to anyone. nobody was rude or ignorant, however I will say a young guy came in, seems he was from the place across the mart, well he f-dup a key job and wanted them to fix it, we they said they would rather not. While changing the battery in my keyless entry for a Subaru, a tiny spring dropped and disappeared. My car key would not stay locked in the remote and fell out continuously. Went to the dealership service dept. $600 to order a new remote and $140 to program it. Nope. I was told about Flood by manager when i then went to T-Mobile to update a new phone. Brought disassembled remote to their shop. Opens a drawer, sorts through some remotes. pulls out a spring, cuts it to size, puts my remote together. Key stays intact. How much I ask. He thinks and says $5. Versus $740, my question is, Why? especially when all the dealer "service?" had to do was look for an old spring. read more

I have severe social anxiety and don't usually go places alone, but I lost my car keys and was really in a bind.
