The BEST Korean friend chicken I've had since moving to the OC! The chicken was crispy and so flavorful!! Ordered 3 flavors: spicy, sweet chili, soy garlic. Soy garlic was my favorite, it's an absolute must order, packed with flavor. They also have an AYCE pricing available as an option. Went on a Friday night around 9pm and thankfully it wasn't crazy busy at the time I went. Bulgogi tacos were really good, soft and moist! The soju paired so well with the chicken, zero sugar and very refreshing. Going to go searching for the soju in store now because I've never had this brand before & really loved it. We came expecting an all-you-can-eat chicken wing experience, but they no longer have that in the restaurant. So expect the regular menu. There is a small lot out front for parking, and I suspect you can park on the street when the lot fills up. We happened to come by during the Korea vs. Mexico game, and understandably, the place gets packed, with a line forming outside. We somehow beat the rush by about 30 minutes and were seated at a table as soon as we entered. We also realized then that they didn't have the all-you-can-eat option, so we ended up ordering the chicken wings, their version of loaded fries, and steamed rice. We also placed the order via the QR code. We had our drinks delivered to our table shortly afterward. The food, however, was taking a long time to get to our table. It may have been a combination of the FIFA World Cup and a staff shortage, but when we were there, there was only 1 kitchen staff member and 1 wait staff member. The lady on the wait staff did everything from serving food to accepting new customers and topping off water for all the tables. A wall separates the restaurant; there is a front room and an inside room, and both rooms had televisions broadcasting the game. The food itself was decent for the price that they charge. The chicken wings came out piping hot, crispy on the outside, and juicy inside. They have some options for different wing flavors. The fries were also delicious and well-fried. I hope the restaurant invests in more wait staff because there were times we needed something from the wait staff. Seeing how busy she was, or sometimes she's just in the front room, we haven't seen her in a while to get whatever we needed. Overall, it was a good experience. The food was good, and the atmosphere is very unique; it's definitely a nice place to get some Korean street food when you're in the area. The only things to note are that parking is limited, food will take a while to cook as it is made fresh, and there will be some waiting to be done if you need wait staff. This is one of my absolute favorite places to go to after a long day at Disneyland. The food here always hits. The katsu? Amazing, the ramen? Must try. I promise you that you won't be disappointed. I kept getting social media ads notifying that J's was now serving all you can eat chicken wings for $29.99 per adult. Your whole party needs to get this deal in order to sit in the same table. Now this is quite worth it if you can at least eat 20-22 wings to break even. For the first round, you can get an order of J's Super Fries per person in your party. Now, we didn't expect to get a full portion of it, so my party mistakenly ordered one per person. I would not recommend doing that if your focus is on eating as many delicious chicken wings to your heart's desire. Perhaps one order for every 3-4 people is probably best, but it's all up to you. I think they only allow you to order it the first round. You have up to 4 flavors to choose from, and each person can order up to 10 wings at a time. My favorite is their soy garlic with their regular chicken wings coming in as a close second. Their wings were a decent size, and not tiny at all! You could tell they were fried fresh! Personally, I would come back again for the AYCE wings because I can eat that many wings to get my money's worth. But if you have a smaller appetite, it's better to order a la carte. read more

The host/waitress promptly assigns you to a table and brings water(suitable for large or small groups). On the table is a very clever Toast ordering app. This allows you to order separately and assign your name to the order. The vibe of the place is definitely casual and good for a late night hangout. My friend and I ordered the "Seoul Super Fries" and 12 pieces of fried chicken with 2 flavors (soy garlic and seoul spicy). We both really like the soy garlic chicken, but weren't a fan of the Seoul spicy. We also really liked the fries, which came in a pretty large portion. Lastly, we ordered the tacos. Came around to this place after some shenanigans in the area. I've actually came to this place years ago back when it was still located in downtown Fullerton so I was surprised that they had moved. Having a bigger indoor space was definitely an improvement for sure. There is also parking right next to the building that I didn't see. Some food we ordered: Red T.B.K (TTEOKBOKKI): Ricecakes was pretty good amount of chewiness and the fishcakes were standard. I think we might've gotten too mild for the tteokbokki; the sauce was a little sweet for me. We did have some white friends with us too Korean Chicken Wings - 12 pcs (Sweet Chili/Soy Garlic): Can't really go wrong with this as a good snack food. I would think a bit more pickled vegetables or have some pickled radish in the middle would accentuate it more. It felt a bit sparse as a palate cleanser. Seoul Super Fries: which compared to the others wasn't my go to favorite. Maybe because we went when it wasn't as busy, but service was decent I would say. Attentive when we were looking for something but I recall them being in the kitchen more than occasionally checking the tables. It's been a while since I visited this restaurant in store, but it looks like they've rebranded and moved locations -- or rather switched locations with their sister store. All of their food items looks like it stayed the same with a few additional items. I stuck to the classics: tbk, 6 pc wings (soy garlic and sweet chili), kimchi tacos, and a bottle of soju. Everything tastes exactly how I remembered it, sweet, spicy, and savory. The wings here are probably my favorite because they hold so much flavor and the chicken skin is incredibly crispy. The tbk is good, but after a few bites it does feel overwhelmingly sweet. Kimchi tacos are very delicious with the kimchi bits over the bulgogi meat. There was only one person when we came but he was fantastic and always made sure we were doing okay. This location is now located close by Costco where Sushi Joint used to be. The parking lot fits maybe about 8-10 cars. They also offer a patio that looks like it's outdoors but is really covered and indoors. One of the many places you can find to grab a bite and some drinks till late in DTF (Down Town Fullerton). Best place to park here is the parking structure as parking can sometimes be hard to find or slightly confusing. For my dinner I had ordered the 12 piece chicken wings with every flavor (plain, soy garlic, Korean spice, and their sweet spicy), a beef Bibimbap (Korean rice with a mix of everything that's served in a skillet) and their Ramen Ttebboki. The wings were nice and crispy and had a good amount of spice and flavor. The crispiness is what you look for with Korean fried chicken so it definitely checked that mark. The Ramen was alright, the consistency of the noodles being al dente was the best part of it. And lastly the Bibimbap with beef was just good. For that I usually like a little more flavor and hotter skillet to where you get a little crispy rice on the bottom. It's a great place for late night dining and a group of friends to drink with. I came on Mother's Day and it wasn't packed which was nice so we got seated right away, parking is in the back but there's an entrance there! They have a cute little ambiance going on feels like a hole in the wall spot to me. The food was good but like some other reviews say lacked flavor, I did have to ask for another sauce for my burrito because it just tasted like nothing even though it was full of different ingredients. The server was really nice and gave us waters right away and a lot of napkins which we did need for the food we ordered. We also got the best seller fries and that was good and the sauce complimented it well. The best seller ramen I believe was really good ! What happened to this place? It used to be so good. But the past few orders have been terrible. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe it was just an off night--but it's become a consistent issue, especially with pickup orders. I recently placed a large order and was so disappointed that I had to order food from somewhere else. It was embarrassing to serve a half-empty sandwich to my guests, and the wings weren't fresh at all. Out of 15 sliders, only two were decent--and even those were just okay.
