We love coming here. The food is consistently good. It is a long wait for the wings but it's worth it. They come out perfectly hot and crispy. Inside meat is always juicy. You get big portions as well. We got 24 wings for the both of us and had leftovers. This location feels a lot more calmer than the other KoKo locations we have gone to. They still play Kpop and have a big bar menu but customers here tend to be much older and respectful. It's a good location for good wings but probably not the location you want to come for party vibes.

Get your K-fried chicken here, you won't regret it! Best size, flavors, and price in Buena Park/Fullerton The servers were very kind and friendly with bringing us all our food too! They have basic flavors but all the side dishes, beer, and soups to fill you up

Koko is one of our go to spots for Korean fried chicken but we were very disappointed today. Placed an online order and arrived a few minutes early to check in. Was notified by the rep that the food would be ready in about 10 minutes which meant it would be done on time based on our order placement time. What needed up happening was that we got our food 56 minutes after we placed the order and not 35 as stated in the email. Asked the rep why and his response was sorry we got busy and your order fell behind. There were a few issues with this answer. 1. There were only two tables in the restaurant and they were at the end of their meals. 2. There were only two other to go orders and one had been picked up while I was sitting waiting. There was no real correction for the error or ownership of the mistake and this has made our experience a subpar one today.

We ordered the Koko Soy wings 12 pcs. and the rice cake both are okay. The rice cake could use some more sweetness and spiciness to it. The zucchini fries is top notch!

Personally not a chicken person but this spot has some juicy chicken wings! Larger than expected. Service was there and kept refreshing our salad and radish. Small spot but not bad for a drinking, sport bar and chicken wing menu place. Great casual spot in general.

I love LOVE korean fried chicken. But after a few bites things went downhill. Fried chicken was juicy. Batter was crispy. But everything was just sweet with no flavor. The soy sauce was definitely Kikkoman soy sauce or something which is very mild and lacking in umami. The lack of salt also did not help. I was just so excited to eat some korean fried chicken but the lack of flavor with no dimension is sad. Also, the radish was sweetened with alternative sugar. The after taste was apparent. Stevia or something. Not a fan. The cabbage salad with an in-n-out dressing was good. Has a delayed spice kick. The grilled gizzards also were kind of bland. Sorry I won't come back. But if you like sweetness then this place is for you.

Koko Fried Wings- crispy juicy Korean fried chicken. We had the sour&sweet and sweet soy sauces on the side cause we wanted different floors but were not that hungry at the time. I prefer it mixed already so something to consider in the future. But overall still amazing Corn cheese- your standard corn cheese. Though the cheese felt like it could have melted a bit more. Otherwise a good side with our chicken Amazing Korean fried chicken place in SoCal. Some of the best in SoCal. Comes with a side of cubed daikons and cabbage with dressing. Great to cutting out the grease in the chicken. Always a good go to and parking is easy in the parking lot in front of the store.

I ordered these Koko Soy Wings for two people and we only got through half of it. These were so delicious but I was just so full. They took a while to come out but when they finally came you can tell they were freshly prepped, bartered, and cooked to perfection. These wings were so crispy and golden. I ordered it with a side of rice and ate a ton of their pickled radish as well. Daniel was a great server and I look forward to coming back here to enjoy more soy wings.

Food: 2 Service: 3 Ambiance: 3 2.5 stars. Service was ok but not super friendly. Food came out in a decent amount of time but left a lot for the imagination. Supreme fries were a rip off with like 3 bacon bits and the whole chicken was so tiny. Even with the sauce, chicken wasn't as tasty for Korean fried chicken. We did enjoy the chive pancake. My friend hyped this place up and I was a bit disappointed.

I would have given 5 stars bc they have great food but they messed up my order. I ordered 12 soy wings but only got plain wings. Otherwise great place and good vibes.

I love how late this spot is open. The vibe gives off group hangout, late night, watching the game. You can order drinks and chicken and it's a good time. Came here with my boyfriend and we ordered two half orders. One original one soy. The chicken is incredibly crunchy and a nice size which I was surprised by. Flavor was good but not sure if it's the best. Definitely the best texture and size i've seen though. Staff was helpful and it wasn't too busy. One thing that's was weird was towards the end of the meal we started smelling something odd it reminded us of gas? We were by what looked like an air purifier and it looked like it was also catching onto something in the air. I could be wrong about the device but it did smell weird. Luckily we were wrapping up but it was definitely off putting at the end.

They have a ridiculous policy that seems to switch from table to table. We wanted to order a pitcher of beer but since one person in our party wasn't 21 they wouldn't allow. BUT THEN!! a table next to us sat down and had about 6 soju bottles and SHOCKER they had kids at their table, but I thought the policy was that everyone had to be 21??? We asked about it and then they said it's because we might distribute it to our friend, yea no. They literally told us "becuase we were all around the same age they couldn't". We were not. And how do they know the parents wouldn't give alcohol to their kids? Are they just deciding when this so called "policy" takes effect? Ruined our entire night, we came just to watch the game and have a beer. Would not return.

After last night I was ready to just write this place off and move on. Then I checked my bank…read morestatement today and saw that my tip had been increased by $10 after the fact. That is where this crosses from bad service into outright shady behavior. We came in as a group for dinner and the experience was mediocre at best. The restaurant was so dark we had to ask for additional lamps, which didn't even stay on. The service button at the table didn't work, so we repeatedly had to flag down the two servers. Water refills were forgotten. Basic attentiveness was missing. Nothing about the service justified anything beyond "okay." Our server eventually replenished our onions and broth, and perhaps that single "heroic" act went to her head- because after we paid and were already heading to our car, she ran out after our group. Our server, ASHLEY ran out to the parking lot to tell me my total was incorrect. I had accidentally written $170 instead of $178 due to a minor handwriting error. Understandable- so I corrected it immediately. That should have been the end of it. But it wasn't. She then had the audacity to question why her tip was "only 7%." I told her the service was just okay and we left. No argument, no scene- but it was already inappropriate and unprofessional to confront customers about their tip in the first place. What's completely unacceptable is what happened next. The finalized charge posted as $188- not the corrected $178. That means she added an extra $10 to my tip without my consent. Let's be clear: that is not a "mistake," that is altering a signed receipt and helping yourself to someone else's money. For context, my intended tip was $14.95- about 10% of the subtotal. More than fair for the level of service we received. Tips are optional, not owed and certainly not something a server gets to revise after the fact because they feel entitled to more. This was downright tacky, dishonest, and a complete breach of trust. I have already filed a dispute with my bank as I have a picture of what I signed before leaving the restaurant and I strongly recommend others check their receipts carefully and document it before leaving as well. But if you are smart, you would avoid an establishment that employs such an abhorrent server with no integrity or shame. Do better.

During the planning phase, General Manager Mike's experience was extremely helpful when we shared what we envisioned for the party. He advised us where to set up the sections for food, a photo booth, the satellite bar, gift/message table, and where to place the tables that were in front of the stage for our hired entertainment (singer and DJ). We reserved the beach outdoor patio which can have up to 200 people, stage and dance area and TVs to project photos. From the moment we arrived, besides Mike, Kelly was also onsite and the point of contact for our event and was available during the event. The service was nothing short of exceptional. Servers Raelyn and team were attentive, personable, and went above and beyond to ensure a successful event. My husband and I were able to enjoy the party alongside our family with our family and friends. Our event was held during Memorial Day weekend when a chemical leak occurred in Garden Grove and Mike worked closely with us to address our concerns, kept us informed every step of the way regarding any potential impact to the Buena Park location (which, thankfully, was never affected) and made sure every detail we outlined in the layout of the event was in place. His professionalism and steady reassurance transformed what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless and joyful evening. The ambiance was lively, festive, and absolutely ideal for our crowd. And the food? Our guests could not stop raving about it. Everyone agreed it far surpassed typical bar food. The sliders were a massive hit, the pizza was devoured within minutes and generous in portion and incredible in flavor -- had everyone going back for seconds. Multiple guests approached us throughout the night just to compliment the food, which says everything. That night at Rock and Brews in Buena Park will forever be a cherished core memory for our family and friends. After we graduated, we promised to have a little reunion here as adults when we were old enough to drink. This little reunion happened recently. My little sister, who is 17, knew I was meeting my friends for dinner and asked if she could come. Since I knew we would be drinking, I called the restaurant ahead of time to ask if she could sit with us since she wouldn't be drinking. They said no. If we were drinking, she couldn't be there. I thought it was unfortunate, but I told my sister she couldn't come to dinner with us. But what was really annoying is that after we ordered alcohol, our server didn't card us. I went out of my way to uninvite my sister because they said she couldn't be there, and they didn't even check. I thought it was a dumb rule in the first place, but it was really annoying that they didn't even enforce it after I went out of my way to ask. The pork belly skewers were really good. I can see why we used to come all the time as kids. Smoky and crispy. There's a big super traditional looking grill at the front of the restaurant, so I guess they're super serious about their skewers. The okonomiyaki was good too. We decided to try the rose tteokbokki since it was a new menu item, but we were unimpressed. There were barely any toppings inside. We also got the steamed squid, but I thought it was a bit overcooked. We might've stayed a little longer, but the sight of a cockroach climbing on our table sent a chill down our spines. We told a server that we saw a cockroach, but she just stared at us blankly and walked away without doing anything. After that, we had serious issues about the perceived cleanliness of the restaurant and left immediately.  I'm disappointed. In the end, I didn't get the warm and fuzzy nostalgic feeling I was yearning for. I think there were several interactions with the workers that they could have handled better. I cleared my little side quest, so I don't think I have a reason to ever return.

But like I said, we wanted to try this place out so we decided to sit back down and order. Food: Hubby ordered your hamburger and I ordered fish & chips. Good was delicious! Bigger portions than expected. Burger came with double patty and although his burger came out well-done (when he asked for med-well) it was not dry and still juicy. My fish & chips were also delicious! Two big pieces of cod fish. Not greasy at all! I ate one piece and took the other home. So....food was great. Will return to try other items. Service is lacking. Would recommend at least have the employees were name tags if you're not gonna provide any type of uniform so we know who is employed. And please greet and welcome your patrons. This little customer service skill goes a loooooong way. (Minus star) Oh and also... the booth next to me needed some cleaning. Like I mentioned, the restaurant wasn't busy so let's not forget to also clean the booths and floor when able to and not just the tables. (Minus star)
