Finally tried this spot right across my house as I've always seen it but never tried it. It was surprisingly really good! The honey luv and the original were the best. Mala and seaweed were just okay, not sure if it's worth trying. We also ordered the anchovy fries but it was so disappointing because it tasted stale, old, and it didn't come with the anchovies in the picture. Also couldn't really taste the anchovy oil either.

Came here for lunch, which it was pretty easy to grab a seat. Plenty of parking as well since it's in a shared plaza with Barnes & Noble and Target. We ordered the 6 pcs gim ballad and 6 pcs red disco, along with anchovy fries. The ambiance of the restaurant is pretty unique, hence that the owner really enjoys disco(?) music, so the theme was pretty on point. The menu itself felt pretty old so it feels like this place has been here for a long while. It didn't take too long for our order to arrive. The chicken was generally pretty huge! I tried the gim ballad first, which the seaweed flavor was very subtle. I did enjoy it a lot more with the salsa they prepared. It was just very crunchy and crispy, but I wish there was more "layers" to the crispness. The red disco was very sauced down, my bf says it taste like sweet and sour Chinese food lol. Although, it does taste the most Korean of the two, but at the same time, it doesn't taste as Korean authentic. The anchovy fries were also okay, it tasted like normal fries tbh so it didn't taste any special. Overall, the chicken was pretty nice and the gim ballad one was unique to try. Although overall, I have tried many other Korean fried chicken joints but this doesn't taste as authentic as like bonchon or bbq chicken. It tastes a bit more mild down to appeal to an American audience iykyk.

If you're looking for crispy fried chicken, then this is the place to come to. The way the chicken was so crispy yet so juicy was just phenomenal. We got the tnt, lemon curry and the gim ballad. My favorite flavor was definitely the tnt I just wish it was a bit more spicy. My friends and I also ordered the anchovy fries which was really light in flavor, would not order that again. I was excepting an anchovy flavor bomb but it was mainly garlic profile. The lemon curry fries which fried to the perfect crispy yet fluffy perfection. There were a few tables and there was a spot where you can also sit around on the floor with your buddies eating wings. The service was quick and the person helping was really tentative. Would definitely come back.

Solid Korean fried chicken. Definitely had some interesting flavors. Everything is definitely shareable. We got the following for 6 adults and 2 kids and were all satiated. Red Disco - a little sweet and spicy Gim - good crunch, self explanatory, it tastes like seaweed Jackson five - great variety if you're indecisive Smooth like Butter rice - solid side, kid friendly Rappokki - good portion and spice level Service was fast and friendly. Plenty of parking in the back. We ate outside, but seemed like a bar type at atmosphere.

So yummy! The batter of the chicken was very crispy and packed with flavor and the chicken was cooked nicely. I personally liked the anchovy flavoring for the fried chicken. All the dishes were really great, and I'm excited to try more since the menu has so much variety. Rupert was our server and was attentive and friendly and made our casual dining experience enjoyable. They also sell their personal crackers here that are 100% worth the try.

First time here, and was so excited to try it! Came here with 3 others and we got the 12 piece wings (6 red disco & 6 honey luv) and 10 piece tenders (5 Gim and 5 Lemon) and sweet potato fries & anchovy fries, and we absolutely smashed it. Brilliant. The oil must be changed daily and at the right temperature, so it's not a greasy feeling afterward: we all feel clean and happy and nicely full leaving this epic meal. Friendly staff, easy parking, and great vibe with good music!

First timer! Lots of parking behind restaurant. Weeknight dinner and was seated right away. Cool little restaurant, and clean. The gentlemen working were so nice, helpful, and even celebrated our friend's birthday with us. My friends and I were AMAZED by how good the chicken is here! The green sauce on the Lang Saeb is DELICIOUS. The lemon curry seasoning is AWESOME. Definitely the crispiest and most delicious fried chicken I've had in town. Til next time!

I've had this spot bookmarked for a while because I'm a big fan of Korean fried chicken and this spot was on the Yelp top eats in the OC list. I ordered the original, red disco, honey luv, and lemon curry pepper tenders. Overall, I thought all the tenders were solid. The red disco and lemon curry pepper tenders were good whereas I was underwhelmed by the original and honey luv flavors--I love when my food is super seasoned and flavorful and I felt that these two flavors lacked that. Flavor wise, I think I enjoyed Korean fried chicken at other spots more. With that being said, I appreciated how all the tenders were decently sized and really crispy! Service here was exceptionally friendly! The server talked us through the menu and shared his recommendations. The store is on the casual side but the vibes here are cool! Overall, this was a good spot but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

We got the gim wings, red disco wings, and fries. The wings are good and pretty big portions. We got two smalls and left pretty full. My favorite out of the two was the red disco wings. It was pretty spicy and saucy which I love. I was the most excited about the gim wings but I thought it was okay. Nothing too crazy and probably wouldn't order next time. The fries were delicious though and went so well. The restaurant had cute decor inside!!

First timer! We were nicely greeted by the server and he had some good recommendations. We tried the Red disco chicken and it was sweet and spicy definitely good. We also ordered the Spicy carbonara and it was definitely flavorful. Our last item was the Original Poppin chicken and it was perfectly crispy. This spot has music playing and it has a chill vibe to it. I understand why this place is highly rated. Definitely worth trying if you're in the area.

This is our second time having "Sound chicken" and we held off reviewing the first time because we only got the original/plain wings and they were good and crispy but the second time we tried Lemon pepper curry and Honey Luv Rap and immediately had to leave a review. The spices exploded on first taste and even ordering takeout the crunch remained. The restaurant itself was a lot busier than previously and I expect it would only get busier due to how good this place is. They have a ton of other options aside from just the chicken so can't wait to go back and try them too

I stopped by I Got My Sound Chicken and ordered the Billboard Top 3, which is such a fun option if you want to try a few of their most popular wing flavors without committing to just one. It came with their Gim Ballad (seaweed), ginger, and classic wings, and I also added the Smooth Like Butter Rice on the side. The first thing that stood out was definitely the crunch. The wings had that super satisfying crispy texture that makes Korean fried chicken so good, and each flavor gave a slightly different experience. The Gim Ballad was probably the most unique of the three -- definitely not your standard wing flavor, but fun to try if you want something different. The ginger had a really nice savory flavor, and the classic was simple, crispy, and easy to like. The Smooth Like Butter Rice was also a really good side to pair with everything. It balanced out the wings well and made the whole meal feel a little more complete and comforting. I also liked that the Billboard Top 3 made the meal feel more interactive, especially if you're someone who likes trying different flavors in one order. Overall, this was a fun and satisfying meal with old school ambiance, and I'd come back to try more of the menu.

    Look at all those wings!

Okay, why did I just find out about this place. Im a fried chicken girly and this place surprised me! 10s across the board. Mostly Korean wing places kinda have the same flavor profile but not this one. My friends and I came here for the seaweed wings cuz who doesnt wanna try a black fried wing. I was so impressed. I didnt expect it to be so crunchy and delicious. We were able to try TNT, mala, lemon curry, honey and sweet/spicy. We got the whole smorgasbord of wings. The gim (seaweed) was my definite stand out. The TNT was next. The vibe is very much designed by a music lover. The wall of radios is so cool. Service was excellent as well! I definitely recommend!

Came into bb.q chicken Anaheim with a couple friends after almost visiting house of Shabu shabu II,…read moreafter this caught our eye in the same parking lot. When we came in, the restaurant was pretty empty but very clean and well air conditioned which is a must right now. We were sat quickly and were able to easily order on the iPad. We ordered the cheese balls, rose tteokbokki, and boneless soy garlic chicken (large). They pretty quickly brought a complimentary side salad to the table which was a crunchy and refreshing shredded cabbage with a thousand island like sauce similar to what you'd be served with Korean katsu. Our cheese balls came out next. We were expecting something a bit more savory, but to our surprise, they were quite sweet. It tasted almost like a donut, if you've had the Korean rice donuts filled with red bean or sweet cream cheese, these tasted like the latter, but with some sort of melting cheese like mozzarella also mixed in. While it wasn't what we were necessarily looking for, they were very tasty, but I don't think we'd get it with chicken again. I really like the tteokbokki here. They're heavy on the veggies like cabbage, which I actually enjoy about it. It holds the sauce in a way the rice cakes just don't. Their sauce is also lightly sweet and not too rich or spicy. It makes the dish go down a lot easier than other versions of it. The chicken came out last, and was impressive as expected. You may expect boneless chicken to be dry or flavorless, but bb.q chicken somehow manages to avoid all that while still achieving a satisfying crunch all while covered in sauce. Even their sauced chicken is somehow still crispy, which I think is owed mostly to their breading and frying methods, as well as the conservative amount of sauce they put on it (which we appreciate). I would definitely return to this location for Korean fried chicken. The Irvine one wall has also been reliable in my experience. The only location which has been consistently bad is the Fullerton location, whose ambiance, service, and food have been lackluster on the multiple occasions I've been there, which is surprising for a chain like this. Two thumbs up for Anaheim tho.

Chick-N-Out was one of the most highly rated places in Anaheim California. Chick-N-Out is located on Ball Road near Disneyland. It's open daily from 5:00 P.M to 11:00 P.M. Extended hours are on Fridays and Saturdays. This pop up food truck offers a variety of chicken sandwiches, French Fries, wraps, nachos, tenders and more! Most of their combo meals cost between $18.00-$20.00 each. My husband and I both ordered a chicken sandwich combo. My Chicken sandwich only had pickles on it, but he had everything added to his sandwich! There were a few customers ahead of us, so we ended up waiting about 15 minutes for the order. After we got our meal, we decided to eat it in our car fresh instead of bringing it back to the hotel. The chicken sandwich was so delicious! It was super crunchy. I think it was deep fried with the corn flake crust. It was one of the more unique chicken sandwiches I've ever had. The chicken cutlet was relatively thin, but still scrumptious! I haven't had anything like this before! The French Fries were good. They needed a little bit more salt for me. The Cajun corn was slightly spicy. The cooks in the food truck prepare the orders from scratch. While we were waiting for the order, we saw a lot of the chicken cutlets being prepared and deep fried. I really enjoyed eating at Chick-N-Out. It's one of my new favorite places to eat at near Disneyland!
