Ever since I heard about the opening of Lotteria in Fullerton, I had been wanting to check it out. Their menu has a distinctly Korean twist, making it an interesting alternative to the more familiar burger chains in California. I am super glad that my partner and I finally decided to make the drive there. Between the two of us, we shared four Shrimp Burgers, an order of Shake It Fries, and an order of Shake It Nuggets. For the fries and nuggets, we tried both the cheese and onion seasoning packets. The portion sizes turned out to be bigger than I expected. The standout of the meal was undoubtedly the Shrimp Burger. Each burger was packed with flavor, and the shrimp patty had an especially satisfying, tender texture. The fries and nuggets were also enjoyable, particularly because the seasoning packets allowed us to customize the flavor. Both the cheese and onion seasonings were good, but the onion seasoning was my clear favorite, offering a more savory and aromatic flavor. There was a lot of hype when this spot first opened, but the hype has died down and I did not have to wait in line during my recent visit. [Parking]: There is a drive-thru lane, but the fast food spot is located in a large plaza so parking was not an issue. [Ordering]: I placed my order via one of two kiosks and in less than five minutes I received a text message stating that my order was ready. However, when I walked up to the pickup counter, the staff looked confused. Once I showed her my text, she realized that my order was indeed ready. [Menu]: The top two items recommended on Yelp are Shrimp Burger and Bulgogi Burger. *** Bulgogi Burger (grilled onion - $6.49): The burger had a sweet aftertaste but came with a soggy bun like McDonald's. Deals and me, count me in! Saw their first anniversary special and decided to try their shrimp burgers, which were $1 (up until 8/16). Shrimp burgers were okay to me, nothing too special where I would go out of my way to come back. They have some type of thousand island-like dressing inside with some lettuce. I'm glad that I got to try it when it was $1 because $6.99 seems pretty pricey to me. Also tried their shake it fries with onion powder, which was also just okay. I prefer Potato Corner's fries as the onion powder here was not up to par. Service was still good despite the busy influx of customers for their anniversary deal, so thumbs up for that-- I only waited around 5-10 minutes. Came here twice in the past two weeks for their recent anniversary promos. Last week I got their $1 bibim rice wrap which was pretty good. Basically like a rice burrito with a bit of beef inside, and decently spicy from the gochujang sauce. Then the next week I went for the $1 shrimp burger, which was SUCH a good deal, and a solid burger tbh. The inside feels very much like a very clean fast food restaurant, like a burger king or mcdonalds. I also came near the end of the business hours so there was a long line of other people trying to get the promo. Even the drive through line was crazy long. Despite that, the servers handled the rush really well both times and were friendly enough. Would recommend trying them out if you're interested and curious. Shout out to the business for hosting these promos, they're such a good deal and I don't think I would try them otherwise as this location is very out of the way for me. I loved my first experience at Lotteria so much, I just wish they had one closer to home :( I initially came because I'm a huge fan of TXT and I knew that they had been largely involved in the promo when this location first opened. It was so fun to see their pictures and a shirt that they had signed right when I walked in, but the food itself was so delicious and fresh that I was already thinking of an excuse to come all the way to Fullerton again. The space was very clean and has an elevated McDonald's feel. I ordered on a kiosk and my food came out relatively quickly. As it's pretty far, we decided to try a few different things from the menu, but my favorite had to be the Shrimp Burger. The patty itself was so flavorful and the texture was great; it was perfectly crispy and the bigger pieces of shrimp were a perfect addition. Next time, I would probably skip out on the Shake It Chicken because I felt like I got more batter than actual chicken, but the Shake It Fries with cheese powder were a must-order. We also tried the Bibim Rice Burger which had a more savory and spicy flavor but was pretty difficult to eat. On Sunday, June 28th, I visited Lotteria in Fullerton and bought a shrimp burger as a snack for $7.53. A few days later, I saw on social media that Lotteria was celebrating America's 250th anniversary by offering its Double Shrimp Burger for just $2.50 for two days only, on July 2nd and July 3rd. Since it was such a great deal, I went back for lunch on July 3rd. The restaurant was busy, probably because of the promotion. The $2.50 Double Shrimp Burger was limited to two per customer, but the burger was much bigger than I expected. Since it was a double shrimp burger, it was very filling, and I was completely stuffed after finishing just one. The staff members were all friendly, and the burger was delicious. To start off, Lotteria feels like a breathe of fresh air when it comes to restaurants in the Fullerton area. I've lived in this area for most of my life and there really aren't any restaurants similar to this, from the variety of items to the flavors of each thing itself. I also love that there's always some kind of promotion or deal to bring customers in and open the door to the rest of the menu. The inside of the restaurant itself is very clean, upkept and well designed. The staff is friendly I've never had to wait more that 5 minutes to have my order ready. After seeing billboards for this place, I honestly thought it had to be some amazing new burger spot. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite. The food didn't make a good first impression. The presentation alone left a lot to be desired. The Chicken Sandwich looked hastily assembled, with a squished bun, lettuce spilling everywhere, and a giant chicken filet awkwardly hanging out the sides. The Shrimp and Bulgogi Burger looked just as sloppy. I can't believe they would think that it was OK to serve the burgers to customers this way. Still, I figured maybe they would taste better than they looked. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The Bulgogi Burger was underwhelming and tasted like a basic burger with a super sweet BBQ sauce. The patty was thin, the toppings were messy, and the cheese wasn't melted. We had specifically requested extra melting because we noticed this issue in photos beforehand, but it still arrived the same way. How are people raving on and on about the Shrimp Burger? It tasted so weird. I felt like I was eating fried dough with some shrimp pieces mixed in there. If the patty only consisted of shrimp, made into paste, mixed with breadcrumbs then deep fried, I might've enjoyed it a little more. Quite frankly that was kind of what I had envisioned in my mind, but boy was I disappointed. Since the burgers were fairly small and we couldn't finish the Shrimp Burger because ... "Hello taste?! You in there?'' we ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich hoping it would redeem the meal. Unfortunately, that was another letdown. The chicken looked nothing like the advertised photos. The filet was flat, lacked the crispy coating, tasted old and stale, and overall not the kind of fried chicken one would expect from a Korean fried chicken restaurant. Honestly, a fried chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A or even Jack in the Box would taste better. The only good thing about this place is the friendly cashier person and clean space. Sadly, good service and a clean dining room aren't enough to make up for the disappointing food. Finally tried LOTTERIA and got to eat the double bulgogi cheeseburger, fries and the bibim rice burger on this visit. The bulgogi cheeseburger was good but maybe not as 'oh my' as I had hoped. The slices of cheese were not melted onto the patties which I kinda expected them to be? With the bibim rice burger, I had hoped the rice 'buns' were pan fried to a point where they are firm enough to pick up like a burger yet has a soft inside but it was on the soft side so you'll need to eat it with a knife and fork. Flavor was authentic otherwise. I'm still not sure about the shrimp burger??? I do like fish sandwiches so maybe it's better than I think? I had been wanting to try out this place for quite sometime! It is in a small building, but has a this warm and inviting ambiance. Very clean and well-maintained. There is also a t-shirt memorabilia from TXT (K-Pop group) hanging on their wall. The staff was very attentive too. This is the ONLY location in the US! I wish there were more. Ample parking outside and there was a small outdoor seating area. We had ordered through their touch screen machine which was easy. I'm very upset about what happened today. I came here specifically for the Sunday promotion: buy one shrimp burger and get one free. When I got to the drive-thru, the employee told me the promotion was limited to one per customer. I completely understood, so I specifically asked if I could go through the drive-thru a second time to use the promotion again. She said yes. Based on what she told me, I placed my order a second time without any issues. Later, I went back a third time because I wanted to buy enough for the rest of my family. After waiting behind three cars in the drive-thru, I was told I could no longer use the promotion and they refused my order. What frustrates me isn't that I couldn't get the promotional price--it's that I was given incorrect information. If the policy is one promotional purchase per customer, regardless of how many times you go through the drive-thru, then please just say that from the beginning. It would have saved me the time and frustration of waiting in line again. I even asked the manager, "If I wasn't allowed to use the promotion more than once, then why did the employee tell me I could come back through the drive-thru, and why was my second order accepted?" You can see in the food was piling up, no one to give out orders, drive thru was gridlocked and there were 3 guys making food. Not a sign order went out for 15 mins. There was no one manning the fries station so it took even longer for the person completing orders. I don't really blame the workers....there was clearly no structure. I am surprised they picked Fullerton for their first US location as if in the city, this place would be poppin'. My friend and I went on a Saturday early evening and it was not busy at all. Only a couple other tables besides us were sat and only a couple cars went through the Drive-Thru while we were there. Big parking lot serving many businesses but it shouldn't be a problem finding a spot. If dining in or stepping in for take out, order on the iPad then grab your order from the counter once it's ready. They had a good amount of indoor seating with highchairs available, plus a really nice patio area. The tables were all clean & felt relaxed despite being along a busy street. They even had cute little battery-operated candles on the tables, awwww! On the menu, there are a few items from Korea you won't see at this US location but they have most of the basics. Burgers are the main thing here and in order of deliciousness to me, they're ranked: 1.Shrimp Burger - it's just so darn crispy with chunks of shrimp inside! 2. Bulgogi Burger - i need to try the deluxe next time but the basic had delicious flavor. 3. Bibim Rice Burger - this is fun but messy to eat with it's rice patties. it feel apart pretty quickly but if you like spicy gochujang, you'll love this. I loved the shake it chicken, both the cheese and onion flavors were great. I would skip getting the chicken again though because there wasn't much meat under all that deep fried breading. They looked much more plump in the stock photos. The Shake It Chicken was good flavor but I like my protein! The fries come with the same Shake It style cheese or onion flavors which both taste great on fries. Their fries give me McDonald's vibes - skinny and crisp. I wouldn't recommend mixing the onion and cheese powder packets though...don't get over ambitious like us. Refillable pop station. What can I say but....Yum! To be honest, this was not a place I look out for, but my husband wanted to try their burgers. Two weeks later, here we are. Their burgers here really surprised me in the best possible way. The texture of the meat was juicy and packed with flavor. I really enjoyed the pickle taste, wish for more of it. The meats were not dry or overly greasy like some burger spots that I've had. Honestly, you can tell that they focus on the quality of the meat, and it really makes the burger stand out. We didn't want to come when it first open due to the fact that it was going to be very crowded and we didn't want to wait hours to try a burger. So we waited a couple of months for the hype to die down before we decided to come. The restaurant is nice and clean. They have an ordering kiosk if you prefer not to order from the counter. Ordering was easy from the kiosk. We ordered four different burgers to try. 1. Bulgogi Deluxe Burger 2. Shrimp Burger 3. Bulgogi & Shrimp Burger 4. Bibim Rice Burger We also got some Fries and Drinks. Drinks were refreshing. Fries were good, it came with a flavor packet. Depends on our preferences, some of us like the flavor packet, other said they prefer eating the fries without the flavor packet. As for the burgers, they were ok. Didn't stand out for me. Waited over six months to try it. My 4 stars is based on what I ordered today. I really liked my shrimp Burger! $6.99. Would definitely order again. Also got the bulgolgi fries. It was good too. Would enjoy it better if fries were hot and more crispy. No lines anymore like when they first opened. Service was efficient and friendly through drive thru. Inside looked bright with a few tables occupied. 2 burgers and 1 fries approx $22 date night. No drinks needed m. Give it a try if you haven't! read more

I was pretty excited I was able to go to Fullerton this week because I've been wondering what this place tasted like. I thought of originally ordering two burgers, but discovered that they had a burger that combined both the shrimp and the bulgogi patty together, thanks to the really helpful recommendation from the server. In addition to that, I tried some of the chicken shakers with an onion seasoning, along with a bingsoo, all to the recommendation of the server. First, I was really happy with how the burger turned out. Eating all of the patties together really was something special, but also individually taking bites out of each the shrimp and the bulgogi patties didn't disappoint either. They were both high quality patties with a lot of flavor, which I found a bit surprising because I typically don't like the taste of bulgogi (but I guess that's what happens when you eat it all the time growing up). I'd definitely recommend getting the shrimp bulgogi burger for sure. That recommendation from the server was spot on. The bingsoo, another recommendation, was full of flavor and had a lot of toppings. I was surprised at the end of it too, because when I went outside, I felt like I needed a jacket because that's how chilled I felt after eating it. I really enjoyed this mixture of shaved ice, a vanilla like flavor and the toppings. The only downside is I think they freeze the flower cookie at the top, so it's a bit harder than it would be if it was served at room temperature. But this was definitely worth getting too! For the chicken, I don't know. I went off script here and feel like fries would've been a better choice... I'm kinda disappointed I didn't try the fries instead. Like it's good, but you can get better chicken elsewhere... Also the onion seasoning that you shake in a bag to coat the chicken was pretty sweet. I think a little more sweeter than I anticipated. Maybe next time I'll try the cheese seasoning instead. Overall, I'm really happy I got to try this and I want to come back. Everyone who works here is really kind and attentive and makes great recommendations. The ambiance is great because you even get to see cool cartoon burgers on the outside. This place is exactly what you would expect if you imagine a koreanized McDonald's! Their shrimp and bulgogi burger were both good with the bulgogi burger reminding me of the bibigo beef mandu! My favorite item was the shaved ice since it wasn't too sweet and paired perfectly with the burgers and fries! read more

My son has been wanting to take me to this Korean Fast Food hamburger place snd the two of us were finally in the area together. I don't know if it was a blessing or a curse because when we arrived, the drive thru line was wrapping around the parking lot and the line to walk up was out the door. But it turned out to be a blessing because in celebration of Mother's Day, their shrimp burger sandwich was a dollar each. Luckily the walk up line was a lot faster than the drive thru. I was impressed with how well controlled they had it. We made it up to the counter and we were allowed to order three of the shrimp burgers for a dollar each and we got the bulgogi burger combo. They said it could take up to an hour for our order to be ready, but it only took a half an hour which was very pleasing. The shrimp burger was my favorite. The crispy shrimp patty with the light tartar sauce. The bulgogi patty was different. I thought it was quite sweet with the bulgogi sauce that they put. The cheesy shaken fries were a nice complement to the sandwiches. As crowded as they were, I was not overwhelmed with the crowds of people and like I said, how the staff took care of all the orders in a true fast food manner and we had no errors to our order. The special might have ruined a return visit for me, because now I contemplate if the shrimp burger is worth the $6.49 price when it's not on special. read more
