In 2015 we had more electrician work and tried to hire them again. Called repeatedly, left messages and spoke to the office and was told multiple times owner Jerry would call back. He never did. I even went so far as stopping in their office one day and to my face Jerry wrote down my number in his appointment book and promised he would call me. 4 months later; he still never has. Too bad Jerry can't be honest and simply say the job is too small or too far from Warwick to South Kingstown or whatever the real reason is. Business must be good for these guys that they don't need/want work. So unless you are a developer or looking for a sub for a large job, don't waste your time with these guys. Look for someone who is honest and really needs and wants the work.

My family and I had a very unpleasant experience with this business and in particular with the Office Manager Claire DelTufo. We hired them to fix a leaky pipe in my brother's home that we are trying to sell. After the first time around that the two men showed up to "fix" the pipe, my dad took a look at it later on and noticed it was still leaking so he called and asked them to come back - turns out another part was needed because the worker broke that part when trying to work on the pipe so my dad bought it and gave it to them to "finish" the job (we'll see if they decide to charge us for the part my dad bought with his own money based on the conversation I had with Claire which I'll get into momentarily.) We then find out that the pipe is still leaking because an assessor came in and mentioned it. So my dad fixed it as soon as possible as it was clear that Del Tufo Plumbing & Heating is unreliable. I then gave a call to the office and the first woman I spoke to was very pleasant but she said that Claire would have to give us a call back to get more information from us. A couple of minutes later, Claire called us and had an attitude straight off the back. When we explained what happened, she was like "Well what do you want? Money off the bill?". I of course said that would be nice since they didn't actually fix the pipe but she then refused that request in a very loud and aggressive tone. I then said ok to the denial of requesting money off the bill but then asked if she could provide feedback to the men that did the job since they did not actually fix the pipe and I do not want this problem to happen to someone else. She proceeded to scream at me about how she trusts her workers and doesn't understand why she should give them that type of feedback and that we should expect a bill soon. I would not recommend this company to anyone, especially if you need to deal with Claire as she is incredibly mean, rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional.

We…read morecalled our HVAC service provider, who indicated the issue was not with the boiler, but with the propane gas valve. He went on to say that our boiler would need to be replaced fairly soon, showing me pictures of rust. He provided a quote for boiler replacement. I called two other HVAC companies, including Ocean State Air Solutions. Joe DeSilva and his very knowledgeable partner, Chris, came to my home to take a look at the boiler. Chris was patient in describing the functionality of the various components of our system. He went on to say that our boiler was a cast-iron boiler in good shape and should last for many more years. He said selling me a new one would be dishonest. These two gentlemen were honest, forthright, and patient with me, who has zero knowledge of boilers. So, I am cancelling my contract with my current HVAC service provider and going with Joe and Chris from Ocean State Air Systems because Trust matters to me.
