I looked at her site and I was very impressed (the graphics were a little cheesy, but anyway) and called to make an appointment after I had my mom and my boyfriend look at her clients' BEFORE and AFTER pictures. I made my appointment for the following week at 4:30. I arrived almost an hour early--I'm new to the area and I made sure I had enough time to redeem myself if I got lost. Well, she didn't start to work on my hair until after my appointment time-No biggie. She took me into her work area and showed me the hair she would use for my sew-in. It had different colored streaks in it and that is not acceptable since I'm active Army. So, she said she had to color the hair. Strike one. She was not prepared. She washed and conditioned my hair. I was there until after 1030pm. Strike 100million! Just for a sew-in. And the job came out looking a mess! I was so embarrassed to go to work the next day. My section sgts asked me, "Where did you get your hair done? Please tell me so I DON'T GO THERE!" I will never ever go back to that woman. I feel like I have been taken advantage of. I have been trying to call her for two days and her phones have been disconnected. I stopped by her shop and it was closed. I sent her an e-mail asking her to please call and she responded saying she would. I try calling and her numbers today and they have been disconnected! Ladies, if you are looking for someone to do a good weave DO NOT GO TO DANNI WALKER IN KENT! ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! AND SHE DOES NOT TAKE CREDIT. I did not find out until after I was "done." The business's policies and communication have been confusing and unprofessional. The disclaimer…read morestates that if a deposit is not paid, an appointment will not be booked. However, I was able to book an appointment without paying the $50 deposit. Later, I received text messages stating that I could not schedule any future appointments until I paid the deposit because I had allegedly missed an appointment, but not thinking that it was actually booked until I paid it! This creates unnecessary confusion and miscommunication about whether the deposit is actually required. If the deposit is mandatory, the booking system should consistently enforce that policy, and not allow you to book without payment! I also do not appreciate being contacted through personal text messages regarding an alleged balance. If the business believes I owe a fee, I would expect a formal invoice or written documentation through the appropriate business channels. Repeated text messages requesting payment are not a professional way to handle billing matters. Definitely will take my 450.00 elsewhere!

I called reflections because they had good reviews, and Julie said she could get me in that Friday. Everyone there was very nice, and Julie was very knowledgable. I've never dyed my hair before, so I had a few questions. She answered them and had all the products I needed ready when I got there. Two and a half hours later I was a red head (my hair is normally a dark brown). I've heard that bleaching your hair can burn your scalp, but she was very careful about rinsing and timing the bleach, so my hair is still health and my scalp isn't irritated. Her outgoing and professional personality make you feel right at home. A while ago Kimberlee took some time off and I went to another salon in the mean time, big mistake! At that point in time I had a dark ombré (and of course I wanted to go back to blonde). The hairdresser I went to RUINED my hair. My hair was extremely damaged, bright orange and had a dark root...I was devastated and couldn't even get a brush through my hair. I never realized how spoiled I was with Kimberlee because she doesn't use ammonia products (her salon NEVER smells like bleach). Kimberlee saved my hair! Thanks to her, we didn't have to cut too much off in the process and I now have healthy bright blonde hair. This woman is amazing!
