We have had a box at The Mailroom for 25 years and they have always been professional, honest, polite, and provided great customer service. With a daughter who lived in HI, two deployments to Iraq by our son-in-law, and one deployment to Afghanistan by our grandson has presented costly shipping issues. The personnel at The Mailroom has always worked hard to ensure we were getting the cheapest mailing cost as possible. While this is my husband's business mailing address, I also have my medication and anything I order on line sent to The Mailroom without encountering a single problem. If anyone that reads this lives near the mailroom, I would appreciate some help because I really don't want to have to travel down there for this. I live in NJ and had something shipped from Texas back in November. I spoke to Johnny before shipping and he said no problem to the parcel. He shipped it and it came fairly quickly, however it was shattered. When I contacted Johnny he was very accommodating and said he would place a claim with UPS and let me know when complete. I followed up once and he said he hadn't heard back yet. Since then I have called and emailed numerous times with no response. This claim is worth a lot of money and I am extremely upset that he is not acknowledging my calls or emails. Is the business closed or is he just avoiding me? Very frustrating. read more

I'm not sure why all the negative reviews, I've been here 3-4 times, and had a good experience each time. So it's your basic small-business pack and ship location. They sell boxes in a very wide variety of sizes, packing tape, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, etc. They will also pack and ship your items via DHL, UPS or FedEx, and if you have a business account with any of those, you can use your account number. In addition, they also seem to have a PO Box service, which is where most of their recurring business comes from. Like I said, it's a small business, so there is only ever one person at the desk, mostly the owner. Sometimes, there can be a line because of this, and because he puts a lot of care into wrapping up the customers packages. But mostly there really isn't much of a line. Prices are quite reasonable, boxes are on par with a Staples, and they have a much better selection of sizes. Bubble wrap is like 50 cents more for 40ft, but to me it's worth it to support a small business. The owner can be curt, but he's never been rude. read more

DON'T go this mailroom, I fax 11 pages and the guy said $1 each and when I pay, they charged $1.5 each on my card, and the guy said you fax it already and $1.5 not $1, if I wasn't in a hurry back to work, I will call police, because this is not right, beware for this mailroom!! I had something to mail via USPS, but I may made a mistake to go here instead of directly go to USPS and drop in their mailbox. Because It's after hour and I didn't know that USPS has boxes that I can grab and use. So I went here and saw a lot of used boxes near the door, and no one is at the front desk. So I grabbed one and started to pack, later when the man, probably the owner, in his 60s, came from the back office and saw me, he gave me that very unfriendly face and after he figure out I already have the label printed, just need to drop off, which means he cannot make much money, he was more impatient, and said "you have the label you are gonna pay me for the box which is 50cents" and asked if I want to buy the tape and after hearing I got my own tape, he is more pissed and was act like why I came here. Then he keep saying just go to the post office, just go to the post office, so I dropped a dollar for his box and expected he give back 50cents because he said it's 50cents, but he didn't do that. So I ended up paid a dollar for his used box and got kicked out. Very rude and only cares about money. read more

Count me with others that are thoroughly disgusted with this store. Bad, inflexible "customer service" with a rude and unprofessional owner. I would take your packing and mailing needs to a UPS Store, which is certainly going to be more professional. By the way, the store is dark and dingy, filled with junk, and hasn't been cleaned since 2003. read more

I have rented a box from them for ~10 years through two owners. Both owners have been great to work with!

Absolutely horrible... ripped off. I sent 2 small packages under 2lbs a piece to 2 separate locations and asked for the cheapest possible delivery. Cost 38 dollars. The employee who was probably the owner just sat there all smug and said that was the cheapest he could find. Absolutely would not recommend this store.
