The way my wife and I were treated was incredibly disappointing. My wife is one of the kindest people you'll ever meet, yet we were met with rudeness both over the phone and through text messages. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and overall laziness we experienced made the situation even more frustrating. I had a fantastic experience with Joey from JAB Electric & Service! He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I was worried about a burning wire in my power disconnect, but Joey quickly diagnosed the issue, a loose connection, and reassured me that a simple fix was all that was needed. He even explained why this could happen over time due to normal expansion and contraction when electricity flows through the wires. Honestly, I was hesitant because of some negative reviews, but my home warranty company chose JAB, and I'm so glad they did. From what I've seen, those bad reviews seem to focus on customer service, not the actual quality of the work. I was put in touch with this company through my home warranty.. if you need work done I would recommend keep looking for another provider. The day of my appointment I guess their entire staff was out sick. I called and got voice mail to ask when do they plan on coming out because we have a cancer patient going through chemo and we really need this looked at. I never got a call back or any follow up. My warranty company has not set us up with another provider, hopefully they will be a little more professional and customer focused. read more

Do NOT call this company to help you. The service guy came to my house and my son had told him his dad is coming. The guy left called his office lied said he waited 20 minutes. Then when I called the office the receptionist wass EXTREMELY rude. She gave me an attitude and told me yeah he left he waited 20 minutes I said he did not wait 20 minutes and that he needs to come back. She then said with an attitude well if you would have answered your texts or calls this wouldnt be a problem and said he didn't have time to wait he went to his next service call. So I hung up. Horrible customer service! Rude service when attempting get service scheduled. The only response was " I cant guarantee a time in afternoon ". Waited 3 days to get service schedule, no time frame given of arrival and day of arrival , the call was " someone is on the way". When advised no one is home and can you please schedule in the afternoon, Janelle pushed the reschedule out for another week and reassured me that no afternoon times work only mornings. Mind you they stop working at 3pm per Janelle. If they dont care about customer service, they 100% will not car about the work they do in your home. I would not recommend this company to anyone. We had a 50 amp breaker for the oven and cook top in the kitchen. The breaker had been tripping frequently for quite awhile so we used our home warranty to have an electrician check it out. The electrician from JAB Electric identified the issue immediately and gave us a quick simple solution. Loose wiring at the panel from when the panel was replaced by our solar company and they didn't use anti-oxidant paste to prevent the aluminum wiring from overheating. He easily could have recommended a much more expensive solution but his integrity stood out to me and we will certainly recommend and use JAB Electric again. read more

Exact same experience as others on this site. Electrician came out after a week. Spent five minutes on site and indicated that he would work up an order to fix the issue. No real research checking the issue Warranty company stated this was not covered. I have called and texted Jab electric several times with no response. I understand that the problem was not covered by the warranty however it doesn't mean the work doesn't need to be done. I am out $95.00 dollars and need to find a new electrician. Please find better company to deal with. These mom and pop shops don't have the professionalism needed. read more

This company was sent out by my home warranty company. It took 10 days before they could even send someone out. The electrician come out and was very friendly, looked around for a second then offered his advice and said we can schedule a time to do the work after we hear back from the warranty. Well my warranty denied the claim, but we still wanted to go ahead with the work. I called and texted several times over the next 2 weeks trying to reach literally anyone with no luck. I FINALLY reached the world's most passive aggressive receptionist who simply said they couldn't do the work (even though the electrician himself said they could...) and that was that. This company was useless and the receptionist was AWFUL. Even the recorded voicemail message is passive aggressive! I have no idea how this sham of a company stays in business, I wouldn't even recommend them to an enemy. Choose quite literally any other company. read more

I had 2 bedrooms where none of the outlets were working due to the breaker tripping as soon as something was plugged in. I just purchased the home and this issue was on the inspection report and the prior owner just had him replace the type of breaker, without looking at the cause of it tripping. Joey (electrician who showed up) is friendly and experienced. Home warranty company sent him when my pendant lights stopped working. He found the problem (clips) and told me he would be back with them. I have been calling JAB for about a month and Janelle (who sounds chronically depressed on the phone) always says he will get back to me, and no one ever does. Maybe the home warranty declined to pay? I repeatedly told JAB I would personally pay if the warranty declined, and they never said "no, we aren't doing that" but kept saying "he'll call you back." I'm calling another company, but there goes the $85 I spent to get a home warranty service call, and 4 weeks, and I don't even know what part needs to be repaired. Why won't they tell me if they are going to come back or not? Very frustrating. read more

Couldn't be more unprofessional. Came out as apart of a warranty claim. Never called to confirm appointment, women answering the phones didn't know any details of the schedule. Once Joey was here he was informative however he didn't even leave my home in the same condition he found it, left all my outlet faces off. After reading all the 1 star reviews on YELP regarding her attitude I cannot understand for the life of me why she is still working for this company and not fired other than she is probably the owner or related to the owner.
