Chicken plate, rice and beans and garlic bread.
    De'Launa C.

Omg! So I'm from Miami and this is probably the closest thing to food in that area. Jabellz is Puerto Rican/Caribbean inspired cuisine and it is amazing. I ordered a chicken plate which came with a drink, white rice and beans, a side of onions/tomatoes and garlic bread all for $10. They give you the option to have your chicken cooked in bbq, spicy bbq or spicy teriyaki sauce so I opted to have mine on the side. And they give you a side of what we in Miami call Mayo-Ketchup. My food was out in less than 5 minutes. I hurried to my car and sat down to grub. Omg it smelled so good but the taste! Lawd have mercy. Everything was perfectly seasoned. The garlic bread was soft to bite but had the perfect crunch and the grilled chicken was boneless and juicy. I would Definitely go again, I plan to try everything on the menu. If this truck is in your area you will not be disappointed! Stop and have a bite! Also, customer service was superb!

Chicken kabobs, beans and rice. SO GOOD!

Found out about this for truck when I started working on Langley. Omigosh! It's so delicious. My favorites are the chicken kabobs, chicken bowls, empanadillias and the tacos. I try to hit them at least once a week. The staff is so nice, especially the young lady who is at the window. When she gives you your food she always says "ENJOY!" This is a must try!!

Service is super professional. I'm usually not a fan of food trucks but when I say Jabellz has better chicken/steak bowls than any other chain restaurant I AM NOT KIDDING. Their food is fresh and beyond delicious, they honor special instructions and make sure you get what you want! But let's be real, nothing in life is perfect. Here are the cons in addition to the pros. Pro = fresh and delicious Caribbean style food, Con = the wait time. Because the food is so amazing, there is a line. But on average; from the moment your order is placed, the wait it's no longer than 10 to 20 mins. BUT SO WORTH IT ~ THE BEST PART IS JABELLZ OFFERS CALL IN ORDERS!!! Which will knock out some of that wait time. Overall, the food is great great great great great! Don't believe me? Go try it yourself!!! :)

Ordered the chicken plate and empanadilla. Was done in 10 minutes and is Delicious!! Right on Langley AFB!

5 stars isn't enough to rate this place! The Carne Asada anything, tacos and bowls are so good! I love the tacos! Fresh and cooked to order. So glad they are on Langley. I would give them my money everyday if I could!!

The tripleta is a pretty bangin' sandwich l. Staff is nice and will help you through it's limited menu options if you need it.

This place is awesome! Real food and great people. But they need to do more stops at Fort Eustis.

Their dishes are a mix of Colombian, Puerto Rican and Mexican. Let's see how my first time went. Our table was already seated when I walked in. The decor inside was beautiful and spotless. On the TVs, they were showing the World Cup in action. The match was Panama versus England. Fun times if you're into soccer. After looking over the menu, I was ready to order. My selection was Pollo Hawaiiano, a dish popular in Colombia. It consists of grilled chicken, bacon, melted cheese and pineapple sauce. Refried beans and rice were the sides. The dish itself was fine. The chicken was two thin pieces and a slice of ham cooked well with melted cheese on top. It was interesting to have pineapple sauce covering the protein. I believe it was my second time having a Colombian dish (first being 2012) so I had to get used with all the ingredients coming together with every bite. The rice was cooked very well, but the refried beans weren't completely mashed and needed salt. I ate everything except the beans since I was getting full. For a first timer, I thought it was good. The dish didn't blow me away, but the service we receive was really good. So I'll give them another shot :)

Pre-pandemic, this was a place where we would have dine-in visits with friends of ours from a social group or just the two of us. It was probably close to a year since we last appeared so it was time to stop by. Similiar to the past visits, I called in our orders. They greeted me promptly when I walked in where there was only one table occupied. Quick and easy. For our orders, which both served as dinner and lunch for work at our respective sites, we chose their Cubano sandwich with our usual sides (fries for myself and plantains for Sophia). As always, the sandwich was pretty good packed with ham and roasted pork, pickles, cheese and mustard (both had no mayo). I would've liked for more fries in the box, but I had enough for both servings. La Pena Horeb came through once again. You know I'll be ordering takeout from here down the road. Till next time :)

We started off with the Pastel wrapped in banana leaves, Alcapurrias and relleno de papas. I give the pastel a 4.5 out of five. The relleno de papas a 4 out of five and the Alcapurrias a 3 out of 5. Keep in mind I am comparing this to my mother's home cooking. The pastel was almost perfect. The meat as seasoned very well but not as tender as what my mother used to make. The masa was perfect! The relleno de papas was seasoned very differently than what I am accustomed to but still very yummy. The Alcapurrias were lacking in flavor. My son ordered the Bistec Encebollado with Rice and beans and he was so happy that this dish was very close to our family recipe. My daughter in law ordered the Pernil sandwich which she absolutely loved. My son tasted it and said it was the best he'd ever eaten! My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich which he said had a Puerto Rican flair to it. Puerto Rican Pernil is much different than Cuban Roast Pork which is what he is used to as we live in Miami, FL I only had the appetizers as I was not too hungry to begin with but I was able to taste everything and this restaurant is being added to my favorites list! I will be coming here every time I visit my family. The service was quick and very friendly!

It was clean and nicely decorated. My friend and l visited on a early Wednesday evening. We were seated immediately. After being seated it did take a little while for someone to take our order. But it wasn't too bad. The menu had a lot of appealing options. Only select items had prices on them. For appetizers we chose the oxtail empanada with cheese and the larger potato ball. Drinks we had mango margaritas which were on a happy hour specials for 5.99 ( Happy Hour is 11 a.m. to 9 p.m daily!) The Trifongo consisted of 3 starches: mashed yuca, sweet plantain (maduros), and green plantain. The sweetness of the maduros gives a great touch. I guess this will be my go to dish here!
