The store is half and half. A majority is bought from an outsider distribution , which isn't local. Plus nothing is organic, sprayed with insecticides, fungicides, injected with nutrients. The store doesn't get fully rotated. Found so much of rotten fruits and veggies. The flies are disgusting too!! Besides the the few still sold here, nothing is local or locally grown. Eat some pesticides. Yumm. read more

The store is clean and neat but I don't seem to have great luck with the produce. The avocados are partially black inside half the time and the last time I got strawberries I found a tiny white worm in some of them. In all my life I have never found worms inside strawberries! The worm was still alive, too. Definitely makes me think twice before eating a berry without cutting it first. I do like the huge onions, though. (Review for Mentone location. It's a very small market with limited items. Now on that note, even though it's small, their items are always freshly picked and great deals. I come for the big avocados that come in a bag of about 6 for $3.50/bag. I also bought 2 GIANT leeks for $1! They had delicious fresh squeezed orange juice that I bought. I really enjoy that they change things up depending on what's in season. Love this little spot! read more

Great selection. I love their Cara Cara oranges. They have romanseco cauliflower / brocolli also. Pretty good taste. The lady at the counter said they are organic so even better. read more

An awesome fruit and vegetable stand featuring locally grown produce, raw honey and jams. I live in the San Bernardino Mountains so my options to buy locally grown produce are slim to none but right at the bottom of the mountains is this great vegetable stand market. Everything they sell is grown within 4 miles of the retail market and I am a big fan of buying local. The prices are awesome and everything is so fresh. read more

This may look like a regular produce stand, but it is much much more. The fruits and vegetables are grown really close by. And all of this excellent produce from Jacinto farms will turn your that boring dish you always make into a Michelin star quality meal. My girlfriend and I get produce here when we are in the area, and let me tell you, the tomatoes during late fall are amazing. The tomatoes we get in June are awesome too. Makes your pasta sauce the best pasta sauce and your tomato bisque the most awesome tomato bisque you've ever had. I have never had tomatoes so good before. We recently came back from Maui, and lo and behold Jacinto farms carries Maui onions. And they are so delicious. The Lamb Hass avocados are delicious and an incredible value. I have never gotten produce here that hasn't been good or the best I have ever had. I go to farmers markets, high end and low end grocers all over Southern California, and this is my favorite. Maybe my girlfriend and I are boring people, but we talk about this place all the time. read more

Friendly staff each time I have been there. Selection is very limited for a local farmer. Expected a bit more from this place...especially because the name is so well know in the area. Now that Stafford is closed, was hoping for a little more selection...Just a little ! Average everyday items is a need for the community. Not just specialties or seasonal things. read more

This is my go to spot for local, fresh produce. I've asked if their produce is genetically modified and they say, "no"--a big plus for me. They also have a beautiful selection of tomatoes- including heirloom--in season. They do use what they say is, "the smallest amount of pesticides possible" on their produce--that is the only downside. You can always find oranges, grapefruit, avocados, and lettuce. Nope. This review has nothing to do with their fruits and vegetables, because all that looked great! But, I am so disappointed. I moved into Redlands and was really excited about the local stands and businesses. I was planning on buying everything local. However I went into Jacinto Farms with my three-year-old granddaughter and picked out some fruit and vegetables. As my three-year-old granddaughter started dancing around because she had to go potty. I asked the girl at the counter if I could use the restroom real quick. She said no it's not for the public. I said not even for this little one? And she said no. Ummmm she's 3 years old. This is not a big corporation. This is supposed to be a friendly local fruit and vegetable business. Needless to say, I walked out and found myself at Stater Bros. down the street buying my fruits and vegetables, which I did not want to do. Stater Bros. had no problem letting my 3 years old use the restroom. So bummed, but Stater Bros. it is from now on. Won't do business like that. read more

Got lemons and raw honey to put in my tea (I'm fighting a cold.) Glad I stopped in, the staff were super friendly, the store was clean, and I learned there's another Jacinto's in Redlands on Brookside. Will be back! read more
