Wow, the prices have truly shot through the roof. I took fewer clothes than I did last time and it was 25% high. I just can't justify getting 3 jeans and four shirts washed and starched for 93.97. Their service seems to be good, but it sure isn't worth that kind of price. I understand that these are tough times and prices are rising. I dropped off five items for dry cleaning. The drive up feature is very nice especially with kiddos in the car. I did not have to wait which was nice. The turnaround time was about 36 hours. The convenience piece of the store is definitely a plus. The downside is the price and the quality. Just for reference I am attaching photos of the cost of each of my items. The dresses seem extremely high. One was just a casual woman's dress, sleeveless, and above the knee. The other was a dress for a three year old, 100% polyester. They do not have a price sheet, so hopefully this will help others gauge the cost to use this place. I was also a little disappointed in a couple of the items. One of the sweaters seemed extremely pilled, more than I remember, and one of the dresses had some unwanted creases. read more

I normally have no problems here, so today was a strange experience. I'd give a 4 for my experiences over the past year but this girl today was out there so I'll go with the average. I got off work at 5pm and came here to drop off some items. When I arrived I walked in and no one was there to greet me so I went ahead and put my items on the counter to sort and count them. I figured the attendant was in the bathroom or something. No big deal. I was completely alone in the store for about 5 minutes until finally the lady walked in the front door. I greeted her and before saying hi she tried to scold me saying next time there is a sign on the door that I shouldn't come in, as if to say it was my fault she wasn't where she was supposed to be, doing the job she gets paid to do. I told her the door was unlocked and I didn't see a sign but to her point there was a small gray post-it note on the glass. She admitted that she forgot to lock the door and went on to say that she was "all the way over there", pointing somewhere in the parking lot, and that she saw me and I made her nervous... she quickly added because I'm a tall guy and she's a little girl. I am a project manager at Dell and was dressed business casual so I can only imagine how I made her nervous. I don't want to think too hard about what she might have meant. I even told her that I had been there three times in the past week but she didn't seem to remember even though she was there every time. Not surprising since she forgot to lock the door when leaving the store unattended for so long. The rest of the transaction was awkward to say the least. I was irritated by then and she could probably tell. To top it off, she called later and left a message saying that she couldn't clean one of my items and that it had to be professionally dry cleaned. I can't even. I just hope that she isn't there when I go back. Normally I have a good experience here but I won't come back to this location. Or if Jack Brown Cleaners really isn't a professional dry cleaning service then I suppose I had it all wrong to begin with. read more

So at the end of winter last Feb I brought this in for a final season cleaning so I can store it for the spring and summer After removing it from the Plastic and hangar I saw the exact same stains that were on their when I first dropped it off. What's worse is that my jacket smelled like my cologne from last February. That basically means they didn't do Jack to my jacket. That's probably by its called Jacks cleaners. I laid all that money for them to do nothing!! I give this place a ZERO star rating for the ZERO quality and service they provided for my jacket!!! read more

They didn't charge me properly for Tuesday specials and two of the three items were wrinkled upon receipt. My handheld steamer could have done the trick for free instead of wasting $50. read more

Coat was in mint condition, zero permanent problems with my coat except it was covered in dog fur, I walk in and they tell me they might not be able to clean it. Excuse me? Just use a lint roller on it and clean after. Is this store just completely inept to not have and use lint rollers there? These people don't want to work and it's obvious they just want an easy day. Hell using a lint roller was a majority of the reason I wanted to get it cleaned, I don't want to do a majority of the work, why do you even exist if We (the customer) doing 80% of the work anyway? Took my comforter here and when I picked it up, it was ripped and missing stuffing. When I called to complain they told me I could bring in my comforter and they would buy it from me which is the weirdest policy I have ever heard of. The comforter I had they don't make anymore so I didn't want to give it up. They also said once I brought it in, it would take two weeks to get a check which would leave me without anything for me bed. Wanda was EXTREMELY rude and unwillingly to work with me and hung up on me. This place has 1 star for a reason, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! read more

I needed to find a new dry cleaner closer to work. I previously used American Cleaners in HEB in Round Rock and never really thought much about dry cleaning. Drop off clothes, they are returned cleaned and you pay. But they closed. So this Jack Brown cleaners. They do not tag any clothing items except on outside of the plastic bag when you pick them up. This makes me worry they could lose items and more cynically makes me think they don't even clean the clothes. I have sent in items with light stains, food spills let's be honest and the are not removed. The real issue I have is they are so expensive! I bring in items on their Tuesday special day and pants are $6.45 per pair, sweaters $13.50 each. A knit dress was also over $14. These prices seem way more than I used to pay. For not remarkable cleaning I am going to keep looking for a dry cleaner closer to work. read more

The customer service at the store in Hutto is absolutely awful! I've been a loyal Jack Brown Cleaners customer for years, but I won't be going back. The manager at the store in Hutto, Wanda, was beyond rude, and acts like she could care less about her job, or about helping customers. I dropped off a pair of she's to have them repaired. When I got there, I had to wait around for her to finish smoking her cigarette before she would help me. I was then told that the shoes would be ready on the 21st. When I called on the 22nd to find out where they are, she copped an attitude and told me that shoes are never done within a week, and that they always take longer. Well the why the heck does my ticket say they will be done on the 21st?! I needed them before leaving on vacation, so if I had known they were going to take more than a week, I wouldn't have left them in the first place. Now I can't take my shoes with me on my trip. As though that wasn't enough, she then flat out lied to me and told me that her copy of my ticket says the shoes would be ready on the 25th. Odd that her copy looks different than mine, unless she did something to mess with it. Bottom line is, not only do they not get your stuff done by the date they gaurentee it, but then they are rude and lie to your face on top of it. read more

I am beyond upset right now. By far and away the most expensive dry cleaners I have ever been to. 4 shirts and 2 suits for 50$!!! And they came back just as wrinkled as the day I brought them in. Not only that, one of the shirts came back with the bent collar. These shirts were brand new, and it doesn't look like they did anything to them. I hate to write a bad review but way to expensive and didn't get what I asked for at all. I took 4 pairs of pants in asked for HEAVY starch and I get them back and it's pretty much like they ironed them and hung them up no starch at all and charged me 31 dollars and change. Would not recommend any one going here to get heavy starch in pants. Definitely not going back not worth the money was a complete waist of money and time!!!!!!!! read more

I received a text message from someone at JACK BROWN cleaners, that apparently my clothes were going to be "given to charity" if not picked up at a designated time chosen by the manager. This place is over priced for starters. I took my jeans and a few shirts. I was expecting "Jack Brown" to do a every good job for the price I had to pay. My Jeans I asked for heavy starch. Only one pair of jeans were done the way I asked. The quality of work I received could have been achieved at my home. My shirts were no different. You would think that shirts coming from cleaners would have that crisp look to them. All my shirts did not even look like they were pressed. When I arrived at home and further inspected my clothes, one of my shirts had not even been pressed. I took it back to the store and asked for a refund. That is how mad I was about their service. I will not be going back to store. I tired to call the corporate only to be told if I have a complaint to contact for location. read more
