I have dropped off my suite here several times, and always get them freshly serviced with a return time of 24 hours. They also offer an after hours drop-off, which I find very unique. I came to the cleaners for the first time. I brought a jacket and a sweater. They gave me a receipt for two items with no identification of what I was leaving, this is unnerving, because if they lose my item, I have no proof of the value of the item I am dropping off. I'm dropping off a down jacket and a cashmere sweater. They have 24 hour service which is nice. When I picked up my jacket and my sweater, I was surprised to find that the total was $31, for two items; the jacket was 20 and the sweater was 11. That is the most expensive dry cleaner I've ever been to, and I moved from Orange County California! They did a fine job dry cleaning them, so that is good. however, I refuse to pay that much money to have things dry cleaned when there are so many other options out there. This is a good place to go if you need something the next day because they have 24 hour service and they have a shoot where you can drop your item after hours. The lady who worked here was very nice and helpful. I won't be back because of the prices, and because of the fear of losing a piece of expensive clothing, and having no proof of what it was and what the value is. read more

I came in and asked if they could fix a zipper on my gym bag. They told me they would need to send it away to get it fixed. I told them that was fine. I got a call a few days later... I was surprised. Told me it was good to go. I show up, without even thinking I grab it and as I'm walking outside to the car.. I checked to see if it was fixed. I WAS NOT. I just paid $22 for them to look at it? I went back in and asked why it wasn't fixed. The girl behind the counter said that she was told it was fixed. I disagreed and asked for someone to have it fixed, the next shift chick walked in and joined the conversation. She grabbed the bag messed with the zipper up and down and then proceeded to tell me that " there's nothing wrong with the zipper fixed it it zips fine." I laughed and I told him that I'll just take it somewhere else and I want my money back. They told me that I needed to come back when the manager was there to talk to the manager. I'm finding a strange pattern in most of these reviews that the manager is never there... I came back the next day.. and to my surprise.. the manager was not there. The girl I talked to told me that she wasn't allowed to give any money out unless the manager was there. I told her I wasn't leaving until I got my money back. She proceeded to say that she was going to get in trouble if she gave out any money. I stared at her, not moving. She then said "SIGH - I'll just give you the money from my own purse. They aren't gonna give me the money for this." I don't know what kind of business this management is running let alone teaching its employees about Customer Service but they should go next-door to H-E-B and learn something clearly these reviews are pretty accurate. read more

So we had issues with the Jack Brown cleaners in Hutto, so we decided to bring it to this location. It turns out that they are worst then the other place !! My shirts that I had dry cleaned they came back all wrinkled and 2 of them have stains !! Switched to this location for my dry cleaning needs and it has been pretty food so far. No real issues pretty quick service also. Been using jack browns doe the past 6-7 years for my dry cleaning needs and overall it's always been really good. dropped off total of 15pieces of cloths, came back to pick up and they only had 12. Talked to their manager about my missing cloths and she insisted I go home and confirm the cloths that are missing. I come back next day to let them know about the missing cloths and the staff was very rude, arrogant, asked me to leave the store and go look for my cloths at home and even called the cops when I refused to leave without a solution to my missing clothes. I am going to make sure I press charges and get my reimbursement! I will never recommend going to this store! read more

We have used Jack Brown Cleaners for the 8 years we've lived here and have never had a problem until this week. They lost/misplaced 2 of my husband's shirts and have not been responsive as to a solution. I tried to pay for shirts received but they said I had to pay total amount. I was not willing to pay for shirts they lost. Solution is still pending. I would suggest always counting laundry items and have them give a receipt upon delivery. I have always put laundry in one of the orange bags and dropped off. Not sure I will be doing that again. read more

Never had a problem using Jack Brown in RR for over a year now, when they break a button they fix it for free.. even when I break one. A lot of people complain when they have issues, but I think y'all should see how many people come here. read more

If there was a negative star I would put it at -5. I have brought my cleaning here for the past 2 years. Costly but I needed a dry cleaners and it was convenient. I've had 3 instances where things were damaged, belts lost or item not returned. The last lost belt from my sweater was the last straw. I left a note with the manager no one got back to me after she said they would check with the main facility. Questioned me if it was in my receipt and yes it was marked as having a belt. No call nothing. Went back and left another message and no return call. Overpriced, unresponsive and just plain horrible. I know every place has their ups and downs but this is ridiculous! read more

06/05/2019. -- Dropped off work shirts, came back 1 day later at 6:30am (...because the hours on the window say "Mon - Fri, 6:30am to 7:00pm"), sleepy red eyed employee shows up at 7:10am to open store, bad attitude, bad customer service skills, bad breath, treats me LIKE I'M THE BURDEN IN HER LIFE, over charges me for 5 cotton shirts (other cleaners costs me no more than $10 bucks, JB cleaners charged me $24.50), and to top it all off, JACK BROWN CLEANERS LAZY EMPLOYEE makes me late for work, because at my job--- I ACTUALLY HAVE TO SHOW UP ON TIME. Ok so I wanted my husband's weekend shirts ironed. I didn't care if they were washed or pressed. I asked for the least expensive option. They said the only option was to have them pressed at $6 and change each one. When I picked them up, I asked again, because it did seem expensive. Turns out that for $3 each, you can have them laundered and ironed. Of course, now I was told nothing can be done at this point. Really upsetting. read more

The Owners should be ashamed of themselves, they ruin clothes and do not take responsibility for these actions. Anyone in Round Rock or Georgetown TX be sure not to take your clothing to any Jack Brown Cleaners, I took in brand new shirts and after pointing out defects all they said was we wont charge you but we wont replace them. They have horrible customer service. The owners of the location on University next to HEB don't care about the quality of work they put out at all. I've tried to use JB in RR several times and have finally decided it's just not in them. I've shared my concern with the quality of the cleaning and they have been totally indifferent. RIP-OFF ALERT: I dropped off suits and dresses in an express bag (yellow bag with an account #). -I asked the woman how much the dresses would be, told her they are ankle length, and without looking at them she said they would be the price of a dress, which on the window said $11.99. -I asked for a receipt, so that I would know how much I was being charged when I picked the clothes up. She said they do not give receipts for drop-off. Why not - "We just don't." -My wife picked them up several days later, and of course they charged $40 per dress, 3 dresses. She said that was way more than what she was expecting, but she payed the ransom to get our clothes back. When she got home, she asked me, "Honey why didn't you get a receipt when you dropped them off?" "They wouldn't give me one!" The person my wife talked to while picking up actually told her we should have gotten a receipt. -She went back they next day to complain, and they basically said they cannot change the price and have to call the district manager and get the nuclear launch codes to refund any money. This place is a rip-off. If they had given a receipt at drop-off, I would have got one. If I had gotten a receipt at drop-off, I would have known the price. These guys are nuts! Lol. Golf shirts polo shirts are $6.80 per shirt!!! The laundered shirts for $2.39 are only button downs. $6.80!!! Per shirt!!!! Any place in town would be high priced at $3.00. These people are crazy. Literally have talked to everyone at work and they all said yea they got us too but we will never go again. Even their own employee said she would never get her own laundry done there at these prices!!!lol. Crazy. Jack Brown you get people once then they never come back. I dropped off 4 shirts and 2 pants. My receipt noted the pants would be dry-cleaned and the shirts would be laundered. When I picked them up, both pants and shirts were dry-cleaned and I was charged as such. I asked the lady why were they all dry-cleaned when it was specified only the two pants were to be dry-cleaned. She asked for my dropped off receipt, so I went to the car to get it. I gave it to her, and she didn't have an explanation. Said she was new, and I could talk to the manager in the morning. (Like I'm going to make a trip to talk to her!) If the shirts had to be dry-cleaned, that would have been fine. But they should have called me. There was no apologizes. Just "come back in the morning and talk to the manager." ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I dropped off clothes on saturday and our ticket said they would be ready today by 6pm. I went initially a little early and the clerk said they were running behind and the shipment hadn't come in yet- ok fine, so I went next door to HEB and came back. THEN she tells me that my ticket has been changed in the system and they won't be ready until tomorrow! WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME. THEN when I asked to speak to a manager, I was informed she was sick and there is no manager to speak with until WEDNESDAY. Expensive, mediocre cleaning for tough stains. But wait, there's more! Found out two of my dress shirts were replaced by others that were a different brand (way lower quality) of the same color! It was from a big batch of dry cleaning I'd picked up, and didnt notice until weeks later. Threw the shirts out and wont bother going here again. read more

This cleaners is very expensive and the lady working there is very rude! My husband paid a lot to get his clothes laundered and cleaned. He picked them up and was just about knocked over by the chemical smell on the clothes. Smells like diesel fluid. There is no number on the website to the main facility other than the store itself....why? Well, we don't recommend this store at all! Very unhappy!
