You won't get a good deal, you'll have terrible customer service experience. Your car will NOT be fixed on time or maybe even correctly. Don't do it to yourself. I continue to have bad experiences with JDA in Upper Sadle River. It seems my last post was lost so I'll do it again. I purchased a new 2019 S5 in 2020 and got a tire and rim plan at that time. I brought the car in about a month ago and asked to fix a scratch on the rim. A week later i returned and drove the car out of the dealership. Within 400 yards the car lit all warning lights on the dash board. I was afraid so i pulled over and called them. They told me to call a tow truck rather than just coming to pick me up 400 yards away. I have no time to wait for tow trucks so i drove back slowly not knowing what to expect. Turns out they put the tire and rim from another model car on my car so the computer errored. No QA. no apology other than to say it will not happen again. Even though i originally left the car for a week it took them another week to fix it. Move to xmas 2020 I got a flat tire, suspiciously in the same place they partially fixed my rim last visit. The dealership was back ordered so it took them 2 weeks to get me a tire! They furnished a loaner right away. Not their fault. My service advisor Is excellent! I called a few times during the time they had the car since they do not initiate updates. My service advisor said she never received a message i called. This speaks to poor communication at the dealer side! After 2 weeks i picked up my car to find the tire they replaced, with all my rims terribly dirty. The tire that was replaced had grease all over it. The rim is blemished. Seems they have no QA or pride in their work. I met Marcos, their new service manager who was understanding and said he would fix everything. We'll see. I will call him today for him to fix the rim dirt. read more

Hector was quick and wonderful, but the female front staff is very obnoxious and unprofessional, talking about how beautiful they are (they were really the opposite, unfortunately), and making fun of other customers while saying "we are so mean!" all while looking like overaged women with a lot of mileage. For an Audi dealership selling the idea of luxury, having women of this class talking about how attractive they are and how unattractive the customers are- who are actually able to afford the cars (and not have to wear hilariously fake eyelashes and sit behind the counter for what's likely minimum wage)- this is very unbecoming. read more

Did 50k service. Here are the negatives and positives. Negatives: Although it was supposed to be 50k svcs, they simply only do an oil change and don't do anything else listed on the 50k to-do items. Yet, the svc rep is bold enough to try to sell me other services. - I had the appointment yet waited longer than 2 hours past promised time while all the other customers who showed up after me are all done and left. Remember I was there for 50k they only did a mere oil change so don't even try so other customers had quicker services. Sure tire air fill-ups for all of them right? - all are so overpriced compared to other Audi dealers in the area. Well, read below if this higher cost is justified. - This was by far a cheap and rundown Audi dealer in my lifetime across multi states. If this is what Audi dealers are in NJ, thank you but no. Literately the worst customer service experienced. My car has been sitting there for 3 days (just sitting as they haven't even given me the diagnostic), I have been told 6 times that I will be getting a call back and never did. The one guy Wesley told me that my car will be ready in a week without me having agreed to anything, then he told me he confused me with another customer, so they didn't even know who I was. I asked to speak with the manager and of course, he didn't answer. We were shopping around for Audi Q8. We happened to be in the Area and got in to see their prices and inventory. They happened to have the car, and the manager reassured us that they don't charge Market Adjustment Price, which is great saving. I know not every dealership charges that, but many do. So we decided to finance a car there if out of the door price and monthly payments would be good. Danielle, sale rep, was helping us, she was polite but super super pushy, preparing all sales paper, without us even agreeing to buy, as we didn't even know the total price and monthly payments. They made us sign the buy out papers in order to get the final price on the car, never had that before, they also ran out credit score for financing, which we also didn't expect as we didn't even agree on buying the car there. It's quite understandable that you want to make sure that you are getting a good deal and only after they should run the credit score and sign the papers. So they got us the buy out papers, where there was a very strange charge over $2,1700 for Contract agreement. They failed to explain what it was. It wasn't document preparation, as it was a separate charge for it. Then the guy from Finance came out and was trying to sell us a " very good deal" with humongous monthly payment. The highest proposal than any other dealerships we went to, much higher. We left saying that we have to decide. Mean while looking for other options and other places. Daniel kept emailing and sending texts. Whereas I replied to them and she didn't reply to my texts. Then she called my husband , he asked her again about that Contract agreement fee, again she didn't explained what it was. We offered a higher down payment so the monthly payments would be lower, And the manager said that they would not agree to that. I was shocked - it shouldn't matter how much we put down , that's insane. Of course they wanted their terms. And then all of a sudden, Daniele said that the car is sold, right then during phone conversation. That's a big LIE!!! We got a car from another dealership, with no Market Adjustment price, No contract agreement fee, with higher down payment and much, much lower monthly payments than in Jack Daniels Audi. read more

I bought a brand new 2022 Q3 and the issues that the car been having is unbelievable the car only has 13k miles on it and I needed to buy new tires, alignment, and balance and the car was there for a week. Not the mention I attended multiple recalls about the MMI screen. Also, the screen was turning off and on and I told the manager of services and he checked it out turns out that the car had burned cables that caused it to turn off and on. 2 months go by me thinking the issue is fixed, then I turn on my car on and the SOS emergency light was on and the MMI screen wasn't turning on at all. So I proceed to call the dealership and explained my situation and the manager laughed at like I was joke and I was very disrespected by it. I bought my car from here back in 2020 as basically new (18,000 miles on it). I brought my car in for a "quick system update" and was told it would be ready that day. When I went to pick up my car, it took them over 30 minutes to look for my keys. The mechanic returned without them and stated that my car was not ready for pickup yet even though I received 2 voicemails stating otherwise. It has been a MONTH and they have not provided me any updates regarding their reasoning for the delay or status of my vehicle. My "service coordinator" fails to return my phone calls or is "absent". Imagine having to sell your Audi only 5 months after owning it because of the horrific service at the dealership. Multiple trips to get the same issue fixed. Having to get management involved just so that it can get fixed. A car that only had 11k miles needed an entire suspension replacement. Halfass work done every time. Literally have found pieces of wiring left in the car, panels not properly sealed, just a mess. I would like to start off by saying I had an amazing sales experience at Jack Daniels Audi in Upper Saddle River. I leased my vehicle in October 2021. However I am not happy about receiving a phone call marked "potential spam" at 8:00 am yesterday morning. The caller said that he was calling from JD Audi and his records indicate that I am due for service. I advised him that I have had vehicle for less than 3 months and it has less than 2,000 miles. It's not due for service until October 2022. He continued to ask to make a future appoint for June or July. He was less than professional. He finally acknowledged that he was calling from a firm hired by Jack Daniels Audi. What was the purpose of getting the My Audi app to schedule appointments and receive service notifications? I watched all of mr horn's testimony last night. Awful, unbelievable are two words that come to mind. I outright own my 2012 a3 tdi, I had also owned the q7 tdi that I recently traded in. Your companies request for patience is ludicrous. I am concerned that on my long daily drives with lots of hills that I am indeed spewing 40x the allowable emission. I want to return my car - I am willing to trade it in for another Audi. I have been a loyal customer and bought 2 diesel audi's at significant increase in expense to me for the purpose of them being green and efficient. Your request for patience is comical. I wrote a post on the Facebook page of my local Audi dealer that was not inappropriately worded or inaccurate - I did not have them or you contacted by a lawyer, although that's quite possible. One week after my post on jack daniel audi's Facebook site I looked back and saw that the review I gave (with a generous 3 star rating - because there are some good people there) was deleted. My post was deleted. Is that how you value your customers feedback? I previously did not comment that I traded in my q7 diesel because it had perpetual electrical issues that drained the battery inexplicably and then would prevent the car from starting at the most in-opportune times. Like when you had to get to work or when it was pouring rain with our newborn going to the doctor, I did not comment on how the explanations for the electrical issues were far from re-assuring as to the long term reliability of this car. So I went to trade it in - as unpredictable, expensive electrical fixes was not something I wanted to have in my life while using this car to get my family where we needed to go. I did not comment (as hard as it was not to) on how when I brought the q7 to trade in to bmw they offered me 30k for it, but then while shopping around and trying to show my loyalty to both the brand and dealer the next day jack Daniels offered me only 24k for the same car, all while looking at me in the face and saying thanks for be a loyal customer. Boy did your sales agents jaw drop when I told him bmw was willing to give me 30k on the day before. He went and found a way to match that with other incentives not initially offered. Very crooked. That was ridiculously upsetting. But I chose not to post that. That's right my Audi dealer offered me 6k less for the car then did bmw and Volvo on the same day. So much for your bs loyalty program. I also did not comment about the tire and rim insurance warranty that you so aggressively up-sell in your business office is a total rip off. It has so many hidden loopholes that will ever prevent real payout. After hearing the testimony last night and reading endless articles on the deception and the marketing and up charging surrounding this deception I feel awful. I want out of my a3 diesel and your companies request for patience and to ask me to continue spewing out 40x the emissions on my long, up and down commute is laughable and upsetting. Your solution to retrofit with a adblue tank won't work, is not feasible and is impractical. Your lies are many here and ultimately you have to suck it up and make it right. Buy back my car and reward my loyalty appropriately or I will post this everywhere I can and either independently sue or join one of the many class actions. Your request for patience is again laughable and hiding behind the epa's statement that the cars safe to drive is a joke. We live in New York and work full time so I spoke to Genesis who made it easy for us to put a hold on the vehicle until we could make the trip to Jersey. The day I went in to test drive the vehicle was already waiting outside and the sales girl Kirsy was very attentive on the vehicle presentation. It was an overall smooth experience with Jack Daniels and the finance manager Matt was excellent with the great approval he got for my husband. BUY A CAR from SPIRO Milliaressis - 201-796-8500 X1107, the service is excellent and the employees are even better!!! I was searching for a CPO Audi and was in NYC, so I reached out to many of the local dealerships. I had to call John (the Internet manager) twice, and he then connected me with Spiro. The car I was looking at on the web was SOLD, but he found another that met my requirements while I was on the phone, and told me he wanted to sell it tonight. I had heard that from many other dealerships and thought this was BS also, but it was not. We worked together to get to a fair price (Spiro started high and I started low) and let me know he had to get it approved. He did and called me right back, and made arrangements to pick me up at the subway stop by the George Washington Bridge. (I bought the car at the FairLawn, NJ location) He drove me to the dealership, and showed me the car (there were probably 5 guys working on detailing it). It was clean, in good condition, and looked great. I test drove it, he showed me how everything worked, completed the paperwork, and I drove it back to Chicago. I really enjoyed spending time with Spiro, as I said he was fair and knowledgeable. He is also a funny person. Everyone I worked with at the dealership was GREAT, and I only wish I lived near by because I would definitely go here for service. Well done!!! read more

I was interested in a car I saw online. I contacted them through the web and received a call and text from Danielle. She was extremely nice and courteous. We went back and forth all day and I called my bank and got a 19000$ loan, the car was roughly 18495$. The first thing that turned me off is that she said " so you are going to bring a 20k check and the rest you will put on your credit cards" no I will not use a credit card. From that point I knew they were a shady group. They she tells me they don't accept and checks other than a cashiers check. I call my bank and they state it will be a bank check not a cashiers so I let her know and she said ok great I will write up the purchase order. I thought is was cashiers checks only, LIAR! Then she texts and says someone else had reserved the car and she's sorry. I felt it was a lie and trying to get me in a fake bidding war. I didn't bite. Then later in the day she texts me saying that her boss is fighting with the guy now and it looks like I can have the car lol. So the next day I look on the site again and see the car price was raised 1500$ and she tells me they did work on it. That was a lie I'm sure. So I call and spoke to her and she hung up on me and I called back to speak to the manager and was even more rude. This place is a typical dealership that should be on rt 46 in little ferry because they are scammers. Stay far away from Jack Daniels. read more

They sell used cars that break down in less than 3 weeks from purchase. They are basically mechanically totaled cars that CANNOT BE REPAIRED. Awful, awful experience with this dealership -- review your purchase agreement with a magnifying glass To start the sales rep couldn't answer a single question about the vehicle that I test drove. A direct quote from my test drive "I don't know anything about cars but I know how to sell them".... great. I had done enough research on the car prior to coming in that I ultimately purchased it regardless as the price seemed ok based on specs. I was buying the car without financing but still got the typical used car dealer strong arm about financing with them which I declined. Likewise they pushed an extended warranty pretty hard which I declined. I was also offered (AND DECLINED) an additional service of "window registration etching" supposedly to prevent theft? Complete nonsense. I realized after the fact that it was indeed added to my bill anyways, in small font (for $200) -- You have to actively check a box that says "decline" otherwise they default to you wanting it because they need to make money. There was no "accept" or "agree" option, just a small box that says decline buried in the pile of paperwork they pass you page by page when you buy. The fun doesn't stop -- The real reason for my review: I paid Audi USR a 493$ "Document fee" & a $140 Registration/Title fee only for them to pull a former address from the DMV system (one that I never provided them) and used that for my title and registration. I contacted them several months after purchase as I had still not received a title like I was promised only to discover the reason for the delay. Yep, they mailed my title to a former address and it was thrown out. This resulted in me having to drive 5 hours back to NJ from out of state and pay even more to have the DMV issue me a duplicate title. Typical run-around when I asked for the document/title/duplicate title and scam "glass etching" fees I discovered to be refunded. Avoid this sleazy place like the plague. read more

STAY AWAY!!! Very bad experience. Negotiated a pre-owned A3 and was intentionally mis-informed ..... by the saleswoman that all was in order for me to pick up vehicle the following morning. After rearranging/scrambling my busy work schedule only to find out that the very busy Finance Manager had yet to process anything. My issue was that she LIED to me not the busy Finance Manager. I have excellent Tier 1 credit yet offered a horrible rate (6%) which, by some miracle, was reduced by about 1.5%, in an effort to finalize the sale. A week after purchasing my car, the key is constantly not recognized by the vehicle. They do nothing about it except say "I bought a used car". The used car that only came with 1 key. The new key should have been available and programmed before I ever took the car home. Instead everything is our fault not theirs. What an absolute joke. I will never purchase from here again. To have these issues a week after taking the car is a disgrace. Every time you return the loaner car they will charge you an insane amount for used fuel. Their "system" determines how much fuel should be in the car at the time of return. So say you used up fuel to drive roughly 10miles, the system determines atleast 2+ gallons of gas and charges you for that. Seems like the mileage on loaner cars is really poor or are they saying Audi mileage is terrible! read more

I was a repeat customer of this dealership and can honestly say I am disappointed this time around. Being an advocate of Audi's, I choose this place as a starting point as I was looking for a new car. Audi Makes terrific cars but when choosing between these brands like these its the overall experience that really brings it home. The sales rep I dealt with couldn't accurately read the consumer and was more interested in showing his alpha male ego. When the car is the main reason I am already in the door there no need to waste time trying to sell me on the car or yourself. Told him upfront I am looking to sign day off but he wanted to play the back and forth game and up-sell. Truthfully the price was fine but he attitude turned me off so I walked out and drove down the street to the BMW dealership since I was annoyed. Test drove a BMW and was actually impressed. Ended up picking up a fully loaded convertible BMW for about 2 more per month more than the model Audi I was looking at. Things really turned out for the best because the opened up the BMW experience for me that I wrote off in the past. This is a lesson for Audi and particularly Jack Daniels, a good sales rep can make or break your company. Not all individuals are looking for the cheapest price tag but rather the overall brand experience. In Jack Daniels the feeling with that particular rep is that you need to ask to give them your business where as prestige BMW you feel like your business is welcome. Once this lease is over I am not sure I will even go back to Jack Daniels, if I want another Audi I will look at the other dealerships in the area. read more

So my five week old Q7 couldn't remove the snow and ice properly during a recent storm. I had to keep pulling over to wipe the windshield down so I could see. Upon inspection of the blades, I noticed the wipers were mangled due to heavy ice accumulation. Surprising because I had the front defroster on the whole day I was driving the vehicle. This morning, I went to service and spoke with Dan Grifin and he quickly dismissed me by telling me that wipers weren't covered under warranty. He took a look at the blades and said "yep, these are not going to wipe properly. Sorry". I could understand if this was a five month-old vehicle, but five weeks? Come on. He told me to go to parts and buy new blades for $80. Since my hands were tied, I had no other options but to buy them. So this is it for Jack Daniels. I cannot deal with the incompetence and attitudes of these guys. I'm disputing the charge on my Amex and will find another Audi dealer to work with. Pathetic. Oh, I also emailed Dan a few weeks ago for door trim piece that wasn't properly repaired and he never responded. I don't think this kid cares about his job and his customers. read more

My sales person CC was sugary sweet calling me on the phone emailing me with just friendly reminders. The problem was he tried to hard and manipulated numbers to try to get me to buy a car. I am leasing my 2nd Q5 with Jack Daniels Saddle River. My first experience was with Cole, who was fabulous! My second lease, unfortunately, was during Covid and I was told Cole was no longer there. I dealt with Keith, the GM. Definitely not the experience I had with Cole! - Waiting 6+ weeks for them to still pay off the balance of my previous lease - They ran through an EZ Pass when delivering my car and I received a $50 ticket, still waiting for a call back from Audi SR after I asked them to pay the ticket - Had to service the car after one week so made an appointment with service, they never showed up to get the car, said they'd come first thing next morning. Waited another day, they finally showed up that evening. No call. - Car was dirty when delivered back to me after service Called Keith to tell him about all the above, not even an "I'm sorry" Will definitely not be going back for my 3rd car :( read more
