Generally always good for fast food, however in my past experience the grilled sourdough burger always had the bread grilled, not dry and cold. Had I not driven back to hotel I would have taken it back. read more

Horrible just horrible. My wife and I stopped by on a Sunday morning and placed our order at the drive thru. We pulled up and paid then sat there for nearly 20 minutes. I knocked on the window and the kid at the window admitted he was new and the one other employee didn't know how to cook well. I asked for my money back and left as did the 3 cars trapped behind us. I don't appreciate ordering a meal and sitting down to eat and find yet again its been shorted on the ingredients. 3 separate visits my family has ordered the Triple Bonus Jack combos. Each time we received Double Jack combos at the Triple price. When I returned to complain in person, NO member of management was at the location, and the employees wouldn't even give me their names. Some BS about privacy issues. I am not about to drive back into Anacortes to deal with a manager. The employees didn't even take my contact information to pass on to Management. Look, I'm not particularly proud of this decision. But living and dying by the ferry schedule, you just don't mess around with timing. When you spent way too long looking for ice because the first place you checked was out, and you're only left a few minutes to get food in a hurry, and you need a drive-thru because COVID, then you have a real recipe for a trip to the ol' Jack. It's been a few years, and I don't really know what their "thing" is anymore. Ya, burgers, but I recall seeing some weird stuff on the menu. After some contemplation I went with a chicken sandwich and you know what? I ain't mad. It was fast, it was drive-thru, and it was a totally passable sandwich. It's a nice building--I'm not sure how long it's been here. On other trips when I have a minute, I seek out the smaller shops not right there on Commercial. Trash. Wanted something quick at noon on a Saturday and nobody was there. Sat in the drive-thru for a few minutes till I realized that there wasn't anybody there. All the light were on so no indicators that it was closed. Waste of time. read more

I receive little service and no food. Which is shocking after a pleasant encounter. I asked for a refund after 30 minutes of waiting for my order and I was told a manager would have to approve the refund because the staff was not trained. I am going back to the store with the hope of receiving a refund. I am local and I will not be providing business to this place until there are signs of new/competent management. read more

Very poor. I ordered a very basic order. Two tacos with meat and cheese only and a small nugget. THERE WAS LETTUCE EXTRA SAUCE THE TACOS WERE EXTREMELY GREASY AND SO WERE THE NUGGETS. On top of this it took about 20 minutes to receive my order and the damn tacos weren't even fresh...Absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous to ruin such an easy order and waste my entire lunch!!! Well it's just a chain restaurant but each chain as you well know is individually run in this particular one is run pretty well all the employees seem pretty happy and everybody's got a nice attitude the place is kept very clean it seems like they change the oil on the fries and onion rings a lot because it taste really fresh and their hamburgers are spot on if you're in Anacortes and you don't have any other choice it's a great burger and onion rings are awesome read more

Jack-in-the-Box Anacortes is awesome! The food was awesome, The hashbrowns are perfectly crispy and absolutely melt in your mouth! The breakfast omelette honestly was just as good as anywhere! I think it's called breakfast scramble but it's really an omelette! And the sausage links are nice and crispy and they have a maple syrup flavor to them! The hashbrowns are completely divine! I swear I am a hash brown aficionado, LOL and Jack-in-the-Box has the best hashbrowns ever! The hashbrowns are great at all of the Jack-in-the-Box is everywhere now they have changed their recipe. We love breakfast at Jack-in-the-Box! It's just about the only fast food we eat. The young man named Kale it's completely wonderful kind and friendly and welcoming and so appreciated! read more

Look: it's a Jack in the Box. We all know what we're getting into! But maybe it was the warm car in freezing cold weather, maybe it was making it to the ferry with time to spare, but this absolutely hit the spot. Staff was lovely, and fresh curly fries are hard to beat. A completely serviceable stop on the way to the islands, and definitely deserving of a boost to that three star rating. read more

I've enjoyed the value one would expect here from an average Jack in the Box. Often times you get a better deal than you do at McDonald's. This location frequently gets my order wrong and I don't like scraping the mayonnaise off my burger. It's still a cheap satisfying meal though so I still come here occasionally. read more

Anacortes WA Zero stars Awful place with no compassion for humanity they have maggots in the drains, I would know I cleaned them...probably the one and only person who ever deep cleaned that filthy place, they do not care about employees whatsoever....an employee's mother was in the hospital passing away and the gm had the audacity to tell them they could not leave work and asked "what does that have to do with jack in the box", they also promote by sexual favors....they do not clean the soda machines ever, not once cleaned out the freezer or refrigerators, they stage proper conditions for the health inspector and know when they are coming. They lie about promoting. They leave food out at night, they claim everything is made to order when they hold meat, and eggs for hours. They had an entire crew walk out for a reason..... read more

Checked in to my hotel right next door to my motel in Anacortes and was not served by Jack n the Box employees because I did not have a car! I Ubered in to assist Shell refinery. I had been traveling for 14 hours and explained this to the employees and only wanted a hamburger but was turned away because I had NO car! They blamed their manager who was not there to talk to, for leveling this decree preventing PAYING CUSTOMERS from buying her products. They did not agree with it but feared for their jobs! As a result of this, I will not support JIB in the future. They don't help me I don't support them. It's simple! I will be calling in the morning because the manager has no direct number after hours and there was no one able to speak from a site leadership perspective when I was trying to place my order. The current manager is not on top of management responsibilities. read more

So, it's a Jack in the Box. They cook it after it's ordered. One thing I have noticed about this location is that it would appear, if you are sitting inside, the drive thru gets served faster. I think the staffing levels are at a minimum here and this definitely shows when they are busy. The food is always very good! We happened to eat here on Christmas Day about dinner time as it was the only place open other than the bad (and overpriced) Thai place downtown. Christmas dinner on the boat just was not what we were looking for. The staff was nice enough to treat us to a complimentary peppermint-Oreo shake because the service was slower than they thought it should be. The food was Jack in the Box quality this visit and every other time we have been there. The tweakers that arrived and ordered while we were eating provided entertainment. I guess one large shake and four extra cups were so they could divide up the shake. Got me. read more

(4/16/2015) Went to get Jack in the Box just to say I've had it, it's infamous in my line of work. Burger was bathed in their "new" garlic butter. I venture to say it's a butter-like substitute (like what microwave popcorn is coated in) and it was certainly "bathed", everything was completely coated, bun, box and all (gotta say, it was kind of gross). Patty was thin, but expected from a chain burger, dry and gray. The Swiss cheese was near translucent (not much milk solids). That was enough of an experience for me. Horrible experience at this location. Not only did they get my order wrong three times, they never even apologized for it. I hate writing bad reviews but this place killed my vibe and just kept getting worse. The treatment I received from the employees was very poor. Even though the order was wrong, and I had done nothing wrong but bring that to their attention and request my correct order politely. I mean, I am a paying customer... why should my order be wrong and my food cold?!? so I drove all the way to my house then had to come all the way back. By that time my whole order was cold. Then they forgot an item. That was the third time I had to go through the line and after that I was done and ready to eat and go to bed. Too bad it wasn't even good. The patty was dry and the fries were not even crispy. Really bad experience. Just do yourself a favor and go across the street to Fidalgo Drive Inn. I won't make the same mistake again. read more

Came through for a quick late night snack and it was amazing! Daniel was the person handling all the late night traffic. The food was ready in no time flat, it was so fresh and hot I almost scorched my tongue a little, and to top it all off he had an amazing attitude and customer service skills. If I had to pick, i think they have the best fast food in town. They have a coke freestyle machine, which means I can get my favorite mixed soda, mellow yellow zero peach. I like the sour dough jack because it has cheese and bacon on it. The coupons that come out in the paper every month are real money savers. Watch for them. Service is always fast, and my order it rarely wrong. If you want sauce of any kind make sure you ask for it. Do not assume they will put it in there. read more
