For the fifth time I went by this Jack in the Box and the lady says they are closed. I'm not sure what they are doing or what but it says open 24 hours all over the internet as well as all over the building and yet they are never open passed 1230am. I've came at 311, 226, 211, 233, and 404 and every single time they either got on the intercom and said they're closed or there were two times there was never even a response and the lights were dim even though people were there. They either need to change they hours and close early or do their job. There's not much open late night so if you get out your bed walk to your car and drive 3 miles to get some food because your starving, you should not be told they're closed when clearly there's workers and says open. Terrible customer service, and the coworkers are rude as well. One I asked what time they closed and she said 24 hours and I told her she's lying and she laughed. read more

But the wait in line at the drive-thru is horrendous. I kid you not, one time I waited almost 25 minutes with 2 cars ahead of me. Don't go through the drive-thru if you are in a hurry. I am so done with this Jack in the Box. I was debating to, should I stop or just have a protein shake. My mind tricked me into stopping. You would think since they are getting a lot of competition around here with the new restaurants they will step up they fast food game. This place is always been hit or miss. When they first came out with the new breakfast menu. The breakfast chicken sandwich was so good. The last two times sucked. I always thought the best way to get fast food would be in the morning when everything is fresh. Not at this Jack in the Box. Everything supposed to be cooked to order right? Negative! This morning my chicken patty was rubbish and taste days old. The English muffin oh my God hard as hell. I knew it was stale when I pulled it out of the package. I've tried this place several times and today I had a burger with the sauce more covering the inside of the box than the burger and the bun was halfway on the burger. I tasted most of the sauce and little of the burger. It was a gooey mess. The fries were cool to the touch and not even luke warm. This place is awful. Management must be out to lunch somewhere else. There are two more burger places hands down better just a few blocks away near the freeway. I had Wendy's yesterday for lunch and they were really very good. read more

I would give 0 star. I played an order online 30 mins before I got there to pickup. A young lady told me that they didn't receive it. I showed her my order on the phone but she didn't say anything and went to the drive through window instead, leaving me standing there.... Horrible! After about 5 mins, another older lady came. My food was made right, asked for no bacon. Fries were hot & fresh. They gave me ranch like I asked for, no charge. A lot of places charge for ranch, I like simple places like this that offer it with your meal. Great service, nice lady with a nose ring. I have never had cold jack in the box til today. ALL the food I ordered was cold and there was only one person in front of me with a 7 minute wait. Just watched a girl working the counter put fries back in the fryer that were exchanged for curly fries. The customer brought the fries back by hand and they just dumped them back in with the other fries. They should have been thrown away. Let's be clear, I only frequent this place on the rare occasion I have fast food craving because it's down the street from where I live and there is NOTHING else open worth eating late at night (so sad I know. I need to move to LA pronto lol). But if I could give zero stars, I would. Over the years I have had very strained relationship with this location. When the current manager/owner first took over this place, he seemed nice, but it became clear that he only cared about money, not customer satisfaction. The last couple visits have been subpar yet acceptable, but on a recent visit, I had a manager-given coupon that I wanted to use (which was given to me because of ANOTHER bad incident a while back). The coupon was for a free burger with the purchase of another burger I believe. There was this nonchalant, lost, incompetent girl cashier working (the type that makes you wonder why fast food employees want $15/hr?). She had already given me attitude and the vibe that she didn't wanna be there at all while she was taking my order. So I order the two burgers or sandwiches (I think it was a Sourdough jack and a chicken sandwich), and fries to-go. She gives me total, then I give her my coupon. This B@^@! sat up there and looked at the coupon and the register confused for a few seconds, then quickly pushed some button that made the price go down but I didn't see the actual discount as it went fast. So I paid the total then looked at my receipt. Sure enough, she did a $2 OFF DISCOUNT, instead of taking off one of the entire sandwiches that was what the coupon STATED. I was livid. I called her back to the front to argue. She tells me nonchalantly "Oh, well I didn't know how to do the free burger coupon...." So I chew her out, and I ask her why didn't she just ask a manager or someone instead of doing the wrong coupon? I was supposed to receive a FREE burger, not $2 off of one the burgers. I guess she didn't know how to fix the problem, nor did anyone else. It was late too, and the "manager" who was on duty was no where in sight, probably hiding in the back so the incompetent cashier gave me the number of the owner/head manager who I have spoken to before. Now this is where things get REALLY bad. I left a message to the owner (I won't say his name for now just in case my review gets flagged), and do you know he had the nerve to call me back leaving me a voicemail basically accusing me of always complaining to try getting free food???? Mind you there WAS NO MENTION of the issue I had of me being overcharged and the coupon not being entered right. He just went on some tirade about me just wanting free food. Now from here, I won't go into to heavy detail of all the 101 ways I put that mofo in check, but I will leave a shortened version of the rest of events of what I basically told him: FIRST OF ALL, I am classy. I don't need to be complaining all the time to get free crappy @%% fast food. If I just wanted free food, I'll complain at GOOD burger joints like Super Duper Burgers or probably even Nation's, so let's get that clear right now. SECOND, YES you have given me little gift certificates and coupons in the past for previous issues, but WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH THE CURRENT ISSUE AT HAND??? Over the last 3.5-4 years I have received just TWO different coupons out of the probably 20 to 30 visits that I have made here, meaning that I have ONLY HAD an issue worthy enough to complain JUST TWO times, NOT EVERY TIME I VISIT. SO WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GOING OFF ON ME FOR BRINGING AN ISSUE TO YOUR ATTENTION??? So you're saying that just because I have gotten coupons in the past, that any serious issue going forward I should just sweep under the rug and NEVER bring it to the worker's attention ever again?? Is that how you do business??? I HAD A COUPON, IT WAS NOT RUNG UP CORRECTLY, WHICH RESULTED IN ME BEING OVERCHARGED AND YOUR ARROGANT IMMATURE EMPLOYEE NOT CARING. THIRD, MAYBE IF YOU BETTER TRAINED YOUR WORKERS, THERE WOULDN'T BE ISSUES TO COMPLAIN ABOUT!!!! He NEVER replied to my messages after I bitched him tf out and severely put him in his place, and he's lucky I never really go during the day or the morning times when he is there because I have no problem telling him off to his face since technically I never got the situation corrected. Food wise: Don't order the sourdough grilled chicken club anymore here. The grilled chicken has been tasting like undercooked rubber as of late. Stick with the breaded chicken. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Unless you enjoy subpar customer service and TERRIBLE food. No matter what we order, no matter the time, it IS NEVER FRESH. Cold chicken patties, egg sandwiches that aren't even warm, and to top it off the cold food wasn't even put together as we requested. This place is so great right now. They are my next door neighbors, so we are there a lot. They stay on top of the cleanliness, and the recent remodel really made it look nice inside. I love how jack-in-the-box is always adding new things to their menu. Sometimes they even bring back the old stuff (teriyaki chicken bowl) which is cool for the nostalgic people. :-) They only time the line is long is during the lunch hour and the older high-schoolers are there.
