We got a Togo order so no good pictures this round as we got our food and was eating on the way home. I got a bacon cheeseburger and a chocolate cake. My daughter got a chicken nugget happy meal. The chocolate cake was good chocolaty and moist. That was the only thing not eaten in the car. The chicken nuggets and fries were hot and delicious (my 7yo word not mine). The service was quick. You do have an option to order with a person or do the touch screen. Of course I had to use the touch screen, so my daughter could order her own food, but with my wallet. The restaurant is bright and clean, there wasn't any clutter on the tables and the floors were exceptional for the location to be so near the street with foot traffic. read more

We stopped in here for lunch today. Got a chicken sandwich and had some kind of seasoning buffalo sauce on it with pickles and I must say it was really good. I really enjoyed that sandwich we had snack treat that was pretty good. I must say the atmosphere was very nice Service was solid. I can finally say I visited Kentucky's first ever Jack in the Box. Although I have heard many negative things about this place I still wanted to go. I will say Louisville is privileged to have a Dixie Hwy location and a Bardstown Road location. This one is located right next to Arby's that is closer to the Gene Snyder. They have drive thru, mobile pickup window and dine in/carryout. I decided to dine in on my first visit. The interior was rather small and I was the only one inside other than maybe a few other people inside. It took a minute or two for someone to come to the counter. I placed my order, I got the ultimate bacon cheeseburger combo with curly fries. I proceeded to sit at one of the few tables that were cleaned. I understand a restaurant can be busy but, this was a slow time and most of the tables were still dirty. I only waited no less than 10 minutes. The burger itself was just ok, the bacon was well cooked I give them that. Curly fries were pretty good. I will say it wasn't great nor terrible but, I am gonna say it's not as bad as many people have said. My suggestion would be to go at about 2pm like I did. It wasn't very busy at that time and there is limited parking there as well. I intend to go back and try their other food items. I won't be a regular here but, I will be back. read more

Just another fast food location with employees who seem to be mad that they are there and can't not get an order correct. I ordered the Bacon Double Smash Combo with no sauce. I got the burger and cheese. Nothing else. No bacon or any of the other toppings. I also ordered the tiny spicy tacos that should have come with sauce but did not. And trust me, they need a sauce. We were in the area and decided to try Jack in the Box. We were pleasantly surprised to find they were serving breakfast. We ordered the a sausage egg and cheese croissant sandwich, hashbrown, and coffee. When we pulled around to the window we were informed they have nothing to add to coffee (creamer or sugar). Hopefully it was simply because they've recently opened but we were not given a reason. The sandwich included an over hard egg and was delicious. I think the sausage was rather thin, so I'd probably try a double sandwich next time. Burger King is still a better option IMO (price & taste). Am beyond excited that my 2nd favorite CA staple has finally come to KY! Here's the best parts 1) Location- Just off Dixie and the Gene Snyder Fwy This is ideal because a lot of my trips up this way take me by that area. It is also just close enough to me but not too far that a drive to fulfill a craving isn't going to kill my gas tank 2) 24 Hours a day! 3) My beloved JITB tacos!!! For anyone that has never had one it's not the greatest thing in the world, but when this is something from your childhood that hasn't changed, it's a craving Prior to them opening here my travels had me going to TN or OH for my nearest location. Now there's this! It gets better... all JITBs offer a military discount and the menu options are as expected. Now if only they'd bring back the Sourdough Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich they'd get my 5 stars. Otherwise, this location is still new and thankfully clean. The staff seemed friendly and the drive thru line was nonstop. We went in to enjoy our food at a leisure. They were having an issue with the mixture on their beverages, but not a game stopper. This review is for the newly opened one on Bardstown Road. Give them a break these folks are new and the drive thru line was crazy especially in the evening. They had traffic control. I waited over 40 minutes in the drive thru but I haven't had Jack N the box in over 20 years. The food was very good..... maybe not like I remember but my milk shake did not disappoint. Nice fact food pick for late night snacks or even dinner. The menu has a lot to choose from and I believe they serve breakfast all day. The food is delicious for it being a fast food restaurant. I've never ate inside, so I'm not sure what the service is like, but I've never had an issue with the drive-through. The price seems reasonable for what you get and it's good. I just recently started driving for DoorDash. Most businesses put special instructions on how they handle delivery orders after the lobby is closed. They do not so I'm mistakenly gotten the drive through line which was super slow. When I got to the speaker I was informed that I was in the wrong line and there are already 3 cars behind me and they have one of those cool drive throughs that trap you in. Was told even if I waited in the line I still couldn't pick it up there. Luckily I've got an SUV and just off-roaded over their grassy knoll.. Horrible Service. Placed an online order, site said order would be ready at 6:12. Got there on time, went to the pickup window. Rang the bell. 5 minutes later someone finally came to window. He told me my order was being made at that moment. 20 minutes later when I got someone to come back to window. My order had been sitting there. But then they had to make drinks, took 10 minutes to make a coke and a tea. There were at least 15 workers in there and only four cars went through drive thru during that time.
