It must of been a long hard and crazy day... we stopped in later after hours of doing the girl's braids... and well there was nothing really available. Luckily they were making some chicken that was about ready... but no rice beans tortillas or. Hips or toppings besides corn and a little queso.... No sauces etc etc... now I always get the chicken bowl so I know it comes with guacamole and queso but was charged extra for them And the chicken that I waited for was burnt like not in as tasty way like bitter and not good. After not eating all day long it was just as disappointing to see nothing available. So again... it was a long hard crazy day for everyone. So much so they didn't even get a chance to clean- even though the grown ass people who came in throughout the day could have cleaned after themselves and their kids. Like really people you are capable of picking up your trash and not putting it on the floor or flushing the toilets behind yourself (someone literally came out saying how it was nasty in there since someone didn't flush) do better adult humans... Anyways another case of try not to go anywhere late in the day... but it cannot be helped at times. After only experiencing Chipotle through DoorDash at work, I suggested visiting for tonight's family dinner. Regretful. The large queso was steaming hot and chunky, but not in a good way. It lacked flavor and has the consistency of "let's add more cheese to yesterday's leftovers". We also noticed several rubbery chips that had not been cooked long enough. My three tacos carried toppings of my choice. Flavor lacked with the protein, both in the chicken and carnitas. My son and husband agreed - not terrible enough to throw away, but we only ate it because we paid too much money not to. Service was typical for a build your own experience. The vibe is busy and chaotic as they get people down the line. The store has seats inside and out. Any open seats were dirty and we wiped down our own table. Right quarters, so lots of squeezing past other customers or being in someone's way. Loud environment due to the overhead music. Poor ventilation in the space, meaning you're going to leave smelling like smoky food - yuck. I'll only be eating here again if it's free delivery through work (and also not my choice). read more

Servers were rude and took an attitude with me when they told me there wasn't any chicken in the line. They wouldn't get me chicken from the take out line. They've done it before but refused this time saying "they're not supposed to do that." The option for me was basically steak which is more expensive, so I got upcharged by rude workers. The people not using the app are just as much customers as people using it. You can give me chicken from the other line. That's a really stupid rule. As we've gone to this Chipotle as our main one over the last few years, it's gotten worse as time has gone on. A year or two ago there were workers there that were consistently there and pleasant to be around. They're all gone. The ones that are usually there are fine, but not always great. Today's were just flat out rude. I don't need over the top service- I just want my chicken burrito without a rude employee giving it to me. As I'm writing this, I'm realizing I'm putting up with way more than I should be for what I'm paying for a burrito that is either hit or miss most nights. First, let me say I LOVE Chipotle. Years ago, I was the first customer EVER to chipotle in Louisville. It's always been a favorite. I ordered a pick up order and it was just terrible. Mainly rice. I ordered: Rice (got at least double portion) Black beans (maybe 20 total in the bowl? Carnitas (all I received was a 6"x3" piece of fat. SO gross) Double corn (only a little bit) Double Pico (I couldn't even find more than a few tomatoes) Half sour cream (was definitely full) Cheese (couldn't find any) The whole bowl tasted like lime and rice. I threw most of it away. Ordered a side tortilla and it was glued together. Ordered chips as well and they were so salty they were inedible. My wife and I walked in about 1:30 in the afternoon. When we approached the counter and saw the typical scene(filthy, food spilled all around the serving table, out of items...etc...) we turned around and left. I keep trying because I've been a Chipotle fan and have loved their food for a lot of years but no more. I travel extensively in my work and this is just the way chipotle is about everywhere, not just this location. If you want friendlier service, better price and portions, protein that isn't scooped up with a flat spoon because heaven forbid you get one small cube of steak too much, and guacamole that isn't pricier than gold, then do yourself a favor and visit QDOBA. Chipotle rarely disappoints and this location is no different. The location is small but even at a peak lunch hour we were able to get a table and get through the line in little more than 10 minutes.
