24 hours! Amazing late night spot. Burger were good and loaded with the veggies. The fries were the star of the show very well seasoned! The vibes were very cute with vintage signs and furniture. We went at 2:30am and the staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. If the burgers came with fries or the burgers themselves were a bit cheaper I would have given a 4 star review. But overall it really satisfied my late night burger craving.

Listen, is Burger Boy gourmet? And always consistent? No. Is Burger Boy there for you when you need it most? Yes. Open (almost) all the time... this late night spots provides us locals with the good ol' diner food you need during or after a late-night. The vibes are very retro and low-key. The staff are mostly super young and just making a buck, but usually helpful and efficient. I personally really like their Philly cheesesteak. Good amount of cheese, greasy but in an acceptable way. I have also had their ruben... it was really difficult to eat and fell apart in my hands. I'd skip that one. Overall, it's a local staple. I'm not mad at it.

Burger Boy is your classic dinner- open 24/7 and always serving breakfast. I've ate here a few times and often get breakfast or a burger. Today I was in the mood for chicken tenders and the awesome fries! My lunch mate got the breakfast wrap and really enjoy it. This is a classic if you like dinner food, need a late night bite!

This place isn't it. The place was packed but the line wasn't that long. After waiting 20 minutes and a couple ahead of me before I can order, the cashier announces that they're aren't taking anymore orders and that they'll be cleaning up and service will start again when third shift shows up. Crappy customer service by the way. Anyway, after waiting another 10 minutes, a few people from third shift shows up and start handing out orders that have been sitting. After another 15 minutes, they begin taking orders again....i ordered the old Louisville burger with chili cheese for fries. $25! No drink by the way. Tipped 5 to make it an even $30. I said eff, it, I got to see what the hype is about. I waited another 33 minutes for my food! When I tell you this food was surely not worth the wait, please believe me! Not only are they overpriced, the food is subpar. I truly don't get the appeal of this place or why it was packed. Maybe it's a local thing but if you're from out of town, stay clear.

This burger was exactly what I was looking for, small local, located in old Louisville, delicious seasoned fries and at a hole in the wall restaurant. I will be going back to try more. Super nice and pleasant service

Fun, 24/7 burger restaurant. Fast food with seating available. Obviously a fan favorite with local college students. I'm glad I got to check it out. My burger and fries were delicious! There was a wait though and a line most of our time there, even though it was nearing midnight. Popular place! Also liked the greasy spoon atmosphere with local pennants and political bumper stickers.

Woke up starving and straight-up over it. I'm talking full meltdown -- I cannot do another bite of that processed garbage from the big chains. You know the ones: bright lights, sad patties, and a side of "why did I do this to myself?" Google Maps saves the day again like a total legend. Types in "real food near me" and boom! Burger Boy Diner in Louisville pops up. Oh boy. OH BOY. This place did NOT disappoint Walk in and the staff are immediately nice -- like, actually friendly, not the fake "how are you today" robot voice. Felt like I'd known them for years. Then the food hits the table and I'm legit emotional. Crispy bacon that snaps when you bite it, perfect eggs, and those hash browns -- crispy golden edges, fluffy inside, absolute perfection. Real breakfast done right, man. The kind your mum would make on a lazy morning, but way better because someone else cooked it and you didn't have to wash a single dish. And it came out stupid fast. I swear I sat down, blinked twice, and my plate was staring at me like "sup bro, eat me." This spot is such a hidden gem it should be in witness protection. Locals were packed in there like it was the coolest underground club in town everyone chatting, laughing, smashing plates of breakfast. I felt like the new kid who accidentally found the best table in the cafeteria. If you're in Louisville and sick of the corporate clown food, do yourself a favor and go to Burger Boy right now. 10/10, will be back tomorrow for round two. Boy oh boy, I'm in love.

Typical greasy spoon. Not your typical omelette but it worked. Seemed slow business wise for a Sunday afternoon but is prob just a local spot.

Inside of sausage, egg and American cheese breakfast wrap. You can change cheese type and add veggies if desired.

Made a point to go by this diner after coming across it in a Yelp search and support of local. My first impression was "CLEAN" and that it might be a neighborhood cliche. Not many employees are needed for this timeless diner but they were both very welcoming. Just a few customers at 8:00 a.m. on a Friday. Menus are at the register which tells me you might order/pay there all at once. My order was "to-go". BYO wrap of sausage, eggs, and American cheese in a slightly grilled white tortilla. Since the cooking is done in plain view, I watched the sausage and eggs cooked to order and there was no skimping on the cheese. They have cinnamon rolls, cookies, and cakes on display that looked so delicious I had to buy a couple of the cinnamon rolls as well. The visit turned out to be a good one and won't be the last. They are open 24/7 with Breakfast anytime.

We had a couple cocktails in here and the service was excellent even though it appeared they were filled to capacity. There were 4 of us in our party and we were seated at a table in the corner near the bar. Was definitely a cozy spot with so many people being in there and the bar being full. I had The Holy Ghost cocktail and it was a pomegranate hibiscus sour, it had just the right amount of sour! I do not like bitter drinks and this one was good and easy to drink. My husband had a couple of dark beers, I do not remember which ones but he liked them. They had a nice outdoor area but it was a bit too cool for that but it may be worth a return in the Spring to check it out. Bathroom was also really cool as the decor and theme spilled over into it. We will be back.

The inside is like an industrial style bar & the murals & decor were interesting and quirky. I really loved their chicken katsu sandwich, very thick and tender. Nicely made!! We were told to come back at 7:00 PM, so we did. When we returned, we were seated, but then told it would be another hour before our order could even be taken and our food brought out. That part was really frustrating--if we had known that upfront when we first put our name down, we could have planned differently. As for the food, it was decent. The burger itself was delicious and definitely the highlight. The fries were very oily but crispy--I personally liked them since I prefer well-done fries, but my daughter wasn't a fan. The layout of the place was also a bit confusing--it took a while to even find the restroom since it was tucked away in another area. Service-wise, I also had to ask for a refill--and only got one--which was disappointing, especially with such a big burger. Overall, spending close to three hours from arrival to finishing our meal just didn't feel worth it, especially with the lack of communication about wait times and limited service. Not a terrible spot food-wise, but the experience could definitely be improved.

This was a very good meat alternative. A but on the mildly dry side, the way its dressed. I almost always use the mobile app to make an order, but the one time I ordered for takeout at the counter, it took less than two minutes for my salad to be ready, bagged, and on the counter. There is drive thru where a person with an ordering pad will take your order before you go around to the collection window. I warn you, there is always a long line for pickup so ordering ahead for takeout or going inside to order may be quicker.

Kylie was our bartender and she was fabulous - knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all of our questions with patience. Wife ordered a mango margarita and doesn't like a lot of tequila, so Kylie went half and gave her a shot on the side in case she wanted to add more. It was wonderful. I had a couple of beers. We started with the fried mushrooms, which aren't what you would expect. It's two large portobellos cut into chunks, battered, fried, and served with sun-dried tomato mayo. They were great. I then ordered a duck taco, brisket taco, and a side of Grippo Fries with smoked mayo. I'd never tried duck but that taco was smack-a-lackin'. The brisket taco was also good, and the fries were fantastic - sweet and spicy, fresh cut, and crispy. Wife ordered a pork belly slider and truffle fries. She enjoyed the slider but didn't care for the fries - just not her thing. The portions here are large. A side of fries will feed three people. We took a hefty portion of them home, as well as some of the mushrooms. We could've sat there at the bar and spent 3 hours socializing and enjoying a smattering of cocktails - love the setting.
