I spent $50 through uber and it took over 40 minutes to arrive. When it arrived it was 4 egg rolls, a completely different persons order. I call them and I have to drive to pick it up, I get the food and go home. Come to find out they forgot 4 tacos and gave the wrong drinks. i just ordered a Bacon Ultimate cheese burger with no mayo and no mustard. They gave me a burger without the bacon and WITH mayo!! That's ridiculous. i ordered a sourdough breakfast sandwich add sausage, they charged me extra for sausage. (which was fine) i get the sandwich and no sausage so i go back and tell them. they get me a new sandwich and said "you had the breakfast sandwich with sausage" i said yes, then they hand me my sandwich. i leave again and check my sandwich still no sausage and not only that but now it's not even on sourdough bread. i'm not one to complain but i ordered a simple thing, and they couldn't get it right not even the second time around. read more

So, I don't typically expect superb service at fast food restaurants as I understand that it can be a busy and overwhelming work environment. However, I visited this place and there was only one car in line with us. When we reached the window, the cashier asked us if we would be okay not receiving change as they "only had a few pennies in the drawer." We offered 14 cents so we could round up to get a dollar back to make it easy. He kept saying "no it's okay, you're good" and proceeded to short us 86 cents. Now I know what you're thinking "really? Over 86 cents?" But it's the principle, we offered change to make a simple round up to receive a dollar back. Which seems like they could have used it due to the previous statement of "only having pennies." It just leaves me to wonder if this is something they do regularly. 12-28-22. Whataburger has always been my go to until recently. I'm a big Dairy Queen fan too but I just got the Jumbo Jack with cheese at our New Braunfels location on Seguin st....that was just about the best burger I've had. At least it's the best in a long time. The patty was cooked to where it was hot, a little crisp on the edges, and perfect in the middle. It melted the cheese just right and the lettuce and tomatoes where cut perfect. the lettuce had a crisp to the bite too. 5 stars guys! read more

Jack Tacos? More like Crack Tacos. They are, inexplicably, the best drive-thru tacos in the world. Jack knows what it does and it does it well. This is high calorie, high fat grub. "Wow" is all I can say. Grant it that my visit was around 2am on New Year's Day, but this whole experience seemed like some sort of unbelievable Hunter S. Thompson heroine/cocaine fueled experience. I ... just .... couldn't .... believe how crazy it all was! The whole restaurant was ran by a total of THREE employees being led by a 23 year old tattooed white dude (no offense of course). Although this little guy was very concerned about the guests inside the restaurant, he seemed fixated on getting everyone out of the drive thru for some reason. He was very apologetic to everyone but kept explaining there were only three of them. The most interesting thing was that he LITERALLY kept jumping behind the counter - really, jumping! It was sooo weird that it was entertaining! The service was terrible, the restaurant was filthy, but for a Jack in the Box it wasn't too bad. So today I thought I'd go get a burger combo at Jack in the Box. Wasn't sure which one I wanted. I arrived and saw a poster on the window. It was a Double Bonus Jack combo for $5.99. Seemed like a good deal. I've had a Bonus Jack before. It's supposed to be like a Big Mac. At first the lady rung up a Double Jack combo for by like $12. I corrected her as I had clearly stated I wanted a Double Bonus Jack combo. After about 5 minutes she brought the tray out. Fries were thin and cold. Fine. I started eating the burger and noticed it had like hot sauce on the bottom bun and little special sauce if any. I wasn't sure what was supposed to be on it so I ate like half and tossed out the rest. Poster clearly shows special sauce. When I got home I looked at the Jack in the Box website to check ingredients for the Bonus Jack. Just as I thought NO HOT SAUCE, and lots of special sauce. I don't know if they don't know what goes on a Bonus Jack or someone was playing a joke. Now my stomach hurts. Never again. Stupid people work here. read more

Went here for a "quick" lunch. There were only 2 couples besides us in there. But we waited almost 10-15min? For a burger and fries.. we didn't get the extra fries which was fine since it was free so we didn't bother. It just amazes me how slow they were considering how little customers they had. They were out of tea which was fine but we noticed that their soda machine were out of ALLOT of drinks too.. Before we left we wanted to get some water instead from the machine but noticed that the water was yellowish?? Allot of tables weren't cleaned, and the ladies restroom was a mess. Wow. Don't even waste your time coming to this location. My family and I waited in their drive-thru lane for 26 minutes only to have half of our order missing. My husband went inside to get this resolved only to be blown off by the staff which was mostly made up of confused, poorly trained teenagers. The worst Jack In the Box ever. Period. It's filthy. The service is slow and the food is terrible. It's sad to see how far Jack In the Box has fallen over the years. It used to be my go-to when I wanted to treat myself to delicious fast food. Over time, the food has become bland (remember how their mayo used to taste? It was amazing!) and it just really lacks the flavor that made it stand out over other fast-food establishments. That aside- this specific location is grimy. There were stains on the ceiling tiles and the dining room was gross with litter all over the floor and dirty tables everywhere. It looks as if there hasn't been any serious cleaning done here in quite sometime. It really is the filthiest dining room I've seen in an eatery. The employees lack any sort of initiative at getting things done. The service is at a snail's pace. We watched from the dining room as a drive-thru customer's car idled outside in the front waiting for their order for what seemed like 10 minutes. Then, the employee who delivered it out to the car walked sooooo slooooow. The food was probably cold by then. Seriously zero consideration on getting that food out in a reasonable amount of time. Our food was marginally acceptable. There was a long wait for it, and with the chaotic state of the dining room, it just seems like no one on this team cares. I don't think I'll be visiting any Jack In the Boxes anytime soon- I always think about how good they used to be, and that is the only thing that keeps me flirting with disastrous dalliances such as this. It's amazing that these are legally considered food, and similar to Jaegermeister, never sounds like a good idea unless you have a healthy buzz. You will regret your decision on purchasing $5 worth the next day but will not really know if it was the alcohol or the grease.
