The teriyaki chicken bowl has been my go-to item at Jack in the Box for decades. I don't know if this has happened across the chain, but recently the chicken has been changed, and not for the better. It had always been moist and tender. Sometimes the teriyaki sauce was poured on a little too generously, but that was my only issue. Now the chicken is in thin strips, dry, and overly salty. I thought it must be a mistake, but the next visit made my disappointment complete. It's a shame that a relatively simple yet tasty treat has been altered into an inedible dish. read more

I've had some of the worst service I've ever received in my life at this Jack the Box, but some employees have actually been quite polite. I prefer the burgers at other fast food places, but Jack in the Box has the best fast food onion rings and the tiny tacos are delicious. If the Pineapple Express shake is available when you order, I recommend it. It's fruity, creamy, and delicious. read more

This place has no business being open. On Tuesday, 8/5/25, I placed on order on the mobile app. App indicated order would be ready to pick up at 6:33PM. I arrived at 6:35. Order not ready and lobby had several others waiting for orders. The food prep area was a disaster with food debris all over the floor and prepared items scattered across counter tops. There only appeared to be two workers. 1 standing at the fryer in a daze and one bagging what was prepared. More people arrived to place orders but left after waiting for service and never receiving it. Others who had ordered at the drive thru, who were told to park and wait were coming in asking for their order. Some who had received orders were coming in complaining of missing and incorrect items. I finally received my order at 7:05...32 minutes after the app indicated. I will never return and I hope the franchise owner gets out of the F&B business. They clearly don't know how to manage a restaurant. read more

Avoid this place. I was on my way back into town after driving along the northern coast on Friday and wanted some food. This location has broken down cars in the parking lot, drug addicts ordering 10 huge combo meals, and the slowest service ever. It took 20 minutes to get my food, and most of that time, the drug addicts were trotting back and forth between waiting for their food and the cab they took to get there. I didn't catch the name of the guy who took our order, but he was a bit rude. I will say he understood the order, and our food was correct. Jack is best. The King is a fraud, McDs blows, and Wendy's sucks. Port Angeles is a place I used to travel thru often. The journey between Tacoma and the Olympic Rain Forest is dreary. Enough so that I figured, after the late fall weather begun to become winter weather this venture would be an enjoyable, cruise control paced 70mph for extended stretches after Bremerton. I was so wrong. It's rainy and a lot of cars. Finally passing The Hood Canal bridge, surely the pain would cease. But no, it took on greater sensations, like a migraine that won't just arrive, just ever present on the horizon. Not a real headache, but when long spans revealed 12cars ahead, one car was at the front, and perhaps a mile of open road in front of this bozo. Oncoming traffic was consistently placed to make passing even a single car, an event many miles separated. At one point I was 3 cars behind the offender and was able to discern this person was SO law abiding, the brake lights would trigger anytime 56mpg was crossed. Mostly 45-50 was this drivers happy place. Eventually I did pass the car, the kind citizen thanks me with his single digit wave telling me he thought I was the new number one! I was elated. But because I had to P I feared stopping because even if I put 10 miles between us, he/she may become the front of the parade again. So I drove a further 40-50 miles with a discomfort that was greater than my fear of having that guy become my nemesis again. Jack in the box was my saving grace. A fairly well maintained Burger place. My burger was whatever the number 4 was. Essentially a single deluxe with cheese and bacon. Delish. While I awaited the burger the taunting sign suggesting a caramel iced coffee pleaded for my money! I was easily persuaded, and am not distressed whatsoever. It's better tasting than the Starbucks drink that got me out of bed before heading out! read more

I have no clue what their burgers are made of. It's definitely not 100% beef. The burger I had was super weird like rubbery sausage so maybe it's some kind of meat mix? Bread was black but cheese and ham cold so I went inside and the cashier said "oh yeah that's burnt", walked to the back and told a guy who said "Oh yeah our burner is running high today". came here to grab lunch because we wanted something quick. parking lot is big so no problem there. great service. the ordering process was fast and easy, the manager and staff brings out the food once its done which means we can just sit and relax until the food comes out which was nice; but the food was not great... the soda is on the particular side (doesn't taste like the actual brands and they have some off flavors too) i wish i can give this place a better rating because the staff service was truly phenomenal but the food was just not there (even for fast food). but i guess if you need something fast and edible, this place is the place for you! read more

I guess my first time here was the charm because it was ok...however my luck may have run out quickly because the second time I was here was kind of a mess. I was the first in line but didn't get my order until last,supposedly even though they printed out a ticket for me it didn't show up in the system so when I asked where my order was after 10 minutes they told me it didn't show up. I had already paid for it and they offered a free dessert. 20 minutes later I finally got to sit down to eat. Worst service ever! Just passed through the drive thru. A guy (don't know his name) at the drive thru told us to wait so we did. We continued with our conversation. Then after he got our orders we pulled up to the window and some lady named Kellie, said rudely, "just so you know, we can hear everything you guys were talking about when you're waiting in the drive thru." You can also hear the staff being rude and abusive towards each other. Seems like a horrible work environment. She didn't even acknowledge us but we were so dumbfounded at the fact that she would tell us that. When we weren't even talking about her or them. We decided we just wanted our money back. So we called the store to complain. We talked to the "assistant" manager her name was Jackie, she said to come back in the morning and I said we were outside. Upon my recommendation, I live in Colorado, I told my friend she should try their breakfast burritoes. We drove through on our way to the farmers market, she threw her's away before we even left the drive through, nacho cheese on a burritoe? Mine didn't have any cheese at all. This place screwed up my order several times. If you go during "off" hours, expect the food to be cold. The regional manager did little to remedy the problems, and lied about giving me a gift card.
