We've given this Port Angeles pizza establishment 3 separate tries and have been disappointed every time, mostly the customer service. Recently we attempted to return a pizza (two slices removed) because we felt they either forgot to add sauce or there was so little, to us, it wasn't palatable. The "kid" at the counter chose to argue vs attempting to make things right. I felt the correct thing to do was make an exchange with a fresh pizza but his solution was to give a discount for a future pizza vs an exchange. I already paid $25. Along with his surly behavior, his refusal to look at me directly and that final comment about it being "too bad you didn't get it your way" pushed the wrong button. Once back home, I did make a phone call with an apology for my out bust. Future, we'll drive a little down the road and get an already baked pizza for the same price and better customer service. read more

Great option for take and bake pizza while visiting Olympic National park! They offer both regular and vegan cheese for pizzas. Don't get the garlic sauce it is not great. read more

Always a good experience here. Fresh high quality ingredients that bake up nicely whenever you feel like it! As a pescatarian I put some shrimp or lobster on the vegetarian pizza and instantly make it a gourmet pizza! Pizzas are ready for pickup in a timely manner and the people working in here are nice. Wow has this place gone down in quality. The Owner is clearly letting this place go. The entire outside of the business is full of weeds, trash, overgrown plants/bushes and piles of leaves in the drive-thru. Walked inside one day at about 6 PM or so to get a salad and the coolers weren't even halfway stocked? The new Owner needs to step up, invest and maintain this business/property. read more

The pizza is good if you can actually get it. This location is the only Papa Murphy's in the state that neither takes on-line orders nor honors specials. They used to take on-line orders and honor specials but not any longer. I applaud this location's practice of hiring the mentally challenged with attention deficit disorder but it makes it difficult to order a pizza from them. I was asked repeatedly for the size of pizza and the toppings i wanted. I slowed my speech way down so the person on the phone had time to take the items I wanted. Finally I asked the cost and was handed off to someone who identified themselves as a manager and asked why I was calling. I called another Pizza place in Port Angeles and they didn't seem to have any difficulty with the same order. I should have called them first. The second place delivered. Live and learn. read more

This is a cumulative rate over the last few years. Their quality has gone down, there speed has gotten increasingly slow, and you can't even order online here. Is this the only location that does not offer online ordering? If you go in person to order, they will keep pushing your order back behind call-ins who placed orders after yours, until you finally say something to the supervisor on staff. If you call in, it's at least 1 hr wait, and after an hour they still haven't even started your order. read more

I've had very good experience with the Port Angeles store. The food is always on time and prepared well. Generously supplied with ingredients for the most part, although I do occasionally add shrimp or extra ham. In the last four years I've only been disappointed twice and the management quickly rectified the problems. Friendly staff too. read more

There is something very good about fresh-out-of-the-oven pizza, and Papa Murphy's knows that. Their pizza dough and ingredients are always very good. I love their Thai pizza. You need to try it. I like all their pizza's, but the Pepperoni and the Thai are my favorite. I don't like thin crusts, but I do like the other crusts they have. It's more expensive than Little Caesars, but I feel like it's better quality. Papa Murphy's is probably the best pizza joint in Port Angeles, but it is Take and Bake, so if you're looking for instant pizza, this isn't your place... but it's worth the wait if you have an oven. read more

So we've been getting Papa Murphy's at this store for the past couple of years. In that time, it's gone downhill quite a bit. We can no longer order on line. Last week I placed a phone order at 330 for a 545 pick up and when my husband arrived at 545 to pick it up, they had not even started it. This week I ordered the promo pizza but with a different crust and they put it on the promo (thin) crust. In fact, it does not matter what kind of crust you order at this location, YOU. WILL. GET. THIN. CRUST. I'm angry enough about this that I will be ordering from the Sequim store now, which is WAY out of my way. read more

Went to order online and can not do it anymore, so I called and the young voice on the phone said, "We are not taking phone orders." I asked him how I could order and he told me "I had to come to the Papa Murphy's and order there, but we are really busy." Passed on Papa Murphy's that night. I've been here many times, however when I went online to place my order today I was greeted by the information that this store does not accept online orders. I thought that was odd, so I called the store and asked if I could still use a coupon code that had been e-mailed to me. Their response: We're not affiliated with the online ordering, so we can't honor any of those codes or coupons. In this day and age, seriously? The newer location is actually an old bank building and there isn't a lot of signage, but it's supremely clean, service is excellent, prices are cheap, and made to order pizza was super quick. We pick up a pizza here when staying in La Push at Quileute Oceanside and surely make our neighbors envious. :) YUM. read more

Papa Murphy's is a franchise, although some of the stores are owned by corporate. This one in Sequim is a franchise (we think) and they know how to do things right. The staff seems to change frequently but that doesn't stop the great service. If they say your pizza will be ready in 20 minutes, it's usually a case of under promise and over deliver as they are always ready sooner than they tell you. Buying online or over the phone, substitutions are super easy, even if you are only changing half the pizza. I love their stuffed crust pizzas - the pizza dough is so yummy! As is their sauce. We usually order a Cowboy and substitute half the Italian sausage for either chicken or Canadian bacon since I'm not a fan of the sausage but my husband loves it. They always get the orders right. Our other fav is the bbq chicken - it's delicious! But so are all the others we've ever tried. We've been ordering from this location for four years and have never had an issue or wrong order. I called ahead at 4:20 to let them know I would be picking up 3 pizza's at 5pm. I arrived at a little after 5, and was informed the pizza's had not even been started, and it would be a little while because there were 3 or 4 ahead of me. A lady walked in and placed a NEW order right behind me, and her pizza was made and walked out within MINUTES! My pizza's were FINALLY done at 5:40, and while they were being made, they informed me they were out of certain toppings. I have also emailed Papa Murphy's corporate site about my issues, and have NOT received ANY kind of response. This was 2 weeks ago, and will DEFINITELY NOT be going back. I recently ordered the new Hawaiian pan pizza. It was great! The crust was buttery and really good. They are generous with the toppings. The price was reasonable and even better because the pizza was on special. We have been customers here for a long time, we usually get the cowboy pizza, it is really good. The service is always fast and pleasant. I also like that you can call ahead and then go through drive up to get your pizza. The side salads for five bucks are good, fresh and nice sized. Got a stuffed crust pizza. I have always been leery of these pizzas because they are raw in the middle all the time. They are high priced, too. I followed the directions, until the time to take the pizza out came, the pizza looked good, but I turned the oven down 50 degrees and left it in another ten minutes. Then I pulled it out -- looked good. Let it set 5 minutes per instructions. Cut it up, First bite good, but second bite mushy. I picked through the upper crust - golden brown on top, RAW in the middle. I pulled the upper crust off and ate the bottom because I had been craving this all day.
