I'm a big Jack-in-the-box fan. I like the tacos, onion rings, egg rolls, jumbo Jack and sausage egg croissant. Most of the Jack restaurants I have visited are usually 3 - 4 stars but I never write a review. I stopped off at the Spruce Street location which seems to attract an interesting clientele. On one trip a customer jacked up on drugs kept talking at customers and then walked out after placing his order because he didn't think they asked him the right questions. Today I ordered two tacos and an order of onion rings. The tacos were good as usual but the onion rings looked like they defrosted so they stuck together in a clump in the fryer. They were overcooked and chewy for some reason. The Manager gave me my take-out order and was nice. I usually don't frequent this location because it's not in the best area. Sorry for the 2 rating but the onion rings just were not even close to JIB quality at other locations. Hopefully today was just an off day. read more

I understand that working in the food industry is very hard, but these ladies look very angry and irritated every time I have come here. I don't get much time for lunch, so unfortunately I would have to resort to fast food sometimes. But there's nothing fast about this location. Stopped by Jack in the Box for a serious munchie run, and I was not disappointed. I grabbed the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, half fries, four onion rings, two tacos, one Ultimate Cheeseburger, and a caramel iced coffee and honestly, it hit every craving. The spicy chicken was crispy and packed a good kick, the fries and onion rings were classic comfort food very fresh out of the fryer, and the tacos... well, they're small and greasy might need to cook it a bit longer but flavorful--perfect if you're in the mood for something quick and satisfying. The Ultimate Cheese burger was solid, and the caramel iced coffee tied everything together perfectly. Portion-wise, this is a feast for one (or two, if you're sharing), and it's reasonably priced for all the food you get. Definitely a solid spot for a late-night or "munchie" run. Let's not forget about the serving time they were very fast especially when we order from their mobile app. Time spent was less then 10min in line. First of all once you walk into this establishment the lack of chairs and tables is one sign that eating in ,is not something they want you to do. At the counter there is one electronic order board to use. There is a new double patty burger that is offered and as seen on TV commercials that I wanted to try so it was ordered as a meal. When my number was called I looked at the tray that was thrown together like it was a rush job. With a handful of about 12 fries not even in a paper sleeve just literally thrown next to the burger, my next discovery was worse. I unwrapped the burger and what do you know... it had 1 patty. I returned to the counter and after standing there watching the workers debate who was going to help me I was finally acknowledged. I explained and showed the worker my receipt and his reply was unexpected. He tells me they ran out of double patties so they threw in a thicker patty to make it up. Without blowing up and going viral on this sorry excuse, I then asked if I could atleast get more fries than what was given. His next explanation was thats how meals are put together and he was doing me a favor by adding extra fries without being charged. I returned to my seat and tried to eat the burger, but it was nasty. I don't understand how Jack in the box can let this location stay open. The workers were speaking Spanish not knowing I also speak and understand Spanish. I was close to calling ICE on this location just because of the way they operate. I can't imagine what they do to others if this is how I was treated. Avoid this dirty nasty location at all cost. The final turn around, I caught an employee's eye. I asked if she was open and she said 5 minutes. They are hanging around talking inside. Well.... It's been 5 minutes and no one is coming to help. They made me wait several minutes at the drive-thru, even though I know they saw me, only to tell me AGAIN that "the machine is broken." I work out late at night at a nearby gym, and I've come here three - four times between 3-4 AM since nothing else is open, and this place is advertised as 24/7. EVERY TIME, they claim the "machine is broken," but they can never tell me which machine. I don't buy it. There's no way the machine is always broken. These people are absolutely LAZY. The franchisee and corporate need to fire everyone here. They're collecting a paycheck without doing the work. Management also needs to check themselves as an establishment is reflective of its leaders and I can tell leadership is lacking here. So, the person at the drive-thru says they're closed, so I park. I go on my DoorDash app, place an order for pickup, and they accept it. These people are playing games. They won't take drive-thru orders but are taking DoorDash orders? I don't get it. Is it because they can't reject a DoorDash order? I pick up my order and ask why they didn't take my order at the drive-thru but accepted it through DoorDash. They said the soda machine was broken (most likely BS)! If the soda machine is broken, then just take food orders without the soda! After reading some reviews, it looks like I'm not the only one dealing with this. At least this place is consistent--consistently BAD. Customer service isn't that hard. I would strongly advise corporate to shut this location down before someone gets sick. Before you place your order, just look around and imagine how workers might be handling your food behind closed doors because I guarantee they do not care about the job or the customers at all. Whelp. Was here yesterday to get food. Asked the person taking my order to make my burger to be lettuce wrapped and for it "to go". Person who took my order tried to give me my order on the bun. I don't usually go to Jack in the box but I came here with my kids to try the new loaded curly fries. The service is 0 stars. Online it says that they take Apple Pay but they do not. The people working there also do not speak English. I came in with my kids and went to the register and was completely ignored. There was a guy standing at the register playing with his cell phone. There were also a few other people on there that I could see near the front. I wait to be acknowledged and asked for my order but no one ever says anything.
