Nobody in line, store is quiet, yet they messed it up BOTH times. First time they come w/ cheese. Ok whatever, I removed what cheese didn't melt myself. The 2nd time? Over a 10 minute wait despite being the only car in line, they remember the no cheese part but gave me spicy instead of classic style, overloaded and drenched w/ spicy sauce & gross ass jalapeños. Both the order screen & receipt showed classic wraps. Store is run very poorly, young guy manager working drive thru and his staff are incompetent. Talk about useless unhelpful service. Accidentally posted my order at the wrong location and the location I was at obviously couldn't help me. I called the store it was accidentally sent to and was told we can't refund you or even give you the customer service number. Their food selection for vegans is very limited. If you come here basically you can get fries and a drink and that will run you about $8. Ridiculous if you ask me. Food is maybe a 2 but the price is a bad deal. It's good place to be stoned and chill, but there are homeless people outside, which isn't exactly mellow. Way better choices all around the mall. Place is a 1.5 but needs to improve so not rounding up. Staff does seem cool though, a lot of that is out of their control. read more

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Free Jumbo Jack Cheeseburger deal with purchase of $1+. For a free burger, it was good! Tastes of home cooking or what a burger would taste like if you make it yourself so it's clean but very simple. Ambiance: 2/5 - here for the speedy service and not for the ambiance. But definitely doesn't feel welcoming as there is a sign that says something along the lines of no loitering, time limit of 30 minutes while consuming food. Service: 5/5 - fast food place so very quick service Value for price: 5/5 - delicious food and very quick service. Very disappointing experience. The service was poor and the food was terrible. The fries were overcooked, almost burnt, and we ordered a chicken sandwich but were given one with beef instead. We paid almost $40 for just two sandwiches, two fries, and two Oreo shakes definitely not worth it. It also seemed like there was little supervision, as the staff didn't seem to care much about customer service or accuracy. While my custom chicken sandwich was perfect (hot, w/Swiss cheese and tomato... think chicken supreme) the jalapeño poppers had no jalapeños in them. I hate to leave negative reviews, I really do. And to Jack in the Box's credit, this isn't a negative review for the food. It's more for the service and the drive thru experience I had, but I want to stress beforehand that I don't blame this employee. There's a huge labor shortage in the service industry and I fully understand why. We ordered three large combos, two tacos and a seven piece jalapeño popper, and we requested ranch and taco sauce on the side. The older woman running the drive thru took our order and when we got to the window, took my husband's card, handed us three small drinks, and vanished for ten minutes. She did not give us a receipt. We tried to flag her down to correct the issue and she repeatedly would ignore us due to being extremely overwhelmed. When we asked if we were charged for smalls she cut us off, saying "I have one guy in the kitchen and me working drive thru. There are two people. We're only making small orders, we don't do large orders, and there are too many people here." She handed us our order in four small bags, and shut the window. We had no sauces when we got home, either. I get being overwhelmed and I really don't mind getting just a small order, but I would have appreciated this being made known to us while we were placing the order--even then, I can't be mad because I know she's overwhelmed. I also would have appreciated my receipt so that I could ensure we were charged the prices for small combos. Whoever this franchise owner is, they need to actually deal with the issues in their establishment instead of leaving their employees to fend for themselves. That poor woman looked ready to fight because we wanted clarification on our order size, I can only imagine how much worse treatment she's had to deal with. Torrance Food Crawl #80 I've sometimes used the Drive Thru very early in the morning and no complaints about service. The only comment I have about the breakfast items is that they can be quite salty. Today I tried the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. There is a very mild tang making this an almost spicy sandwich to me. Fresh lettuce was used, but should have been used in more moderation (see photo). Overall the sandwich is about what you expect and nothing more. The Curly Fries (a $0.39 upgrade charge) are plentiful, good tasting, but slightly greasy, especially compared to other times I've ordered them at other places. There is a sign on the door about free WiFi, but after several minutes I still hadn't connected to the guest zone, basically making this "feature" non-existent. CAUTION: If you use the Drive Thru be careful when you pull away. There is a blind spot on the right and someone could be coming down the sidewalk at the same as when you pull out onto Hawthorne Blvd. When I was there this morning, a car narrowly missed t-boning a bicyclist riding down the sidewalk. read more

I'm furious!! This Establishment is very unprofessional, rude,and Filthy. Every single time I visit it's always something they can't do or something they don't have. September 12, 2021 Today I was passing by and decided to stop and grab a quick bite before I ordered I needed too use the restroom I walked into the restaurant and I was standing for about 5-10 minutes without being acknowledged . Then , tried too you the restroom but I needed a key I then asked for the restroom key no one responded. At this point I'm frustrated because I'm pregnant and I have to use the restroom. Finally one of the team members acknowledged me and was just about to give me the key . The general manager said something in Spanish and then the team member said he couldn't give me the key . I have no problem buying anything I then ask can I use the restroom and she said no again . Once again I am 4 months pregnant and I have too use the restroom I then noticed the same gloves she used at the register she still had on cooking somebody's food with. I've previously work at a fast food restaurant during the pandemic. And what she just did was cross contamination. Sooo then I went to the door too see when was the last time the Health department came. There last inspection was 11-19-20 . I will definitely be giving them a call as well. They also don't have any of there Covid-19 guidelines up and they are also missing appendix 1 all there paperwork is expired. I have never had such bad customer service at Jack in the Box! And to make it worse this was a manager that was sooo rude and argumentative. This is the the location on Hawthorne Blvd next to CARMAX. It was 4:30 am. I was just coming from the LAX. I had a craving for a breakfast jack. I accidentally said jumbo Jack (but didn't notice that untilI left.) I guess that's where the confusion started. We weren't communicating very well over the speaker, so I drove forward. That's when I said I didn't want the orange juice she was about to hand me. She said "but you said yes when I read you back the order," I said "I couldn't understand you," We then continued to get the order straight. She was rolling her eyes and and scoffing and had a rude tone in her voice. Well, I got my food and took off. As ai was driving down the street I realized I had burgers. I went to the Jack in the box on Torrance Blvd. that restaurant was sooo much easier to deal with. This jack in a box has bad customer service but the worst thing of all is the low stock of Buttermilk sauce packets they always seem to run out whenever I order, they always say they can't give me more than 2 because of low stock. so my question is, is this jack in a box broke? Worst Jack In The Box ever! We came here because we wanted to try the new spicy chicken strips and waited over 15 minutes for our food. We asked if our food was almost ready only to realize the cook hadn't even realized an order was put in. We waited another 10-15 minutes for our food & take in mind we were the only customers aside from another pair of guys- plus we were the first to order. We got up to leave and ask for a refund, but were told to wait another 3 minutes for the food to be ready so we decided to do just that. FINALLY we were called to get our food and when we opened the two boxes of chicken strips we froze because after waiting about 25 minutes for our food we got some SERIOUSLY over cooked chicken that tasted horrible. We couldn't keep eating what they gave us so we went to ask for a refund & they said "that's just how they look."
