    Baran's 2239 Breakfast Burritos (Chorizo - $14):
    Luke L.

Tigre's Fuego is the sister restaurant of Baran's 2239 in Hermosa Beach and the taco shop was ranked #76 in Yelp's Top 100 Taco Spots in 2025 ( https://www.yelp.com/article/top-100-taco-spots-2025 ). [Parking]: Street parking only, but not impossible to find an available spot on Avenue E. [Atmosphere]: The shop has limited indoor bar seats and few small outdoor tables. No restroom is available. [Menu]: Tigres Fuego serves Baran's 2239 breakfast burritos only from Friday to Sunday. Other Yelp's top highlighted items are Fish Tacos, Carne Asada Tacos, and Turkey Carnitas. They also offer ceviches, burritos, and burrito bowls. *** Baran's 2239 Breakfast Burritos (Chorizo - $14): It came with red and green sauces. The green sauce was quite spicy and red sauce was even spicier despite having more flavor. Chorizo burrito was pretty decent as it already had a hint of spiciness. Unfortunately spiciness from sauces overwhelmed some of flavors from the burrito itself. Coconut Horchata ($6.00): A solid creamy drink, but on a slightly sweeter side. Baja Fish Taco (corn tortilla, cabbage, pico de gallo, crema, fuego sauce - $5.25): A solid fish taco with a nice vinegary kick from lime, but I had higher expectations given how pricey it is. Carne Asada Taco (flour tortilla, jack cheese, pinto beans, onion, cilantro, avocado salsa, salsa roja - $6.25): I actually like the carne asada a bit better than the fish taco due to smokey steak & crispy flour tortilla, but I could still taste a hint of salty aftertaste. *** Overall a good spot for breakfast burrito and I think tacos are a bit expensive as I had a better $5 taco from Tacomasa (in Long Beach, Cypress, El Segundo, and Brea).

First time! Friend wanted the breakfast burrito from this place and told me that they sell out quick. I came here 20 min before opening and there was a line. I got the bacon breakfast burrito ($14.50). It's already pre-made, wrapped in foil. It's decently sized but smaller than chipotle burrito. Comes with red and green salsa. It was super delicious and would be back. Although it's a steep price for a burrito when chipotle can do it larger and is not pre-made. It's a small restaurant and seating is very small and limited so walked down to the beach to eat burrito.

Now I almost why there's always a long line everyday. The service is excellent. The food is amazing. I think these are the key to a good food place. I can't complain when I was handed great tasting food that is within my neighborhood. Highly recommended.

Wowwwwww the carne asada Cali burrito was truly great. The meat was so juicy and well cooked and the tortilla soft and fresh. The ingredients were well balanced and flavorful. The restaurant is cute and small, and they have a few chairs outside. I will for sure come back!

I have to say, it's pretty dang good! Now I'm not sure it's the best in town but Tigre's Fuego certainly delivers a smack down among the best breakfast burrito! Also, the staff are really nice and upbeat!

Was in the area and craving a breakfast burrito so decided to check out this place. Unfortunately, we came in the afternoon and they were already sold out of their breakfast burritos and coconut horchata. So I ordered a cali burrito with pastor and it was probably the most flavorful cali burrito I've had. I really didn't need to add more salsa to it. Service was friendly. Limited seating with some counter seating inside and a couple small tables right out front. Will try to come back early enough next time for their breakfast burritos!

Right by PCH. Find a street parking nearby and do a little walk. The shop is fairly small with a couple indoor and couple outdoor seatings. The order was taken at the counter. The menu has a very interesting variety of tacos. The price are higher than most but justified with the size of the tacos; which they come in full size. The tacos were made within timely manner. The tacos were absolutely scrumptious which I wish I could eat more. The service was friendly and quick. Absolutely enjoyed the experience at Tigres Fuego. Its a 4.7 out of 5.

This is where you need to go if you are craving the best breakfast burrito! They sell them on the weekends till they sell out. They have a small parking lot and a few spots to eat outside. The service was fast as we got our order immediately once ordering. We got the bacon burrito and ended up getting their coconut horchata. If you are there that is a must order! The horchata was one of the best ones I've ever tasted!

It was only recently that I found out Tigre's Fuego is Baran's 2239's sister restaurant. I've been a fan of Baran's 2239 ever since I checked them out for Easter a few years back. Since my first visit in 2017; I have heard many things about their famous breakfast burrito. Sadly; getting one of Baran's famous burritos isn't exactly easy. You basically have to pre-order via Instagram starting Wednesday, and they sell out quickly. The preorders fill up quick and the burritos are also only available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! I remember sending a message 15 minutes after the story that burritos were ready for preorder and they were already sold out! This is where the sister restaurant Tigre's Fuego comes in. This is the other spot to get them. One does have to line up and they do not do preorders, but it's definitely more accessible to get burritos from here. I finally got to try burrito thanks to Tigre's Fuego. I now understand why so many people love it. I chose to get the chorizo and it was really tasty. The chorizo was savory and meaty. It also had crispy tator tots inside. I love tator tots and so this was a nice touch. Yay for Tigre's Fuego! I'll definitely be back to explore the other burrito options! The other burrito flavors are bacon and egg-only. There are special breakfast burritos but these are only available at Baran's. Nevertheless; I'm excited to try all the other flavors whether at Tigre's or Baran's! Thank you Tigre's for making these burritos easy to get. I will be back for more burritos soon!

Excellence - What else would you expect from the people that brought you Baran's 2239? TF brings a gourmet slant to a staple of our region. In Southern California, there is a Mexican restaurant on every other block, and yet the Baran's has effectively reinvented the wheel. The breakfast burritos, either chorizo or bacon are above and beyond anything you'll find in the South Bay (during COVID they offered specialty burritos as well, and hopefully they'll bring those back). Their lunch items however: tacos, burritos, etc. are world class. Easy in and out, counter service and outside seating... If you haven't tried this spot, you're missing out.

Breakfast burrito review! Score, I got one on a Friday just before 11 am. It was the last veggie but still delicious. Next time I'll get there earlier for bacon or chorizo and it would be even more delicious. Comes with 2 salsas (green and smoky red). Both had heat but not severe.

    Cecilia T.

We grabbed breakfast burritos here on a Saturday. The chorizo was very good, and the bacon was a close second. They are very densely packed with eggs, hash browns, and cheese, and are a solid breakfast choice. The breakfast burritos are premade, though, so you cannot customize them, and they run out fast. Be aware that the lunch menu does not start until 11, so before that the only option is the breakfast burrito. While we ate about a dozen people got turned away at around 10:15 because they were sold out. And then because it wasn't yet 11, those people were not able to order anything.

Ive heard a lot about the breakfast burritos at this place and have had my fair share of special burritos from their sister restaurant, Baran's, so last time I was in town I made a point to suggest burritos and a walk to the Esplanade for breakfast. The line was a bit long but moved fast as the burritos are already made and bagged as you order. We got chorizo and bacon burritos and walked the couple blocks to the beach. Each burrito comes with one red and one green salsa. The burritos were a hit with the chorizo being crowned the overall winner and a tie for the salsas. The red was so good and smokey and the green had a good bit of spice. This will definitely be a stop every trip.

If we hadn't done that I don't think we would have received any salsa at all. Most Mexican places at least throw in chips, but here you have to pay extra and they are not even good. The worst part, though, was the guacamole. It was completely rancid. The package was puffed up and the guac was literally fizzy, which is beyond disgusting. I was thankfully able to get a refund on that, but it should never have been sent out in the first place. Complete lack of quality control. This place is not a hole in the wall. It's just a hole.

Before her food was ready, she received an emergency call and had to leave immediately. That's the reality of being a first responder--when a call comes in, you leave immediately, no time to wait for your meal. Before leaving, she politely asked the cashier to cancel the order and refund her card. Instead of showing understanding or offering assistance, the cashier was dismissive and unhelpful. After completing the call, my daughter contacted the restaurant, apologized for the inconvenience, and again requested a refund. She was initially told that the receipt had been thrown away. Later, the receipt was apparently found, but she was then informed that if she wanted a refund--or even the food she had paid for--she would have to return to the location in person. The problem is that she lives more than an hour away and was only in the area because she was working. I called the following day in an attempt to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I was met with the same attitude. The employee refused to provide her name, refused to provide a manager's name, and refused to provide any contact information for someone who could address the complaint. To be clear, this is not about the cost of a meal. Had the employee been courteous, professional, or even remotely helpful, we likely would have let the matter go. Emergencies happen. Schedules change. We understand that. What prompted this review was not the lost food or the refund itself--it was the employee's rude attitude, lack of professionalism, and complete unwillingness to help resolve a simple customer service issue. I will also acknowledge that by the end of my phone call, I became frustrated and was not as polite as I should have been. I regret that. However, that frustration came only after repeated attempts to handle the situation respectfully and being met with rudeness and resistance at every turn. A business can recover from a mistake. What it cannot afford is employees who treat customers with contempt and then refuse to provide any way to contact management when a legitimate concern is raised. Management should be aware that this employee's behavior reflects poorly on the entire business. If this is how customers are treated when they encounter an unexpected emergency, then potential customers deserve to know before choosing to spend their money here.

The food was really good, there were some that I liked more than others but definitely a solid place for authentic Mexican

Yummy Hermosa Beach Taco shop! Whole in the wall location just steps away from the Hermosa Pier…read more You will find hightop bar seating inside and outdoor umbrella table and chair sets. Both locals and tourists seem to love this place. They are famous for their Birria offered in tacos, burritos and combo plates. We ordered breakfast burritos. The tortillas are made in house and are so very yummy. The All American breakfast burrito was a decent size burrito filled with bacon, sausage, eggs, cheese, and hashbrowns served with red and green salsa, which are both very fresh and tasty. For $2 order the guacamole sauce...so good! Chips are also fresh and made in house. If you are craving authentic Southern California tacos or burritos, be sure to stop by Tacos El Goloso, Hermosa Beach. I know there are other SoCal locations as well.

Walked past this place on my way to the beach and I just had to come back and try it!…read more Ordered 4 tacos dorados de birria (really they're quesabirrias). They were absolutely delicious. The tacos are nice and crispy and have a generous amount of cheese and meat. I'm sure they're good on their own, but I feel you can't enjoy birria tacos without lime, salsa, and a good dunking into the consome. The tacos came with an acidic green salsa and a red spicy salsa, both taste great. They also give you two slices of lemon, which is honestly enough for the tacos. I think the only way they could improve this plate is by adding a bit of extra cilantro and onion or radish on the side. Service was good. I was attended to quickly at the counter and had my tacos in like 5 mins. Given, I came while it was slow (12pm, weekday). The restaurant is small, but there's seating indoors and outdoors. I grabbed my food to-go and honestly I'd do it again to enjoy it on the beach. Definitely would come back!
