Meat and cheese burrito filled with chili con carne and cheesy cheddar goodness. Generous tender chunks of beef.

I was in the area so I thought I'd stop by for a taco and burrito. The tacos are just as good as Tito's so I was happy about that. The beef, cheese, and bean burrito... not so much. It was very large but something about the flavor just didn't match Tito's. Guess I'll just load up on tacos next time.

Beef & Bean Burrito... just fell apart

I'm guessing this Is not an authentic Mexican restaurant smh.. probably the most Americanized taco spot I've been too... I got the bean and beef burrito.. literally just beef and beans.. like it's some fancy Taco Bell smdh I'm never going here again.

the place was ok. the food cool. it was close to Tito's Tacos. So, if you are in the South Bay this place will taste just like Tito's Taco. Its a store front and simple no bells and or whistles. The service is simple and efficient. Price points are competitive and there is a parking shortage due to the nearby stores....I don't love or hate. I ll return at some point to give it another shot.

to go ordering. the taco and burritos were basically carnitas tacos. the chili cheese fries were basically carnitas chilicheese fries. a bit disappointing. wanted more reg chilicheese. the taco were crispy and the burrito was pretty big. its just ok though.

Might be just me but the servings seem smaller than before. Tacos used to be more stuffed and we used to get my chips although I'm grateful for the free chips provided. My go to are chicken tacos. Happy New Year. Ok, bye.

Solid taco, but not without its trade-offs. The beef taco is well-seasoned, satisfying, and honestly a step above Tito's Tacos in terms of flavor and overall bite. It hits that classic SoCal crunchy taco lane, done right. But the price creep is real. At $5.50+ once you add cheese, it starts pushing into territory where you expect a little more than just "solid." Good taco, no doubt, just not quite matching the value anymore.

We "found" Tom's during the pandemic and had been excited to find the "original" Tito's flavors. At the time, Tito's had been closed anyway, so we drove from Culver City to Torrance, and under the various shutdown protocols, knew that Tom's was only operating as a takeout window. With that said, at the time, the price was right because Tito's had already begun to over-inflate their prices, and had changed their recipe. It was worth the drive! But fast forward: Today is 12/31/25 and I was in the area. Had already planned on Tacos from a Culver City location for NYE takeout, but decided to see if Tom's was open while I was down there. I jumped on Yelp for the phone number and found a picture of menu from 4 months ago. I called and placed my order over the phone, a little surprised that I was given a total that was significantly more than my mental math. But it made sense when I arrived and saw the CURRENT menu. YIKES! I know, everything is going up... but I'm not really feeling that Tom's vs Tito's is a financial difference anymore. And for this trip, it was takeout anyway, but I was disappointed that they are still operating as a takeout window. It's actually very rare that I just end up in the Torrance area, and though I would absolutely drive down to eat at Tom's, it's not really convenient to drive down for takeout. As for the food, Mom enjoyed her taco but feels like something was missing- she couldn't describe what. The chips are on point. The salsa is delicious. The meat and cheese burrito is stuffed generously (as it should be at $14 for a burrito not served at a restaurant!)... but this would all taste so much better if it could be eaten fresh and hot on-site!

    Beef & Bean Burrito

It was a very good burrito, I was not sure what to expect but it was so flavorful and delicious!! I was having second thoughts because I'm a picky eater and sometimes some places make the asada burritos with weird chunks but this one was shredded slow roasted beef!! It was 100/10

    Beef Tacos

These crispy beef tacos really hit the spot! Grew up on the west side and frequented Tito's tacos a lot growing up and these tacos remind me a lot of them in their own way.

Small spot located in a strip mall that specializes in tacos dorados. All orders come with free chips and salsa here. The people here are friendly and you order from a window that's connected to the outside of the restaurant. I ordered one crunchy taco with cheese as well as a bean and cheese burrito. The flavors were good and the fried items had a nice crunch to them. The salsa is definitely close and well the flavors of the food to the other place that everybody obviously compares it to. This place first got on my radar because I read somewhere that they are affiliated with Tito's Tacos. Exactly how I am not 100% sure but I think it has something to do with being in the same family and this place broke off or something. The similarities are obvious including the prices, ordering style, and flavors. Definitely if you're craving the crunchy fried style tacos down in the South Bay this is a great option. Because it is located in a strip mall, parking is pretty easy to find around here.

    Is this like Tilly's Tacos?

Similar to Tilly's yes, but closer to Tito's. Tom's guac is close to Tito's; pourable, cool, refreshing (Tilly's was more traditional chunky and fresh). Tom's tacos are very similar to Tito's but Tom's tacos have no lard, that's a plus. Since… Read more

The enchilada's corn tortilla is wrapped around my favorite filling, tender and juicy carnitas. My favorite mole is the Mole Negro, black as the nighttime sky with a deep smoky and sweet flavors. The dry chilies, sesame seeds, nuts, Oaxacan chocolate, and herbs provide a velvety sauce for the chicken picadillo. The darkly hued Mole Coloraditos has a little bit of a spicy kick from its toasted chilies, nuts, sesame seeds, chocolate, tomatoes, and spices. It's hard not to use the shredded beef enchilada to swab the plate clean. I would seriously lick the plate clean if I was at home. OK, the last one isn't a mole. The Salsa Verde is tangy from its tomatillos, green chilies, onions and garlic. The crumbly chorizo and cheese enchilada is comforting. The enchiladas are topped with queso fresco, onions, and parsley. Parking: There's plenty of street parking, but you may have to walk a couple blocks.

I've been here before, and the birria tacos were exactly what I needed for a late-night craving. Crispy on the outside with a good amount of filling and strong flavor - they really hit the spot. I ended up having four of them. The consomé on the side was really good too - rich and flavorful, almost something I could've just had on its own. The street tacos were solid. The carnitas had that tender, slightly crisp texture, and the al pastor added a bit more seasoning and contrast. Nothing overcomplicated, just straightforward and satisfying. Service was friendly, and the setup is quick and casual. In the South Bay where places tend to close early, it was nice that they were open until around 10pm. We ordered a few tacos off the happy hour menu: fish taco, fried shrimp taco, chicken mole, and asada. Did not expect them to be as big as they were! Between two of us, we were stuffed from 4 tacos and could barely finish them. I really liked the chicken mole. I thought that the addition of the slivered almonds, pepitas and radishes was a delicious touch that really enhanced the texture with a bit of crunch.
