I've heard a lot about this place so I had pretty high expectations but I felt that the food lived up to the hype! The location was packed when we walked in so I had a good feeling already. The parking lot is pretty small but we were able to get a spot. The workers are all very friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. I got the combo with the two fish tacos and the plate was very filling. The tacos were super flavorful and went amazing with all the toppings they had. I also tried the shrimp taco which I'm not normally a big fan of shrimp but it was cooked well and I enjoyed it too. This place is great for a quick filling lunch! read more

I've been to the El Segundo location before and thought the fish and shrimp tacos there were solid. Unfortunately, this Lawndale location didn't quite live up to that experience. The tacos here were overloaded with sauces, and the fish ended up being a bit mushy. I also didn't like the very yellow tortillas. It may have just been an off day since the reviews are great and the parking lot was packed, even during a late lunch hour. We also tried the Baja burrito. It was massive in size but pretty bland unless you added salsa. Since I can't eat spicy food, it ended up being a very large but somewhat flavorless burrito for me. The fried shrimp tacos were better than the grilled ones. I also noticed the person in front of me ordered a shrimp tostada and it looked really good, so that might be something I'll try if I decide to come back next time. read more

I have been going here alot in 2025. This is my additional review for 2026. Took a break from work today to eat some fish tacos. Every Wednesday is $2.99 Fish Tacos. Arrived at this location at 11:30am. I believe this time slot is one of the best times slots of 2, to go to this location. The next time slot I advise is after 6pm. Parking is alot easier since it just opened up. 30 mins makes a difference. If I would of came at Noon, good luck finding parking! Today is the first time I tried a Sting Ray Taco, it was rather ocean gamie with a texture of a calamari octopus. Ill just stick to fish tacos next time. Delivery is very fast, I waited 2 minutes and my order was ready. There is an unlimited side bar of salted lemon chili peppers, onions and lemon. Kudos to that Sidebar for being gracious to customers. Not greedy at all. I came here on a recco from a nice lady who just cut my hair. Ordered 3 tacos, Al pastor, battered shrimp, and battered fish. I wanted to try pastor, Cuz that's what I usually do. I wanted the battered fish Cuz I heard that they're bomb here. For the shrimp, I had to ask which was better, and he replied with "battered" so fast, so obv I ordered that. The asked if I should order anything else, which is how I ended up w ceviche too. Pastor taco was really good, AND it came w a slice of pineapple, and I love when places do that. Then I tried the shrimp taco, and it was fiiire, which made me even more excited for the fish. AND THE FISH WAS FIRE TOO. The batter on them was super crispy! They have a small parking lot, and is the sort of place where you place your order at the counter and you wait to be called. They have a condiments station with seasoned onions, hot peppers, and lemon wedges. Their fountain drinks are Coke products and some fun drinks. I sampled the melon, and it was good, but preferred the lactose free horchata. The whole fried fish in front of another patron was very tempting (Mojarra Frita $18.99 fried fish served with salad and rice) and seemed to come with some taco wrappers on the side. But it was lunch time and I ordered a #3 combo - Un taco de camaron y un taco de pescado $12.49 grilled (a shrimp taco and a fish taco, rice, beans, and a soda), with the sauce on the side (as I was warned that it was spicy). The rice and beans were fine as fillers. The tacos though were very well filled and very good. And the shrimp were good sized too! Yeah, we were stuffed, and they were just two tacos! I originally reviewed this place in 2017. It is still a phenomenon. The parking lot is always full and can be difficult. I often park on Artesia over by the Thirsty Club. There are tables outside if there are none available inside. Fish tacos are cheap on Wednesdays, but it is always crowded no matter what day you go. The Baja taco is packed with both shrimp and fish and is huge. One of my coworkers always gets the grilled fish taco and says it's the best thing on the menu. I'm giving this place 3 stars as it's okay but honestly I've had better especially at other Ensenada locations. This place is located on the busy NE corner of Inglewood and Artesia. The building looks like it use to be a KFC or McDonalds but painted with their colors and their decorated their way. They have their own parking lot but it's tight. Because both Inglewood and Artesia have middle dividers, the only way in and out is West bound on Artesia or North bound on Inglewood. The lot is tight too so go slow and be careful, especially at night. The staff was nice. The answered my questions and explained the difference between items on the menu. They have a "condiment" bar that consist of onions, lemon wedges, and chili peppers. There are small plastic bags for you to carry these items. I've had the fish burrito and the grilled fish burrito here before and at other locations. They tasted okay but for some reason the other locations tasted better. Nothing wrong. It was not bad. It was still decent. But it wasn't what I expected considering seeing long lines out the door and my experience at other locations.
