Boycotting Jack in the box and all its locations after the Waianae location committed fraud on my parents credit card after they used it at the drive thru to purchase food orders. While the store still had possession of the card, they ran other purchases onto it and then handed the card back to my parents. Later after this visit, thanks to the bank being efficient at their job, they alerted multiple purchases were transacted. The manager responded to have limited authority and referred the matter to corporate in which she gave my parents a BOGUS phone number. Boycotting this food chain! read more

So... I went to jack in the box this morning and ordered 7 breakfast platters for my family. This is the product I received versus the product that is advertised. I have never seen a more pitiful looking meal and when I spoke to the manager, she had the audacity to tell me that "this is the proper portion sizes". I told her to take a look at the advertised picture on the window and asked, "does that platter look anything like the picture???". She replies " oh... they make it look bigger in the picture." REALLY??? They make it look bigger??? Are they, perhaps, using a smaller bowl too??? Because there is no way in hell those two pictures are the same portion sizes. Unfreaking real... WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! On Saturday 10/20/18, at approximately 7:30 PM, employee Uluwehi failed to secure lid of hot tea before passing cup to me. As a result of her negligent actions, I was burned on my hand between the thumb and index finger. I insisted in filing a written complaint and Manager Cheryl instructed me to drive around and enter into the store. When I entered the store, Cheryl said, "Let me take care of these customers and I'll deal with you". WTF? Uluwehi then sincerely apologized. After 11 minutes, Cheryl returns and hands me a blank piece of paper to write down my complaint. She was unaware of any procedures in reporting incidents of injury and "looked in the back office for a form". After 7 minutes of her "searching" and continuing to take customer drive through orders, she returned with the same blank piece of paper and asked me to write down what happened and my information. At that point I left the store as it was clear that there was no one who could help me or knew any sense of customer service. Absolutely worst experience. read more

Would have filled out a review on their site had they given me my receipt! Ordered a breakfast platter & a triple cheese & bacon fries. I know the pancakes are frozen, but usually it's soft when they put it in the platter container. Today they were rubbery & tough as hell. The loaded fries were a disappointment. It's Jack in the box so set your expectations as such. Super convenient except last time hubby got off late and came here for a snack we got pulled over for NO reason! So beware! Not everyone leaving Jack at 2 in the morning is drunk, some of us get off work and don't want to cook! Other than that fries can be on the cold side however burgers are messy and delicious. Love the Oreo shakes and always know food is going to be good if the manager/shift lead with the big flower in his hair is there! I come here pretty often, mostly when my kid is hungry after school or i'm craving a particular menu item. I've had my fair share of receiving wrong orders and yes, they are annoying, but i've had more pleasant visits than bad ones here and i've never had a bad experience with the food. I mainly hit up the drive thru and I have to commend 2 employees in particular that stand out to me. That's Niu and Sean (and a female manager/supervisor whose name I can't remember). They are friendly and thorough and their upbeat attitudes make me smile. My daughter has made friends with Niu and it's so cute that they always make sure to say hi to each other when we see her. Sean makes you feel like you've come to visit a friend and makes every visit fun. The drive-thru goes fairly quickly even when there a bit of a line, and I usually get my order correct so Good job guys! read more

well i had a morning appointment that got cancelled and wanted breakfast that was fast, but im in Waianae. Thought about breakfast jacks so i headed to Jack in the Box. The new restaurant is pretty cool. for sure the nicest jacks ive seen in a while. parked on the side and had lots of chairs. the staff was pretty cheerful too. too often its a grump fest at fast food spots. By far the worst jack in the box in Oahu Fries are always cold hardly I get lucky and get some fresh hot fries, my boyfriend wouldn't even eat his fries because they taste a day old and that's sad because I pay to get a satisfying meal, another time the fries were covered in black like the oil was dirty. I went into the drive thru and ordered a double jack combo and a combo #1 only to be told 18.69. So when I get to the window I ask excuse me I ordered the double jack combo she says yea that's the price for the med size so I say ok why are you charging me for cheese it comes with cheese hand her my debit card, she hands it back no receipt and walks away. I am assuming she's fixing my order. After a few minutes another guy comes to the window and says what you like ketchup so I no I want my damn receipt. He turns grabs it than hands me back the bag and receipt as I go to look at it he closes the damn window. At this point I'm infuriated so when I get home no surprise wrong food I paid for something I did not want. The crowd was like a herd of elephants, trampling each other to add more plaque to their arteries. The food, even tho it was a grand opening was tasteless and cold. Horrible experience and I was sick to my stomach after eating there. The building design doesn't match the area. The lines to get into the drive thru are blocking Waianae Valley Road and causing a traffic problem. Who was the designer of this project? Was there a vote at any town meeting? I remember last year when cruising around the Waianae area on Farrington Highway they were just in the process of building the new Jack in the Box. I recently got a chance to finally go inside and dine in and I was quite impressed by the interior of the place. I would say that it is definitely one of the nicer and fancy looking Jack in the Boxes on the island. The vibe and atmosphere is pretty fresh with modern looking interior tables and seating areas. I like how they have a picture of Jack on the beach which gives it a local/Hawaii theme to it without making it look too touristy of course since you are in Waianae out of all places. The staff and customer service is good. They have the typical solid Jack in the Box menu like all the other places. My favorites are the monster tacos and the classic Sourdough Jack. I recently got to try out the new waffle breakfast sandwich which is served all day. It was pretty good. I was expecting a "McDonalds McGriddle" taste to it but it has it's own taste and flavor to it. I understand that getting food poisoning from an establishment could be a one time deal, but why risk it? Anyway, food poisoning, what does it all mean? It means that either the employees did not wash their hands-GROSS, food is undercooked-can you say salmonella?, contaminated food-side of bacteria anyone? You get the point, any one of these reasons, which there are more of I'm sure, is enough for me to never return to this establishment and basically never eat at jack in the box again. On June 18th my father and I ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl (#15 I think) and a #11- a jacks spicy chicken, and onion rings, the things in common that we both ate seem to be the chicken, vegetables that went into the bowl and sandwich and the onion rings, so the culprit is one of those things for sure since we both got sick. Anyway, these were the only things we ate that day around lunch time until dinner time rolled around and we were deciding what to get for dinner however, we weren't hungry, and my dad says "something wasn't right with lunch huh?" I agreed. That began the most horrible case of food poisoning that I have ever experienced. I skipped dinner and began to feel worse as the hours passed, bam! 2am comes around and...
