One word: dismal Dismal 1980's rust and brown decor, u swept floors, and dismal food. The Jack in the Box classic patty melt sourdough sandwich I ordered (because of the fond memories from my favorite high school Hangout in SoCal) had a thin, well done hamburger patty that didn't come close to reaching the edges of the bread. Though the sign prominently displayed For the kitchen crew to remind them "Internal temperature of hamburger patties is 185 degrees" there is no way the patty on my sandwich was anything hotter than 80. The slices of sourdough grilled in butter like on a classic grilled cheese sandwich was missing any oil or butter or bacon grease when it got toasted-- No butter on the grilled bread-- just a slice of thin barely warmed and toasted bread laid on a flat grill for a moment or two to get warm. This Jack in the Box puts the ass in Fast Food. 35 minutes to make a chicken sandwich and two tacos? 35 MINUTES! I can understand taking 10 minutes, there were other people there after all. But not nearly enough people to warrant a 35 minute wait. In 35 minutes I could've, made 10 burgers myself (I did just a week ago), run a mile and complete half a game of Mario party. I could've done all this in the time it took Jack in the Box to make one chicken sandwich and two tacos. Sufficient to say, this Jack in the Box was slower than a starving ass that just traversed the alps carrying two pregnant women. Now slow I can deal with, sure I may have been in a rush, but it's alright if I'm a little late. What tips this Jack in the Box over the edge though? Floors that are greasier than the food. My feet feel disgusting, I feel disgusting and anyone who enters that store who wasn't raised in the sewers of NYC would feel disgusting. They clearly aren't cleaning the store , so once again I raise a question, if not working, what were they doing while making their customers wait 35 minutes for food? Watching The Lord of The Rings? The service here was honestly embarrassing. The kid who took our order was obviously very immature and had an attitude. He went as far as dumping 40 packets of ketchup in my hand when I asked for a few more. I'm so sick of establishments hiring young dumbasses that ruin customer service. Food: about as good as fast food gets. better than McD's. my burger needed more sauce. shake is pretty good. they have a soda machine. no ice. ask counter. Area: Pretty clean but some tables had a lot of food under but other didn't. Awesome photos in walls. also crazy awesomeness music. try dancing. no one will care. cause there is no one there. Bathrooms: HORRIBLE. Ligthing makes you feel like you're in a horror movie. smells gross. sink was dangerous. urinals were pooped in. don't go in there even if your about to pee yourself. read more

Don't normally review fast food restaurants, after driving through Winnemucca and seeing restaurants and fast food places closed and out of business we were pleasantly surprised to find not only this open but this location very clean and well-kept. Staff is extremely friendly and this place is spotless and appears to be remodeled and they actually care about your food here, kudos to this location! read more

I would not come back to this location. I came in with my granddaughter ordered, small fries, chicken sandwich and 2 tacos with drinks. Several other customers who came in after us were served. As we stood by the counter for over 15 minutes, although eye contact was made nothing was said by the staff. When the order finally came out, no apology for tie long wait, thanks for waiting, etc.. This is the only place In town that still has the lobby closed, after 'covid'. You have to go through the drive thru to order food, and wait 30 minutes. COVID IS OVER!! get with it and open the lobby again, so we don't have to wait 30-45 minutes in the drive thru read more

This gets 5 stars from us. The person who helped us was honest and gave us back the money we overpaid. The tacos were crispy, popcorn chicken was fresh, the burgers were also just made, and the curly fries were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Service was fast! Absolutely disgusted at this establishment. They took our order in the drive through (11/25/18 @ about 4pm). We get our order... they hand us our bag and tell us "we're all set". Well, they forgot our daughters items. So we drive back, grab the items and hit the road. My partner opens his ranch and it's rancid. Our stomach's completely turned and we threw our food away. If that was overlooked, what else could be. We are traveling from Idaho to L.A. and we don't have the time to go back but honestly it just sucked and my stomach is still in knots as I type this. read more

The workers are kind, but after living right next to this place for over two years now, I can only admit there hasnt been a single time any of us has eaten here where we havent been food poisoned or severely stomach sick. Kind workers, ghastly food. Theres something really wrong here. I can't eat here anymore, I've gotten so sick every single time. Its by far the worst quality jack in the box food I've ever had. The people working at this Jack in the Box take pride in their work. They greeted us upon entering the establishment. Our order was taken with a smile. The food was hand carried to our table. The food looked like the advertisements. The place itself was superbly clean, including the BATHROOM. I've never been in a clean bathroom at any fast food chain. I was shocked. A good shocked. I went inside to make a to go order. I waited over 15 minutes to be handed an incomplete order. I also observed the LARGE curly fry box was approximately only half full. When I showed Luis (cashier), his answer was "they're probably on the bottom of the bag." I asked if that was ok to serve food like that and he replied "yeah." I waited an additional 5 minutes for the rest of my order (chicken tenders). I again asked Luis if the half order of curly fries issue would be resolved and he said no. I took my order and left. When I arrived to my hotel, I noticed there were no napkins, nor forks (how do you eat hangry chicken hash without a fork?) This was the WORST experience I have had at any fast food restaurant. This is probably the worst experience I've ever had at any fast food place before!! When we pulled into the parking lot to get in line the line was almost all the way out to the road but that's what my wife wanted so we decided to stay in line. It took almost 45 minutes to get up to the board and when we got there it took them about 20 minutes for some one to take our order. When we got up to the window and they handed us our food and we left. After we opens our food we noticed that it was burnt and cold. Not a lot bugs me and I hate leaving bad reviews. But this needs to be addressed. When pulling up to the drive thru I got horrible customer service to start. Rude lady who didn't seem to have any sense of customer service. When pulling up to the window to pay, a guy at the front window just stuck his hand out waiting for my payment, did not even tell me a total or verifying my order with me. Got handed my order like it was a bag of trash. Also, I asked for no lettuce on my tacos but they had lettuce on them. Did not receive my drink either. Well, it's a Jack in the Box! Food was ok, staff was friendly, bathrooms were very clean!! It's your average, run of the mill fast food joint. One perk? I don't remember ever having eaten at a J in the B before moving to Winnemucca. I really like this place as a fast food restaurant. The $0.99 tacos, the Homestyle Ranch Chicken Club, and the Oreo Shake have made me happy on more than one occasion. They are centrally located and are open later than most of the "sit down" restaurants. read more

Two Tacos for $1.99. 30 ordered. How much is it? No rocket scientists here, it took two employees and a customer with a calculator to figure it out. And the one hamburger, no cheese? They put cheese on it. They did get the chocolate shake right but it came first so melted before everything else was ready. Check your order before you leave. read more

Night manager(s) are rude, employees are NOT CLEAN, watch them make you a shake and run their fingers all over the inside of the cup; gross - perhaps it would help to have a drive through operator / manager who understood * spoke english and didn't like to argue or act put out for being asked for sauces or napkins. read more
