Not exactly how true it is

Fast food spots get a bad rap and sometimes it's for good reason. I know what I'm getting myself into even though these days I rarely get fast good. I Also try to give the benefit of the doubt whenever I happen to go to a Fast-food spot, especially since again I rarely go. It's hard to do that with this particular visit to Jack in the Box and see that some of the other reviews may have some ground. My biggest problem is that there is an obvious language barrier with the workers here. I placed an order with one of the staff and he seemed to really struggle to understand what I was asking for. I finally just said that I'd just take a #1 small. Then the only thing I could get to drink was a pre bottled orange juice because the drink machine was down. I don't think I've ever seen that at a restaurant without some kind of back up like a smaller cooler with other soft drinks. Another staff began to bag my order and she did ask if I wanted it to dine in, which I did, but she kept bagging. It was ok and pointed for a tray. She then put it on a tray. She asked if I wanted sauces and I asked what she had, she couldn't answer and just kinda smiled and handed it to me. I asked for ketchup, and she walked away. I don't think it was out of rudeness, I think it was more she couldn't communicate and was nervous. Not a big deal, just took my food and ate. About what I'd expect. Not terrible, not great. I haven't been to Jack in the Box but a couple times, but I'm pretty sure service wise they can do much better.

i have no shame...i luuuv JackInTheBox 2/.99 tacos!

Been here a few times, mostly drive-thru - Rating this as an inexpensive, fast-food restaraunt Orders right, friendly service, fast, food hot and in my opinion, tasty. And YES, I DO love my 2/$.99 tacos. Green rating - great, everything comes in biodegradable paper.

Sad to give this review cause most of my reviews are Awsome! But one night had to pick up dinner on my way home ordered the chicken pita and when I got home after paying $6.52 it was a joke.. Not only was it close to $7 but It didn't come with a drink nor a side. I understand it's a fast food restaurant but unless you want to loose business Jack , you must pick up your game a little. This was not valued close to $7.. I placed a fork next to the pits so you can see what was given to me.. Oh! And it was slapped together so when I took it out of the bag That's how it looks like.. What's interesting is that I have yet to receive Any information from management and it's been over two months.. Sad..

This is not quite standard fast food. They have so many things on their menu that it sort of makes my head spin. My fiance and his daughter think this is the best fast food going, but I think it's slightly better than average and that's it. Most of my complaints center around breakfast. They serve their breakfast sandwiches on HAMBURGER rolls! To me, a breakfast thing should come on a proper buttermilk biscuit, and since we don't have Biscuitville here, McDonald's will have to do. Hamburger rolls. Really. That is so gross! Their fries are OK but not my favorite (I can never really decide but in the fast food category I think McDonald's fries are best.) Onion rings are really variable; if they make them fresh for you, they're pretty good; if they've been waiting for any length of time, they suck. The burgers are acceptable though I don't like the ciabatta thing. I prefer the buns at Burger King. I give them an extra star for special-ordering anything. You'll never get any grief about the sauce you want or don't want, sandwich topping choices, and the like. The dining room and drivethru are both open 24 hours which can be a good thing sometimes, especially in Woodinville. They just remodeled the interior of this location and they did a nice job. It's a pleasant place to eat as long as there's not too many of the coffee-can-muffler-Honda teenagers hanging around.

$3.98 for six onion rings!! Shocking!

The Lynnwood one is more open concept which isn't as cozy but definitely more spacious if that's what you're looking for. They have a wonderful selection of games and cards, a corner dedicated to graded cards, stairs leading to a D&D room, a front counter with a food/beer menu, and my favorite part- the outdoor patio next to the front door. We quickly made our purchase and left but I'm really hoping to come back and play a board game on the patio soon! Service (5/5) The staff here are extremely kind and attentive. Food & drink: (4/5) Ironically only one person in my six person group likes beer, with two others (including myself) who are turning around to it. With that being said, I got the american pie cider, two of my friends got various IPA's that I'm failing to remember names for, two others got root beer, and another got a kombucha. I really enjoyed my cider! It was refreshing and I would definitely get it again. As for food, we got fries with truffle oil and a monster cookie with vanilla ice cream. It was all so good! I would only say that the fries are in need of more salt but that's something I could've easily asked for (was too lazy in the moment). Service: (5/5) STELLAR staff here. Our group of five stopped in, after visiting the nearby lavender farm on a Saturday afternoon, with all of us loving it. It was a beautiful afternoon in the Pacific Northwest, and our son-in-law drove us to this shop when my wife's mom suggested we all go for ice cream (her treat). Nobody disagreed (duh). It is located in downtown Woodinville, with non-metered street parking being the norm. Serviced was great and it wasn't too busy, which was a good thing since the unusual flavors required a bit of sampling. My daughter and her husband got a 2 scooper ($8.95). The rest of us shared a flight ($13.95) which is a choice of SIX flavors in a banana split type dish. Quite a few of the offerings are Vegan (relying on pea proteins), and are very serious about eliminating cross contamination (dedicated scoops for these ice creams that are stored in a different freezer). There was outside seating, so their dog was able to sit with us as well. Out of the six flavors chosen (Vegan Soursop Sorbet, Pickle, Vanilla, Espresso Bean, Strawberry Balsamic, Death by Chocolate), I really liked the Espresso and Strawberry. The Pickle was definitely worth trying, and one could clearly taste the diced/minced pickle pieces throughout, and could actually taste the pickle juice squirting out a little bit as you bit into it. It's unusual and a seasonal flavor. After visiting, I learnt that the owner had graduated from the dairy program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which made me happy. Both my wife and I went to school there, and we raised our daughter in the Madison area, with many happy memories of eating both Babcock ice cream from the University Union and the Chocolate Shoppe (which is HQed there). I found it interesting that this store is located so close to the University of Washington, which I've always thought of as the second 'UW', to the primary UW in Wisconsin. But in reality, outside of the old Big Ten country (i.e. the Midwest), it looks like UW is thought of as Washington, with the domain uw.edu belonging to it, as well. Oh well...
