Paddy and the Rats - Party Like A Pirate. I was eating lunch next door at Von's 1000 Spirits Woodinville on 5/25/25 and had some of their cocktails at their Seattle location as well the night before. The BEST VODKA that I have ever had!!! I knew Northwest Spirits supplied the spirits that were used in Von's crafted cocktails and I was determined to buy some bottles of their stuff before heading home. Now I'm kicking myself for not buying any Bourbon too! I was told Northwest Spirits opened at 2:30 PM and I was trying to do all the math, angles, and vector calculation in my brain (what was left of it). That would mean I'd have to drive back to Woodinville after going to the Boeing Factory tour in Everett, what a pain, especially with two grown men who were snoring in the car waiting for me while I shopped earlier that day at Trader Joe's - they were tired! I don't think they wanted me driving them back and forth across Washington for a shopping spree like I have been for the past 2 days. Absolute torture (for them, not me). It was just sheer luck that the door was open at 12:53 PM. We walked in. I held my breath. A beautiful, wonderful, awesome, terrific, angelic man appeared behind the counter; I swear a halo appeared above his head - I said that because he was actually there early. He wasn't even on the clock yet but graciously agreed to sell us the vodka, and he was nice about it! His name was Bryn. What a wonderful guy!!!! We didn't get to try to try their cocktails at the bar as we were just lucky enough to buy their products, but next time, baby!! I bought 4 bottles of vodka (no, they were not all for me, some were gifts - lol ... hehehe...).

Northwest Spirits is attached Von's 1000 Spirits restaurant/bar. I was here on a Thursday night for trivia right after dining at Von's. I didn't know you could order food from Von's to be delivered there, but it was great that I got to experience both on the same night. They have a relatively small tasting room with high tops inside as well as patio seating. I don't usually like bourbon aside from a Paper Plane cocktail, but their menu said they were voted for 2024 Best Bourbon in the Northwest. So I got the Smoked Black Manhattan, and to my surprise I really enjoyed it! It came out with a glass cover to contain the smokiness, so the presentation was 10/10. Trivia night was fun. I liked that we had to trade papers with another group and grade each other's. It made the whole process move a lot quicker than most trivia nights that I've participated in. Overall, I loved the chill vibe of the tasting room and the bourbon cocktail. I would definitely come back just for the Smoked Black Manhattan.

Such a cool little tasting room! We popped in while waiting for our table at Von's 1000 and ended up loving it. The cool part is we could take our drinks with us when our table was ready. The Cloud Cover Old Fashioned was awesome... great presentation and it came with a little caramel bite (so good). The whole place smelled like smoke in the best way. The Hibiscus Sparkler was really pretty and super sweet -- perfect if you're into that. Overall, great vibe! Not a ton of seating, but definitely worth checking out.

My husband and I came in one evening after eating at Von's and it was popping for a Friday evening! There was live music, lots of people and almost difficult to find a seat and a line-up inside! Definitely the place to be on a Friday night (or if you're waiting for Von's). Luckily we just came out of dinner at Von's and decided to stop by because they have HH from 6-9pm (right after Von's HH ends). They don't offer food, but you can always order take-out from Von's and they bring it over! The HH menu only has 3 cocktails on it but for $2 off the list price (not a great deal but we still tried). Drinks were delicious and bartender was nice. I wouldn't say that it was a terribly unique or outstanding drink - but they were both solid cocktails. The one reason that I dock a star is due to the parking situation! They offer "valet" parking but most of the time, the lot is full and it's hard to get into the bar even if you wanted to go.

Best bartender around! Katie had great suggestions and was so fun to chat with. She made us feel very welcomed and excited to try all the tasty drinks. Watching her make all these beautiful cocktails was a treat itself! Thank you Katie

I really enjoyed the vibe here, pretty cozy space, a little outdoor area, enough room to chill with your friends at a table. Service was pretty quick and ordering was easy. Bourbon flight: three of their bourbons in pours and comes with a dropper of water if any of the bourbon sting your nostrils (in my case anyway) Cloud cover old fashioned: a great old fashioned with some solid smoke coming from the cloche to your table, recommend this cocktail Scratch Manhattan: solid Manhattan for a great price! An easy choice, would get this again I went on a Saturday night and valet parking was mandatory as there was limited parking. Vons 1000 spirits next door made this area pretty busy!

Came for Bark & Bourbon, which is their dog-themed happy hour on the first Sunday each month. Had such a great evening! Tara was super sweet and attentive and made a mean cocktail! The Cloud Cover old Fashioned is perfect! The Stone Fruit Old Fashioned is sweet and delicious! Our pup really enjoyed his pup cup and meeting lots of new friends. The inside is warm and cozy and the outside patio is very cute. Will be back for many more "yappy" hours. :)

Fantastic customer service, menu, and ambiance! Came here for a 50th birthday celebration and had a blast! There's complementary valet, so parking is super easy. Menu is fresh foods and delicious drinks! Tara and Kaitlin are spectacular servers, once they "know" your flavors, you can trust you are in good hands for getting scrumptious drinks! Will definitely come back again and highly recommended!!

    Hot Buttered Bourbon

We stopped in on a whim after driving by and thought it looked cute. We didn't want to do full food (Vons) so stopped at the tasting room. So glad we did! Flight was excellent - I highly recommend the Hot Buttered Bourbon which was the new drink. And Bryn was amazing! Great conversation. Our new favorite spot and we will be back!

Northwest Spirits is a fun place to check out as part of your booze-fueled-tasting day in Woodinville. We had a fun time here with friendly staff and a menu that offers different alcohols to taste. A group of us came here in the afternoon and the place was steady. The room isn't that large, so I recommend making a reservation if you're coming with a large group, which you can easily do online. The space used to be a tasting room for a winery as it's next to Cascade Cliffs winery and near Von's. In fact, you can order takeout from Von's and eat it here at Northwest Spirits, which is a good option, especially during happy hour when it's 15% off takeout food from Von's. I tried the Northwest Flight, which came with a tasting of their vodka, gin and two bourbons. The bourbon is the specialty here, but you'll like any of their alcohols they offer. Plus, they have creative, sprit-forward cocktails. Enjoy them outside on the patio with the fire pit and you'll have the best experience here. I'm glad I discovered Northwest Spirits, a nice change up from the wine tasting rooms.

I'm embarrassed to say that I have known about this place for nearly a year but didn't Visit until recently. Definitely this was my loss! They have great outdoor and indoor seating with fire tables on the patio and a fun atmosphere inside. They have excellent craft cocktails made with their own spirits and I highly recommend trying one of the smoked old fashioned's. Service is on point, and although they don't serve food, their sister restaurant one door over does and you can order from inside the bar for takeout. Sort of like a food truck set up but better and the food is excellent too! I highly recommend trying this place out if you're in

Justin and Bri were awesome--super friendly, knew their whiskey, and made the whole experience fun. Great drinks, great vibe, can't wait to come back!

We tried the house focaccia with honey lavender butter, sausage rolls, crispy mushrooms, steak frites, burrata, and poutine. I couldn't choose a favorite if I had to. It was especially fun because it was a Canadian and Australian inspired selection, and our friend who we were with is both Canadian and Australian, so it pulled at all the heart strings. My friend and I ordered a bunch of dishes to share. We got the goat cheese and beet salad, which was fresh and lovely with an abundance of cheese. The small size was plenty to share. We also got the fries, yum! Their shoestring fries are always crispy and great. For mains, we got the mushroom risotto and the cod. I found it a little odd how big the mushrooms were in the risotto since I feel like they are traditionally cut small in dishes like this, but it was creamy and great. The cod was crisp on the bottom and sat atop a flavorful pile of lentils and creamed cauli. So good! Found a table in the bar area that was just right with beautiful view of the whiskey bottles lining the window. We got prompt attention and reviewed the menu for the snack. I was about to get fish and chips but was steered toward the Cubano pork sandwich with french fries. My wife got a caesar salad with romaine instead of kale and we decided to try the fried pickles too. No drinks other than water as we had plans afterward. The positives is the location, the atmosphere and they had all the pub fare you would expect. The only thing that dampened the pleasure was everything the fries, the sandwich, the salad, and even the sauces tastes quite salty to me. My wife mentioned to me seeing red edges on the romaine in her salad typically meaning not as fresh as it should have been. Definitely a nice place for beer drinking in the bar or outside on the patio during these springtime days. Not sure of the root cause of the over seasoning, but I'll ask for lighter next time.
