We've been going to this Papa Johns location for years and I can't believe I've never written a review. They've always made our pizzas exactly as ordered online. They have consistently solid deals, making them at least competitive if not cheaper than other local shops. It's ALWAYS the same guy who hands me our pizza with a smile. I think his name is Shawn but I keep forgetting to confirm because I get pizza-induced amnesia. Today, they just blew us away to the point where I realized my mistake in not bragging on my local pie shop. My wife went to pick up our order and mentioned that my daughter asked for PJ's pizza for her birthday dinner. They asked if she could wait an extra couple min and ended up giving us an order of the Cinnamon Pull Aparts. We've never had those before, but we'll get them again. We ordered XL pizza with 5 toppings and what we received was an XL pizza with Small size toppings - the surface area was 65% mostly cheese with a few super tiny-chopped toppings in the center. This made for a bland pizza with very little flavor. Not worth the money paid and it's very disappointing. Also, my husband picks up our pizza sometimes instead of using delivery and the cashiers have been very unprofessional and antagonistic at least twice in the last month. The last time we ordered from this location our order was messed up--cheese was missing from the cheesy bread & from some of the pizza we ordered, namely the "cheese" pizza. It was actually quite comical and both my husband and I chuckled about it, but we had just gotten back from traveling, were all tired, and our kids were bummed their cheese pizza was cheese-less. So I begrudgingly called the store to see what could be done because, again, having just gotten home from being gone all summer and not having a ton of groceries on hand yet, pizza was what we decided on and nobody wanted to eat cheese-less cheese pizza and cheese-less cheese bread--such a crime! LOL Anyway, I called to let the store know about our order to see what our options were, and the manager, Chad, answered. I was super polite and was apologizing on the front end for even calling, but told him about the cheese-less order, and no more than halfway through explaining what was going on with our pizza (and not having asked for anything), he cuts me off. You could tell he was angry. Like mega grumpy. And it didn't make sense to me because I'd barely had a chance to speak. But he stops me and says, "yeah, I'm not giving you credit or refunding your credit card." I paused for a moment because I was caught off guard by his tone and being cut off. I asked him what my options were since it was clear he sounded angry and didn't want to help and he said, "we can try remaking your order, but we're super busy, so it will be a while. But I'm NOT refunding you or giving you credit. That's your option. Take it or leave it!" And then he started ranting about them being "slammed", among other things. By this point I was asking myself if I was in the twilight zone or something. This guy was super angry, and very clearly didn't want to help. Because of this, there was no way I was going to take him up on remaking the order because I didn't want him handling the food if he was this mad. So I ask him instead, "is there a reason you're being so salty towards me and not wanting to help? Because we've never called with a complaint before." And he goes, "YEAH. Because you sound EXACTLY like somebody who called last week with the exact same complaint and I'm not refunding you this time!" He continued on ranting and raving and very clearly didn't want me to speak because he kept talking over me, but I finally managed to say, "I've never called your store before ever. We've never had an issue previously. And we literally could not have been the people to call you last week because we've been traveling all summer." To which he says, "yeah, I bet that's what you said last week too." By this point it was abundantly clear he was not going to help, despite the fact you can literally see in my order history that the last time we had ordered was in June, so that was the end of the call. I was absolutely flabbergasted that this guy was so ragey, despite me being very polite and apologizing profusely at the start of the call for even bothering him. But he was determined I was lying, wouldn't even look up my account history to double check, and sounded borderline crazy with how he was carrying on. So I posted on a local neighborhood group about my experience as a head up and also to inquire if other people had similar experiences, and wouldn't you know it--I had lots of feedback from other folks complaining about this guy, as well as encouraging me to contact corporate. So I did. I submit a complaint because if other people were having issues, this wasn't an isolated incident and this guy was not manager material. At a minimum, he needs EXTENSIVE retraining. I got a response back from a guy named Andy telling me the local manager would call me back to discuss, but I never received a call. When I emailed Andy back to let him know Sean hadn't called me, it was radio silence. At this point I don't really care to hear from any of them because I won't be going back to this location, and likely won't order from Papa John's again in the future at all, but I figured it was worth sharing here because I'm sure they did nothing. If I can prevent anybody from receiving cheese-less pizza and verbal abuse, it's worth it! read more

We ordered a large pizza, easy on the sauce, with pepperoni and olives. Simple, right? Evidently not. What we got was a large pizza, absolutely SLATHERED in sauce, with extra olives and ZERO pepperoni. Seriously, guys? An olive pizza? You didn't even try. We will never order from them again. My daughter picked this pizza for the Yelp Big Night In 2.0 a couple of weeks ago. She seems to like Papa John's Pizza and has ordered it several times as of late. They do deliver and there is one nearby. She ordered a large cheese pizza (great for leftovers!) and a side of garlic breadsticks. This place is open for take out or delivery during the pandemic. Excellent pisza at the right reasonable price. They have a counter for chili flakes and parmesan cheese packets for customers and some flat 9" plates --if needed. The ambiance feels a bit outdated and the lighting inside is just off. No space for dine in. Only takeout. read more

Ever since Papa John's started using door dash for deliveries they are Horrible. Dashers never come in a reasonable amount of time! Like right now we ordered over two hours ago, it's been saying the dasher is waiting to pickup the order for over 40min. The app shows the dasher is not even at the restaurant. He won't answer his phone or respond to txts. DoorDash says they won't do a full refund and even they can't get ahold of the driver. This is the 3rd time we have had issues with Papa John's delivery. Time to go back to Dominos who has real drivers who do their job. Papa John's stop using DoorDash and get real people back!!! read more

We ordered Papa John's pizza from this location for our kids birthday party and it was great. The food was delivered exactly on time, the pizza was really tasty - kids and grownups all agreed. The interaction with the staff was great from beginning to the end. Highly recommend! read more

I order pretty regularly from this location and they normally do a great job. But my last order which was a few days ago had a few mistakes. But it's probably too late to notify them to have them correct it. First thing they messed up in my order, I asked for cheese dipping sauce in all 4 of the pizza sandwiches I ordered. I only got two cheese dipping sauces with them and two garlic butter sauces. Next, I ordered 2 orders of wings (one Garlic Parmesan and the other Honey Chipotle). They delivered Garlic Parmesan Chicken Tenders with almost no sauce, and Honey Chipotle Wings with barely any meat and very little sauce. Lastly, the Jalapeno Poppers were minuscule in size. They should make them a little bit bigger for the price they cost. Luckily, I bought two orders of Poppers. Wtf chuck?!? Total waste of money! Smh. Not impressed in the slightest. A little perturbed actually. I would expect the lack of quality like this from Domino's or Pizza Hut, but not Papa John's. read more

Happy Valentine's! Was this heart shape pizza worth it? Absolutely not. This "large" pizza is comparable to their original small pizza. An 8 year old child could finish this themself Two adults would need about 2-3. Taste isn't any different from other pizza. We also did delivery which took an hour and was cold. It was an okay experience. But Next time, skip the hype and order your usual pizza. More for your buck. read more

Every time something has gone wrong, from loosing my order and lying to me while I wait for them to make and now placing an order online only to be called and told they no longer make "pan pizza". I could understand if they had at least offered to make the same pizza with a different crust, I mean that's really what makes it a pan pizza, but no. They have the best customer service. They're accommodating and kind. We ordered pizza in a snow storm and they were quick to help us get our food fast and with very little hassle! The food was hot and delicious and accurate. I'd recommend them any day of the week, just for the customer service. The pizza is tasty and well-made, the delivery drivers are courteous and prompt, and the service was very thorough. That said, both times we've ordered in the last week, we've all gotten extremely ill afterword. I'd advise the kitchen crew to doublecheck their cleaning process and ensure that there's no contamination and that unsafe cleaners are being thoroughly rinsed after use. 3 stars refers to the papadia which is what I enjoyed. We decided to order to do a pizza taste comparison since we always order domino's. I'll say pizza wise, it was very doughy even for my partners taste. We also found out that their jalapenos were pickled jalapenos and so it caused the pizza to have a particular taste that we did not appreciate personally. I will say that their pizza is a lot cheesier than the other brands but unfortunately it did not make up for the lackluster dough. Additionally I think we were really missing having a seasoned crust. The wings were pretty standard and they were tender. They're a bit better than domino's since they were meaty. The papadia however was actually really tasty. Because it was a flatbread sandwich type and it was crisped up it was actually really good. And it was a nice filling to dough ratio at least in the center. The edges could have a bit more but, probably hard to hold together. It was a bit tiny though. It was cut in two pieces and each piece felt like maybe 2 slices equivalent? Which means 1 papadia was like half a pizza. Definitely would be willing to order a papadia again but unlikely that me and my partner will get the pizza again. read more

I really appreciate this location going the extra mile. They've added a couple extras for me which is what makes me really appreciate them. I tried them three times since they reopened and quite possibly the worst run delivery service in the area. I can drive to their store in no more than 8 minutes with stop signs and routinely the delivery guy takes 30+ minutes to get to my place. I picked up for my first time today and everyone in the Papa Johns was so incredibly nice! I used a free pizza card (I also get delivery around twice a month) and I was so happy with how simple it was. The team working really brightened my stress-filled evening and put me in a really great mood in the few minutes I was inside picking up my go-to simple dinner plan. Tried something different from our usual go to places. This will not be added to the list. Ordered online. Opted for updates to be sent via text. Updated showed out for delivery earlier than estimated so I was excited. Rather than going to the front of our apartment building, the delivery driver pulled into the parking garage. We live in a secured building with no access from the garage for anyone but residents. Driver tried to call twice but poor reception in the garage caused the calls to drop so they texted. I had to go walk around the parking garage to find the delivery driver. Got my food and brought it up to my apartment. Pizza was cold, one drink was missing, they skimped on all ingredients except for the onions. Totally unimpressed. Too many other options to bother with this to-do pizza again. read more

Pizza was decent, though not even close to what I expect from Papa John's (very light on the cheese - and the only reason I could think of, aside from laziness or negligent, is the fact that I had a 50% off coupon - which, I didn't realize, meant they were going to skimp on the toppings). I contacted the store to let them know. Manager offered an apology but nothing else. I will probably take my business elsewhere in the future.
