The last time we ordered from this location our order was messed up--cheese was missing from the cheesy bread & from some of the pizza we ordered, namely the "cheese" pizza. It was actually quite comical and both my husband and I chuckled about it, but we had just gotten back from traveling, were all tired, and our kids were bummed their cheese pizza was cheese-less. So I begrudgingly called the store to see what could be done because, again, having just gotten home from being gone all summer and not having a ton of groceries on hand yet, pizza was what we decided on and nobody wanted to eat cheese-less cheese pizza and cheese-less cheese bread--such a crime! LOL Anyway, I called to let the store know about our order to see what our options were, and the manager, Chad, answered. I was super polite and was apologizing on the front end for even calling, but told him about the cheese-less order, and no more than halfway through explaining what was going on with our pizza (and not having asked for anything), he cuts me off. You could tell he was angry. Like mega grumpy. And it didn't make sense to me because I'd barely had a chance to speak. But he stops me and says, "yeah, I'm not giving you credit or refunding your credit card." I paused for a moment because I was caught off guard by his tone and being cut off. I asked him what my options were since it was clear he sounded angry and didn't want to help and he said, "we can try remaking your order, but we're super busy, so it will be a while. But I'm NOT refunding you or giving you credit. That's your option. Take it or leave it!" And then he started ranting about them being "slammed", among other things. By this point I was asking myself if I was in the twilight zone or something. This guy was super angry, and very clearly didn't want to help. Because of this, there was no way I was going to take him up on remaking the order because I didn't want him handling the food if he was this mad. So I ask him instead, "is there a reason you're being so salty towards me and not wanting to help? Because we've never called with a complaint before." And he goes, "YEAH. Because you sound EXACTLY like somebody who called last week with the exact same complaint and I'm not refunding you this time!" He continued on ranting and raving and very clearly didn't want me to speak because he kept talking over me, but I finally managed to say, "I've never called your store before ever. We've never had an issue previously. And we literally could not have been the people to call you last week because we've been traveling all summer." To which he says, "yeah, I bet that's what you said last week too." By this point it was abundantly clear he was not going to help, despite the fact you can literally see in my order history that the last time we had ordered was in June, so that was the end of the call. I was absolutely flabbergasted that this guy was so ragey, despite me being very polite and apologizing profusely at the start of the call for even bothering him. But he was determined I was lying, wouldn't even look up my account history to double check, and sounded borderline crazy with how he was carrying on. So I posted on a local neighborhood group about my experience as a head up and also to inquire if other people had similar experiences, and wouldn't you know it--I had lots of feedback from other folks complaining about this guy, as well as encouraging me to contact corporate. So I did. I submit a complaint because if other people were having issues, this wasn't an isolated incident and this guy was not manager material. At a minimum, he needs EXTENSIVE retraining. I got a response back from a guy named Andy telling me the local manager would call me back to discuss, but I never received a call. When I emailed Andy back to let him know Sean hadn't called me, it was radio silence. At this point I don't really care to hear from any of them because I won't be going back to this location, and likely won't order from Papa John's again in the future at all, but I figured it was worth sharing here because I'm sure they did nothing. If I can prevent anybody from receiving cheese-less pizza and verbal abuse, it's worth it!

Great!!! A Take out must. We rolled one and cooked on bbq! Coming back soon! (Why do I have to keep writing? I said what I wanted?)

My daughter picked this pizza for the Yelp Big Night In 2.0 a couple of weeks ago. She seems to like Papa John's Pizza and has ordered it several times as of late. They do deliver and there is one nearby. She ordered a large cheese pizza (great for leftovers!) and a side of garlic breadsticks. This place is open for take out or delivery during the pandemic. Give them a try!

The sandwich was delicious, and you can tell they focus on the details that matter. For a great cheesesteak, it all starts with high-quality bread, and they absolutely nailed that. The roll was fresh, soft, and held everything together perfectly. Combine that with well-seasoned meat and the right balance of ingredients, and it makes for a fantastic sandwich. If you're craving an authentic, well-made cheesesteak, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

I love a classic cheesesteak so my typical order is the Philly Cheesesteak with onion, pepper, and mushroom. Belly Buster - The staff said it's about 2 oz more meat. I've seen some comments that there's no really a difference between belly buster and regular, but after having over a dozen of these I will say that it may not look different, but it's noticeable while eating. There's much less bread feeling every mouthful with the belly buster and tastes a bit more salty and flavorful. Philly Cheesesteak w/ onion, pepper, mushroom - Bread is soft and warm. Steak with onion, pepper, and mushroom is piping hot with cheese melted on top. Garlic Fries - Crispy and well seasoned with a moderate amount of garlic Fried jalapenos - You get 3, they're great if you love jalapenos. I have a reasonable spicy tolerance, but i thought they were a bit too spicy by themselves. Maybe adding them into the sandwich would be better. This location is open pretty late. My old complaint is that they aren't open in Sundays. The place is always really clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

If you can imagine a mashup of both a regular fast-food joint and something you see in a K-drama, you get the overall interior of this place. They even sell macaron ice cream sandwiches near the front! We did have to wait just a little bit even though the restaurant wasn't a full house. Menu consist of fried chicken, chicken sandwiches, teriyaki, yakisoba and stir-fried veggies, and there add-ons and alternatives to choose from for some of these. We all got their chicken sandwich with regular fries, though one of my friends and I decided to get it on hot spicy crispy instead. The spice wasn't actually too bad, it was in fact a nice oomph to the meal. I was surprised that the "patty" of the burger was actually two separate pieces of their crispy chicken instead of just one. Now this wasn't too big of a deal, and the chicken itself was tasty but it was dry and there was a ton of sauce inside the burger, so the rest of the burger condiments slipped out easily as I was gripping the sandwich to my mouth. One of my friends experienced the same thing as well with his meal. On the plus side, the fries were appropriately salty, and were very filling. Everything looks small here but you get full really, really fast! The surrounding area is not the best place to find parking to get here because of the lack of spaces, so street parking in the vicinity and even farther out close to Tanaka is advised.

Atmosphere: spacious, seems like most orders are ToGo/PickUp. Service: wait to be seated, scan the QR code at the table, order taken at the table when you are ready, you will be watered, food brought to you, check brought to you, boxes for leftovers available upon request. Menu: QR code located on the metal trash bins on the table. Photos available for the main items, mainly names and brief descriptions. Complimentary cabbage salad: it was very crunchy and fresh, the dressing was creamy, sweet and every so slightly tangy. Yakisoba: great noodle to topping ratio. Pretty much at least one topping in every noodle bite. The veggies had a very nice blanched texture and were added a light crunch to each bite. The sauce was as tad on the sweet side for me though. Fries: lightly seasoned and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I found I could eat these plain without the need for a dip. Original Fried Chicken: Very flaky and lightly crunchy. The chicken inside was brined nicely and was very tender and juicy.

Our family took advantage of the chicken's ability to maintain their crispiness, even for carry-out. It was OK, though a little confusing. Once we settled on KFC for dinner, our hosts (daughter and son-in-law) suggested carryout from 'The Third Place', which was a little out of the way from where we were. It is the Third restaurant opened by the owner, all Seattle area locations known for her KFC (Shin Sung Korean restaurant with Underground Kitchen and the since closed Yeon's Chicken). The chicken was ordered beforehand, and because it is prepared fresh when ordered, it took a bit of time for the order to be complete. There is a limited amount of sauce choices, so we chose Honey Garlic ($23.99) and the classic Yangnyum ($23.99), both marked as Whole Chicken size. Also a side order of french fries ($7.99) completed the order. The fries were good: nice and hot, heavily battered potatoes, providing a nice amount of carbs to go with the fried chicken. The chicken came with pickled radish (chicken-mu) which for me is a must, and it was good. In terms of the chicken, they were all wings, which isn't what I expected: getting the breast and thigh pieces chopped into bite-size pieces, battered and sauced, is what makes it KFC, vs all wings which is more like a Buffalo wing restaurant. So we still got the expected 14 pieces, but they were all wings (flats and drums). I thought the sauces were fine (intentionally ordered mild), and the chicken did maintain a crunch (though not as shattering as the best we've had).

I brought friends, family members, colleagues, employees, and business associates here on a regular basis--sometimes multiple times per week. The food, especially the wings, is excellent and one of the main reasons we kept coming back. Unfortunately, the customer service experience became impossible to ignore. What started as an occasional issue eventually became a consistent pattern of feeling unappreciated as customers. The more we supported the business, the more it seemed that basic hospitality, professionalism, and conflict resolution were lacking. Instead of feeling welcomed, many of us began leaving with the impression that our presence was tolerated rather than valued. What is most disappointing is that this isn't based on a single bad interaction. It is the accumulation of experiences over time, involving multiple visits and multiple people from my circle who reached the same conclusion independently. I believe every business has difficult days. Every employee can have an off moment. What separates great businesses from average ones is how they respond when concerns are raised. In my experience, there appears to be very little interest in understanding customer concerns or resolving issues in a way that leaves people feeling respected. As a Seattle business owner myself, I understand how difficult it is to operate in today's economy. That is precisely why customer relationships matter so much. Every customer chooses where to spend their hard-earned money, and every business has a responsibility to make people feel welcomed, appreciated, and respected. The unfortunate reality is that Vindicktive currently feels less like a professionally managed business and more like an environment where personal dynamics often overshadow customer experience. Whether intentional or not, that perception has caused many people in my circle to stop visiting altogether. I take no pleasure in leaving this review. In fact, I delayed writing it for quite some time because I hoped things would improve. The food remains very good, and I genuinely wanted to continue supporting this establishment. My hope is that ownership reads this, not as an attack, but as an opportunity. Great food can bring people through the door, but great service is what keeps them coming back. Until meaningful changes are made, I can no longer recommend Vindicktive to friends, family, colleagues, clients, fellow downtown residents or visitors from abroad visiting for the 2026 World Cup or any other occasion that our great city host in the foreseeable future. 1 Star Review I am an Official Elite Yelper.
