As a dark beer lover I'm kind of out of luck here: the darkest beer is Nectar Ales' Humboldt Brown Hemp Ale in bottles, with nothing dark on tap. The prices are reasonable though. The layout is pretty straightforward: the front portion is split between a pool table and an open area for dancing, and the rear portion has the bar, some tables, and free table shuffleboard. In between the bar and the pool table is a fancy internet jukebox that allows you to play almost any song you want. Sometimes the bartenders don't like having to switch between the radio (which is away from the bar) and the jukebox though, and on one occasion just gave me my money back rather than make the switch. Secretly I think they just don't like my musical taste, which I can understand, but then why have the jukebox? On weekend nights they have a DJ playing music. No jukebox allowed, however he does take requests and has played everything I've ever requested which is cool. The standard playlist includes a lot of hip hop, which seems very unlike Burns. Since I come here pretty regularly I have noticed that the same songs get played pretty much every weekend; I would love some more variety. At this point Morgan's is the spot to go in Burns. If they had darker beer and occasionally played some punk rock I would never go anywhere else.

For a beer we were charged 2.00 and 1.50.. they must have had some sort of happy hour. It was right down the street from our motel so we could walk to it. They also had a porch in the rear for smokers.

Burns,OR May 2026…read more We came on a Wednesday night and there were only three other tables that were occupied. At 6:15 all the tables are filled. The restaurant is very clean. The floors, the food, the tables, the chairs. I am very impressed. My husband and I ordered a half chicken salad to share and we also split the chicken Alfredo. The Chicken salad was large. I found it hard to believe it was only a half portion. The salad came with a very large portion of shredded torn, hot chicken. The lettuce was Romaine and it had diced tomatoes with shredded cheese slices of cucumbers, large slices of red onion, and croutons. It was supposed to come with a sliced egg, but there was none on the salad. The chicken Alfredo was a very large portion. There was more chicken on the salad then in the chicken Alfredo. The Alfredo sauce tasted smoky. I swear there was a half a pound of pasta in that dish. Like all the other portions of food it is very large. They serve fresh bread with butter to the table. The bread is delicious. The waiter said they make it here. We were offered dessert but we chose you to decline. They have a display case of three different kinds of pies, bars, chocolate cake, cheesecake, and more. My only complaint is that the booths are so far from the table. I had to eat at the end of my bench. But I love that the backs of the booths are so very tall. You can't see your neighbor behind you. I was finished eating and pushed my plate away. My husband was still eating his food. The waiter came up to see if we needed anything else. As we were talking to him, an older woman came by interrupted our conversation with the waiter and started to take all of our plates. My husband was not finished eating, but since she piled the plates on top of each other, we were now done. Perhaps in the future, she should ask if we are finished before removing them from the table. The staff is friendly. The food is ginormous and delicious. This is definitely a place if I were passing through I would stop and eat again. I give this restaurant 4.7 stars.

We were there during a scary time with some of the wildfires and the staff were so friendly and supportive of the many evacuees that were there trying to get some food in their bellies and comfort in their communities. The portions were HUGE, especially for us coming from Honolulu. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely small-town welcoming vibes.

Not sure why all the bad reviews, perhaps disgruntled employees and their friends and family? Although old and outdated, with undesirable bathroom conditions, the food is fantastic diner breakfast quality! We ate there twice while staying at Crane Hot Springs and both times our eggs were cooked perfect, breakfast was hot, service was friendly and portions were plentiful. If the bathrooms were cleaned I'd have given 5 stars in the old diner category! I definitely recommend for breakfast and I'll be back!

The hostess/server seemed kinda shocked/dismayed we were there, as there was only one other table occupied. The food, although wasn't 'bad,' was the very definition of mediocre. I tried the corned beef hash, two eggs and 3 pancakes. It looked like 3/4 a cup of hash smeared on the plate and two eggs - for $16.99. I know that is likely the going rate for what I got, but the presentation seemed so...pitiful? Maybe I'm just old, but it seemed like a $6.99 plate, at most. My daughter got the pork chop meal, which was already controversial as they apparently forgot they even had them in stock. We should have taken that as a sign to call it good and try some place else, but she went for it anyway. Two little overcooked medallions of pork later, we're done. They got a great establishment there. Just need to spruce up the food a bit. Otherwise, it kind of gives off a 55+ community cafeteria vibe.
