I would like to visit again, but one of their patrons (Nicole) likes to pick a fight when I came in the last 4 times. I have no idea what is wrong with this particular customer (drugs, mental illness, or something), but it definitely made me stay away. I wished Kim, Sheri, Roxanne, and Nicole (the regular) weren't so mean to me. They don't know me and I don't know them. Weird vibes there since 2017. read more

I don't usually leave reviews like this, but the service last night stood out for the wrong reasons. The bartender came across as condescending and seemed more focused on chatting with other guests than helping customers who were waiting. It took much longer than expected just to get a drink, and the interaction felt dismissive rather than welcoming. Great little dive bar with a customer base of very friendly locals. Stopped in on a Sunday around 12:55 and had missed the $5 build-your-own -Bloody Mary bar (it ends at noon on Sundays). Great prices on drinks, and the servers remember your name and drink type after a few times of coming there. Good bar food and don't forget breakfast brunch on Saturday morning where you can make your own bloody Mary. They have karaoke three nights a week. Horrible service, rude owners, filthy establishment. The music is awful. I think someone let their daughter or niece pretend to be a DJ, cause the woman had no sense of rhythm. The patrons say the people there are their "Family". It's true everyone knows everyone and they treat you like the "good " part of your family. Respectful and courteous all. Jackass "Get yer ass in here!!." I did, for a pool tournament last night to support a friend.This place had some dive bar fun. As we came we were greeted by a drunk, rather sloppy fellow named Brendon who I later found out was the owner. The crowd was older (40's, 50's) and there were the obvious regulars and the people there just to shoot/watch the pool tournament. Unless you knew about it you wouldn't think there was one. There was no advertising outside and the four pool tables had a mix of people with varying ability. The tournament was taking place at one table. Which I was told was really slowing things down, not being a pool player I wasn't sure what was considered the norm. Come to find out the "tourneys" were annoyed that these people had decided to invade the table right next to them. Let's shift gears and talk about the booze and food. You can get a pint of beer for $4.50 and the more fruity variety is priced as one expects nowadays but you're really getting a bang for your buck. I shared a mind eraser with my friend and it tasted like cream soda. I also sampled a rip tide which was grape soda-y tasting and a shot of something peppermint. Probably shnaps. .. I don't typically like to eat when I drink but my dear friend had a burger and he said it was great-for a bar burger, so take that for what you will. I'll have to update the review if I ever get to try the food. In conclusion, I would say my experience is specific to this one night so I'm definitely using broad strokes about atmosphere and the crowd. I would go back but more than likely it would have to involve my friends hobby. read more

My favorite bar in prescott valley. Really low key dive bar with awesome charm. The bartenders are all great especially Kimmy and Bob. There is a private heated smoking area with a tv. Drinks are priced fairly, really can't complain. Only negative is brendon the owner, he is classless and constantly drunk in his own bar which is very distasteful. However I can look past it and it hasn't stopped me from going back. read more

Strange. I was google-ing some places I used to frequent back when I lived in Prescott Valley in the mid 70's, and lo and behold, here is the Jackass Bar and grill! All I can say is I would stop there often on my way home from work for a beer or two. I always found it comfortable and cool in there. That's about all I can remember. read more

A few years back we stopped in a couple of times with a group friends while out on a motorcycle ride, all of us from Phoenix. Bartenders were friendly & service was good. Then last year my husband retired and we relocated to the area. We decided to stop in one Saturday night. They were quite busy but we still got great service and everyone was very friendly. It's a place frequented by the locals and they seem to all know each other. However, it didn't take long for us to feel right at home in such a friendly atmosphere.
