As usual, I stopped by here for lunch. I ordered my usual Chile Relleno with rice and beans. The food was average nothing more. I didn't care too much for the thick red sauce they put on top of the chili. Nice decor. The service is very fast and pleasant so it's good if you don't have a lot of time. The restaurant environment was nice and staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the food is just OK. My dish which was fish tacos wasn't very flavorful and when I ordered my entrée, they didn't ask me if I would like corn or flour tortillas. I received my tacos on flour tortillas with rice and beans. Two other people at our table ordered chili Colorado and they said it was OK also. I'm not sure if it was just an off night or if this is consistently how the food is served however, I hate to say but, was really not impressed by anything I ate . This has become our "go-to" for Mexican food when I don't feel like cooking it myself. I always try to keep it simple and for the most part, order two shredded beef tacos and one cheese enchilada. I don't do the combo plate, but like I said, I order a la carte and keep it simple! My husband on the other hand, lives on the wild side and orders something different every time. He's no expert when it comes to Mexican food, but having been raised in Los Angeles exposed him to some of the best Mexican food and I was raised on it, so I feel that I know a good dish when I get it and I'm a lot pickier than him, so again... I keep it SIMPLE! Most dishes my husband orders, he finishes off, complains later, and tries something different the next time around! They also serve Menudo, so besides the shredded beef tacos and cheese enchiladas; this is the main reason I keep coming back. I love me a good bowl of menudo and theirs is very good. Lindo Mexico is conveniently located to our home, has excellent service, and definitely feels like a Mexican restaurant. The decor is colorful and very inviting and the place is always very clean, despite being a busy place. Chips and salsa are complimentary and though I don't care much for the house salsa, they do bring out a spicy salsa (habanero) upon request. They also have a full bar, so if you're into grabbing a cold beer or margarita to go with your chips and salsa, then this is the perfect place! They also offer outdoor seating for those that prefer the great outdoors. It is located in a strip mall, but has ample parking available and is not hard to find. I just learned that they also have live mariachi music on one day if the week, but I don't know which day. read more

We went here because it was close by and recommended by a local. The food was fresh, but kinda bland to me. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. They didn't really have any kind of salsa bar, but they did provide some fresh salsa for the chips. I guess I'm used to some way to spice up mexican food with some green or red salsa. The chips were ok but not fantastic but they were bottomless which is always a plus! The waitess was polite and service was decent enough. A variety of tables and booths were available and the place had a good amount of people enjoying their meals. The food was more tex mex like than the mexican food I am used to in San Diego. Just returned from lunch where our group of 11 learned that groups of 10 or more can no longer get separate checks. We meet and have lunch here almost every week and while the food and service are still great several members of our group had to move to a separate table and sit away from the others due to this new policy. We hope the new policy will be reversed so we can continue meeting and dining here. read more

Usually the food is incredible, great speed and I love the environment. However this time we ordered the ceviche, and it was undercooked and grey. It didnt really have any flavour no jalapeño and it came in a bowl with little lime juice. It had raw grey shrimp. I asked my friend whos mexican and gone to culinary school if it was cooked and he said no. So we noted that to the server as kindly as possible and she just snatched it up with no eye contact and left. Then about 10 minutes later a food runner came back with another bowl of grey ceviche. At least it had more juice, but it still had large bits of grey shrimp. Pretty disappointing. read more

There were 4 of us here to celebrate my childhood friends birthday!!! We had a great time....we ordered the margarita flight board, pomegranate, mango, strawberry and the mescal flavors! They were great and they gave us a nice buzz which I shared with my friend! We all ate our most fullfilling and rather large portions of food, with leftovers for dinner! So many things to love about Lindo! Great service, they are impeccably tidy, and their food and drinks are delicious. Some of my favorites are their albondigas soup, carne asada steak, and chile rellano. They also have a fantastic cucumber margarita with a Tajin rim. A nice touch is their booths are decorated with the various states of Mexico, and it has helped me learn the various state names. Always a fun and lively environment. read more

The good is great very V tasty and authentic. Their shrimp and octopus ceviche and cocktails are just as good as you find in puerto pennasco aka rocky point on the sea of Cortez. The WORST floured tortillas I've ever eaten in my life. They are like rubber! I've eaten at the Lindo PV location and it's been good. However, today I picked up Fajitas for my family for dinner. It was a combination beef and chicken. We received one tiny container of sour cream that had perhaps 1 TBSP and the same for the guacamole-one tiny container. Each was enough for 1 fajita. Extremely disappointing-ESPECIALLY the RUBBERY tortillas. Absolutely RUINED our family dinner!!!!!! Lindo, you can do better than this. Where are you purchasing your tortillas? I have eaten there a number of times and have never been disappointed. I was there a few days ago The decor is okay but the food and service are exceptional. My favorite is the veal piccata. I tasted a friend's chicken dish and I want to try it next time. I would be happy going there once a week and trying different dishes every time. When I said the service was exceptional I can't emphasize that enough. This place is reasonably priced and the quality of the food is very large. This is our go to place and just happens to be close to our home. I get the chicken macho burrito and take half home. Hubby gets the chicken chimichanga and devours it. Went here for the first time, on my quest to find good Mexican food in PV. So far, Lindo Mexico is the best I've found. Located in the strip mall next to Roberts and Monster Car wash, this place is very colorful inside. (Not sure why, but loud and bold colors seem to be the decorating style at Mexican restaurants near here.) It was very busy the night we went; the place was completely full with a wait for larger parties. We got seated within 5 minutes as we were just a party of two. Our server was friendly and very prompt to take our drink orders, food orders, and throughout our dinner. Saw other reviewers mention slow service, but that was not our experience. The food itself was pretty good, and generously portioned. If you are used to So Cal Mexican food, you won't really find that style around here. But Lindo Mexico comes close. The chips were warm and fresh, but the salsa was very mild. We asked for their hot salsa, and mixed the mild and hot together to get the spicy level we like. The carnitas was the better of the two dishes we ordered. Good flavor, tender, and moist. The enchiladas rancheras had tasty chicken inside, but seemed like they were made in a rush; the tortillas, insides, and sauce were not well melded together. The rice and beans were both very authentic, and good. Unless I find something way better in PV, Lindo Mexico will stay on my go-to list of Mexican restaurants. read more

Normally I go to the prescott location however i found myself at the back side of PV and craving Mexican food. I was in a party of 3 and we had to wait 15 minutes to get seated. After being seated we waited for another 15 minutes to get a servers attention. Overall the service was pretty slow. The food was good! It came out warm and was full of flavor.
