It felt genuine-and I could tell she was sad for me but she was hopeful. I got some good news today-I have two eggs! And my follicles are working! So fingers crossed. I also really love Kim-she's one of the nurses but also the educator and she explains things so perfectly. It's been eye opening to learn so much about the woman's body-things they don't teach you in school or even at with your primary doctor and I love learning and very grateful I have this opportunity when so many others do not. Plus it also makes me appreciate what women go through with their journeys. I also love seeing the other nurses and especially Allie-she is so incredibly sweet and Deztyni-she's spicy but she very easy to talk to and she's a really really hard worker and cares a lot about her job and she's just a great person in general. Last but not least-the ladies in the billing department. Today, the nurse who helped me, explained to me about insurance and spent time going through mine with me and about the new laws and changes and what to expect going forward. Insurance companies suck in general but it's less painful when you're being taken care of by such wonderful people here. It's such an emotional and physical journey-being a woman and going through this so it makes me really happy that I have such a great team of amazing ladies who are also my support system that I can count on.

Dr. Liu was very transparent and honest with our situation (being 41 years old) yet extremely knowledgeable and helpful. My history of have 2 successful iui, one natural, one miscarriage, many failed iuis and a very disappointing ivf cycle front a different place, my expectations were low... with much experience with infertility, different places, doctors, offices etc its not only emotional but very draining mentally and physically. It was an incredibly emotional and difficult time in my life. My OB highly recommended Incinta, and because I trusted my doctor, my husband and I scheduled a consultation right away. We had already tried other fertility treatments before coming to Incinta, so we arrived with both hope and uncertainty. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed. The office was beautiful, welcoming, and professional. The staff greeted us warmly and gave us a tour of the facility. One thing that immediately stood out to me was that everything was done in-house. Knowing that my embryos would not need to be transported between different facilities gave me so much peace of mind and confidence moving forward. Fast forward, Incinta worked what truly feels like a miracle for our family. We moved forward with IVF treatment and were blessed with four healthy embryos. Using two of those embryos, I delivered one healthy baby boy in 2022 and another healthy baby boy in 2024. Now, my husband and I are preparing to return next month for our third and final transfer, hoping to welcome our baby girl in 2027. I was so scared to get a mammo and she talked me into it and it was painless and oh so quick. I trust Dr. Mellano with everything. She has a wonderful bedside manner. She's loved. She has so many patients and I'm glad I am able to be one of them. The office is large and clean. Staff is nice. Ample parking. There is a fee for paddling but her office does validate for the 1st hour. She's on the 6th floor. She always leaves me with a smile. She's beyond caring and knows her stuff. She is gentle. Most women OBs are very rough. But Dr. Mellano treats our parts nicely and never rough. I recommend her 110%.

I just want to add to this post because I think it's important. When I did my egg retrieval with…read moreDr. Macer we expected about 12-15 eggs based on follicle count. However, when I woke up and he told me we only got 4 I was completely devestated. He COULD NOT explain what happened. I asked several times what happened throughout our journey with him and he either brushed it aside or said he had to "look at his notes". He only saw me twice during stims and used a very one size fits all protocol. I luckily got two euploid embryos out of the 4, but both transfers failed. After the failed transfers, he completely misdiagnosed me, which is mentioned in the above review. When we told him about this he decided to get aggressive and told us to only contact the front office if we wanted to be seen by him again. We of course decided we would never go back there. I just did stim cycle and retrieval with my new doctor and we got 24 eggs, 21 mature. His approach was very different. He saw me every other day or every day, checked my blood levels and made sure we upped medication or lowered it based on blood results. This was never done with Macer. I would never recommend anyone to Dr. Macer. Please be careful with trusting this doctor. He has good bedside manner until you question him and can turn very quickly. Also, his office is he does not have the capabilities to do retrievals or transfers out of it. So, you would be traveling to Laguna beach for all of that.

We researched various CA based and int'l clinics and determined his price point and convenient location was a good fit. We decided to embark on our IVF journey at 42. *At my initial consultation he advised he accepted PPO insurance which I acquired only to learn he went to a cash only model a few months later and suggested I submit receipts for reimbursement. The receipts had zero medical billing coding, so that went no where. *Ana & Claudia are phenomenal in managing the office. However, they're understaffed and obtaining instructions on pharmaceutical administration is overwhelming and chaotic. *My biggest gripe and reason for switching clinics: Dr. Khorram suggested I skip genetic testing as my body would naturally release the embryo which we accepted. Dr. Kim, however, pulled us in shortly after the implantation while I was drowsy and Dr. K had departed to sell us on genetic testing at $5K. Needless to say, it didn't take and Dr. Khorram reprimanded us for signing up for genetic testing. This infuriated me and let him know Dr. Kim preyed on us while in a vulnerable state. Apparently, it's been an issue and Dr. Kim "doesn't listen." I told him I felt bamboozled and decided to never return due to this lack of professionalism and lack of empathy. No frills is fine, but my experience was disgusting. May my experience help you discern and best of luck.

While I was a bit hesitant on having a make OBGYN, he immediately puts you at ease and the most gentle, caring and nurturing doctor one can ask for. His bedside manner is wonderful and his staff so far has been amazing as well. I joke with him that I have three kids because of him - because I was too sad to not see him for the many pregnancy check ups which is half true! His NP Lynette Miya is just as wonderful and I hope she stays around as long as I'm a patient in their office!

It's true, you should expect to wait 1-2 hours for appointments. I think this happens because she delivers all of her own babies at Torrance Memorial and spends a lot of time with each patient. She made sure my husband and I were completely prepared for our first birth with new discussion topics at each appt. (circumcision, what happens if you need a C-section, feeding plans, etc). She checked me every day I was in the hospital. She was truly above and beyond what I ever would have expected from an OB. So, if you're on a tight schedule, this practice might not be for you. However, 1-2 hour wait times aren't really that wild and you could end up waiting that long to see someone who isn't nearly as excellent. Also all test results came back super quick and the nurses called with results in a timely manner.

The person I spoke with was neither courteous nor compassionate and came across as very abrupt and dismissive throughout the entire conversation. I explained that I was in the early stages of pregnancy and had experienced some light bleeding. Her response was simply, "It's normal. If you're concerned, you need to go to the ER." There was no reassurance, empathy, or attempt to explain anything further. I understand that front desk staff cannot provide medical advice, but there is a professional and compassionate way to communicate with a pregnant patient who is understandably concerned about bleeding. The entire interaction made me feel completely unwelcome. When choosing an OB/GYN, especially during pregnancy, the way patients are treated by the office staff matters tremendously. After this experience, I would not feel comfortable choosing a practice where patients are spoken to this way.
