Surprise surprise surprise! Hungry and short on time we stopped into this place bc it was on our route. The menu has more choices than I could have ever imagined. I ordered the eggs Benedict and was not disappointed! Sauce was creamy and delicious! Eggs could have been cooked a minute more but that's a personal taste. Serving size FILLED an oversized plate so I had to take half my meal home. I will definitely be returning to explore some more of their menu! read more

This place is worth seeking out. Some of the best breakfast in the Antelope Valley served in a friendly family atmosphere. We split a crab omelette today with avocado, mushrooms, onion, peppers and hollandaise sauce, herbed potatoes and the house made carrot walnut bread. Delicious. They were so nice about us splitting that they even divided it in the kitchen for us. Kitty corner from Costco on Avenue L and 10th Street West. Great food, good and personable service and good sized portions. Little short on ambiance but who cares?

They'll even make Belgium waffles with baked apples on top delicious. Service is very good ambience good too.

The food is great and enough to have leftovers for a second meal. The price is reasonable and the service was professional, courteous, and really quick, depending ending on how busy. The interior could be spruced up a bit but not bad as far as ambiance in a diner. read more

Super clean and comfortable seating for small or large parties. High-backed booths for privacy and noise control. Counter seating at bar level with sturdy seat-back stools. Healthy alternatives like turkey sausage and chicken sausage. Dignified, courteous staff. I was met at the door and seated immediately. Super fluffy omelet. Full of lovely things. In this case, crab and avocado with Hollandaise over it. Perfect hash brown. Everything very very fresh and presented with homey perfection in absolute cleanliness. What a wonderful find. We were taking a trip to Death Valley, and looked for a restaurant on the way. We couldn't find any decent choices in Mojave Desert, so we turned our car around to head back to Lancaster. Well, we're certainly glad we did. The soufflé omelettes were BOMB!! We ordered the bacon soufflé omelette and the chicken basil pesto soufflé omelette with the house herb potatoes and the raspberry coffeecake. We didn't have to wait long like some of the reviews mentioned. The chicken basil pesto was almost a inch and a half tall and had tons of chicken inside. No skimping on ingredients on the bacon either. The herb potatoes were very good too. We were very hungry coming in, but we were so full we couldn't even finish the coffeecake. Coffee, however fell short on my expectations. We'll be visiting again next time we come through. read more

My wife and I have eaten here a number of times. The food has always been fresh and delicious, the service is good and wait staff is attentive. This the first time coming in for lunch and weren't disappointed. I had a half turkey sandwich and a cup of chicken tortilla soup. The bread was dry, but the rest of the sandwich was good. The soup nice and hot. I recommend this restaurant for breakfast or lunch. read more

This used to be really good. Quality has gone way down and prices have gone way up. I don't mind paying the price for good food, but, I do mind paying more for food that had no flavor, old cold fries and brown welted lettuce the menu has Flank Steak Sandwich...clearly was not flank steak. read more

I tried the different Egg Benedict combinations and some of the other breakfast dishes when I first moved here, and haven't stopped getting take-out since. The flavors are amazing and the portion sizes are big enough to have leftovers for another meal the next day. I also love the homemade carrot loaf. Everything is so fresh and when I have eaten there a couple of times, the coffee was hot and creamer plentiful. read more

Found this place via yelp, thanks yelpers it was a really good, small cafe to grab some breakfast for the day. It can get busy.. not sure if they take reservations but plan ahead if you want to come on the weekends. Big menu full of many items, I ended up getting a waffle with fresh bananas on top. They loaded it with bananas, it was really good.. I ate it all up. Would like to come back for lunch and try more food items. read more

One of my all time favorite places to eat for breakfast. The order to serve time is very reasonable for a place that is packed every time I go here to eat. Best places in the AV for crepes main reason I go here but I recently tried the soufflé omelettes the ricotta cheese in the one I ordered was great. I always order the veggie omelette and Copenhagen Crepés! It's a small family owned business with good customer service. Their portions are big and they pour coffee often. Their carrot cake is my dad's favorite! Everything I've tried so far is delicious. My family and I really enjoy their breakfast. Horrible worst breakfast I've ever had. Food came out cold, the butter didn't even melt on my pancakes. The herb potatoes thatI ordered well done came out cold, barely cooked and not one herb. Sausage was cold. My husband's hash browns were cold. The wheat toast was probably from the dollar store, no flavor and cold. Horrible I hate this place. $40 for cold food. Wow. read more

I've eaten here a number of times. It's your traditional American breakfast place. Family oriented and just good food. Portion sizes are big but not as big as crazy otto's. But plenty big to fill you up! The bakery items are my fave when they're available.!! Omelettes are excellent too! read more

We were on our way up to Mammoth and needed to find a place off of the 14 fwy. Yelp brought up Jackie's Cafe and we gave it a try. We are so glad we chose this place! Everyone's meal was great. My son had the Eggs Benedict, I had the Papas Mexicanas and my husband had The Trainer breakfast. All delicious and satisfying. The place doesn't look like much from outside and inside, but I guess they're trying to concentrate on making good food. read more

I give this place 4 stars. The food taste good. I ordered the Greek omelet but it's different then your typical Greek omelet. It has ham, Ortega peppers, bell pepper, onion tomatto but the feta is fresh. The potatoes are good. They have a lot of flavor. The major draw back is the price. read more

Great breakfast place. Found it while we were driving in area and I'm so glad we did! We had the chicken papas which was really good. It was grilled chicken tenderloin with potatoes underneath as topped with sour cream and avocado. Oh! And it comes with bakery item of your choice. So filling, but delicious! Next was the Copenhagen crepes filled with raspberry and cream cheese. Sweet, but not overly sweet. Then we had the raspberry French toast that came with bacon and eggs. Everything was great! First time here and it was awesome! I had the Eggs Benedict with a substitution of regular bacon instead of the traditional Canadian bacon and well done hashbrowns (excellent hashbrowns). I did not want it to end. The English muffin was so soft. The eggs were poached to perfection. I tried both of the housemade salsas (rojo and verde) and they were both so good but I really loved the verde. My better half had the 3 sausage souffle omelette with hashbrowns and the house baked raspberry coffee cake. And we both had coffee. We both left full but not overstuffed. The price was very good also. We will definitely come back. read more

Today I wanted eggs Benedict. So I chose this place because I've never been in the 13 yrs living in the AV. So first time here. Really don't know how long this place existed but I think this shopping center is rather new'ish. Anyway, it was good. Hollanaise sauce was made well. The Canadian bacon could have & should have been thicker, it didn't cover the English muffin. But overall, 4 **** out of 5*****. Service was good, seated right away within a minute of arriving. Coffee in timely matter ( giving choices of flavors of creamer) but NO THANKS, but appreciate the variety available. Food out within 10 minutes after ordered. Coffee offered refills periodically. Other than that, also ordered - 2 eggs & meat of choice, - pancake platter plate , - pumpkin muffin. Everything was consumed by our party of 3. So all was good- great overall. read more

The Antelope Valley is definitely lacking in any sort of "elevated" cuisine, especially for breakfast, Jackie's falls into the typical AV comfort food. I found the Eggs Benedict odd in taste, Hollandaise was lacking in flavor, English muffin had a strange sweetness to it, overall I didn't enjoy it, but the herbed potatoes were good and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I also got the raspberry coffee cake, it was scrumptious! I realize that people's palates differ so there may be many that love their Benedict, it just wasn't for me. The loss of star is only for atmosphere, which is terrible!! No ambiance at all, no background music, very dark and uninviting, truthfully I almost turned around after walking inside, only reason I stayed was that I was starving after fasting for bloodwork up the street. The service was also a bit lackluster, I got everything in an efficient and timely manner, but zero personality or warmth. If you want a yummy coffee cake I would highly recommend Jackie's...but maybe take it to go. read more

Horrible service, horrible portions, horrible food. Sour faces should have turned around when I seen the sour faces because the food was sour. The creamer curdled. When I asked to remove an item off the bill because it was horrible I received a big attitude. I still paid 50 for two plates. I never been to a restaurant like that before.
