He is extremely meticulous and makes sure he does every strand carefully. He offered me tea or anything to drink. He took the time to listen to what I wanted and gave his own suggestions as well. Come prepared with a reference photo. My hair felt absolutely amazing after and didn't smell bad unlike other Japanese straightening I have gotten elsewhere. The haircut was really nice as well and was visibly healthier. Even though I went a little past their closing time, he didn't rush me and still listened to me when I wanted to adjust the haircut. He also maintained a positive attitude the entire time. 2 days later it still feels the same as it first did. I believe they use zelle or venmo for the tip.

They tested a strain on my hair and it turned out red, and said that I wouldn't be able to go ash blonde. Super grateful that they did a test but very sad that I was unable to do the color that I want. They did offer me to do like an ash brown, but that wasn't what I wanted unfortunately. I only needed a haircut and this was the only chance I got (I am a SAHM with 2 kids and minimal backup except this day) so I said I would consider it but I need a cut now. I can't even get it fixed because it is so much shorter than I wanted. There are huge "texture" discrepancies all over my hair, the most obvious being in the back near my neck. There's also a strand of hair far longer than the entire length of my bob cut. I don't even understand how this happened. I'm so traumatized. I would never recommend this place and will never ever come back. I really had 1 chance to get a cut as a treat to myself, since I really don't have extra time to spare. Yesterday I had a great haircut by Angie - she had no problem tackling my bushy curly hair and leaving me with beautiful layers and a blow out in record time. From when I walked into the salon to walking out was 45 minutes for a wash, cut and blow dry of my really thick, long curly hair. I can't even blow out my own hair in 45 minutes! I also regularly see Joanna for color who has worked wonders to get me to a nice caramel brunette after I messed up my own hair color at home! Last time I saw her I needed highlights and gray root coverage. She knew I was in a rush, and she managed to do both processes at the same time to get me out of there faster. Highly recommend!
