The boys finished all 18 holes in less than 30 mins all by themselves. The laser tag was fun too. The vests were pretty big and heavy and it looked so big our littlest guy but he held his own. It seemed crowded when the summer camp group of kids were there, but when they all left, it wasn't crowded at all. Coming from LA, where anything fun is crowded, it was nice to not have to wait in long lines. We wanted to try the laser maze, but it wasn't working. The workers were all teenagers, and the manager guy looked maybe early 20's but they were all helpful. It was fun to spend a couple hours in the hot afternoon being indoors.

At one point, a ball bounced into our lane, which was unsafe. One female staff member did her best to address the issue and deserves credit, but the behavior resumed shortly after. This situation highlighted a need for better staff training and consistent rule enforcement. There were also frequent scoring issues, as the pinsetter incorrectly registered frames and required constant manual corrections. The food was equally disappointing--the pretzel sticks tasted stale, as if reheated and left sitting. For nearly $100 for two hours of bowling, I expected a much better experience. The high prices, poor lane conditions, mediocre customer service, and lack of oversight made this an extremely frustrating visit. With staff frantically running around in attempts to fix our lane issues, our clock ran down to 5 minutes remaining and we were not given any sort of resolution (no lane switch & no refund.) The staff here are all relatively young and don't have any authoritative power, so I don't expect them to have the ability to provide refunds, but it's pretty disappointing paying for something that you didn't receive. After a bit of back and forth we were eventually offered one free game for a future visit - though we wouldn't be able to use it since we live in NY and were only passing through. During the time we were awaiting a resolution, I did hear of another group facing the exact same issue and repeatedly demanding a new lane to no avail, so this does seem like a common occurrence at The Branch.
