Jack always tries to get you fixed up as soon as possible. He does a free evaluation of what needs fixing and gives you a quote before doing the work, unlike some places that charge $150 or more for an evaluation before any work is even done. If you are looking for an honest shop with great people. You will find it at Jacks. I will not take my vehicles anywhere else due to the trust I have in Jacks to not try to rip me off, be honest about any issues that are or are not present. I could not recommend them enough. We brought our vehicle here for a second opinion for issues that would have been very clear to diagnose and Jacks saved us a TON of money by just being honest that these were not actually present in our vehicle. While some repairs may need to be done... the overwhelmingly expensive issues another shop lied to us about are not it. So grateful for Jacks honestly and integrity. read more

This is the number one car-place I go to and tell my friends about. They are kind, honest workers, and excellent problem solvers. My car rattled. They fixed it so quickly. My back tail-light kept my car from inspection. Two other places tried to fixed it - to no avail. Cannot say enough and Jack and Jack's Auto Repair! My family has been using Jack's Auto Repair for over 30 years. Same owner and same location all that time. At this point I trust them so much I'll just take my vehicle in and tell them, "Don't even bother calling me; just fix it if it's not more than $_______." They are simply honest, hard-working people who do the right thing. Yesterday, however, Jack's took it to another level. My recently widowed mother was in a wreck, and when she couldn't reach me right away, she called Jack's. Even though it *way* outside the scope of the services they offer, within 15 minutes, one of the employees, Andy, was at my mother's side. Literally--he was in the ambulance comforting her when I arrived! He even arranged to have a tow-truck take it back to their shop so I wouldn't have to deal with the city's storage lot. I am eternally grateful that he was able to be there to comfort my elderly mother in her moment of crisis. For this, and many other reasons, I will never take my vehicles anywhere else. Took my Toyota Sienna there in July 2015. He said the entire AC system had to be replaced. Performed the work as stated, price was very good for replacing the entire system. I requested an itemized receipt listing all parts replaced. He would not or could not provide it. This work came with a 1 year warranty. Fast forward 2 years. System failed again. Clutch on compressor is dead. Replaced compressor and condenser, etc. Working again. Very sad to see weak parts used that fail so quickly. read more

Jack's Auto Repair really needs to communicate better. I took my Ford Expedition in for rear work and was quoted a price. They called after finding a broken pin while in the process of the repair & I approved replacing it. It was not explained fully & I was charged an additional $250 for an extra 2.5 hours just to repair a pin. This was a rip off & I do not recommend their services to anyone. read more

My 2000 Nissan truck overheated on the way back from the airport. I took in around the corner to the City Garage and they told me that I needed a new engine for a cost of over $5,000. This was not what I needed to hear on my first day of retirement. My neighbor recommended that I call Jack's Auto Repair to get a second option and I call them the first thing the following morning. They checked it out and found that it had leaks in the radiator and one hose was also leaking. They gave me an estimate and took me home. One of my girlfriends came over that afternoon and she volunteered to drive me over to pick up my truck after I told her that not only all the mechanics over at the shop were very knowledgeable but that they were all "easy on the eyes". The bill came in lower than the estimate. When have you ever seen that happen? These guys are knowledgeable, polite, handsome but most importantly HONEST HONEST HONEST. This is one of the few 5 star that I have ever given out. read more

I took my Ford F-150 in for a coolant leak (the fan motor was running out of control). They replaced the fan motor and resistor, and refilled the coolant and "said" they check for leaks, all to the tune of $800+ dollars. Approximately three weeks later, same problem. I took the truck back, they kept it over night, they called the next morning and said it was fixed. $56 dollars later ($4 hose clamp and $52 labor). Bottom line, they replaced everything around the initial leak (unnecessary) the first time and didn't fix the leak, then had the stones to charge me for the leak three weeks later. These so-called "mechanics" are nothing more than oil change techs. This was a straight rip off, pure and simple. If you need a flat fixed or a oil change, you might be ok.
