Amazing! It's like Costco but it's alllll candy (and party supplies). Super clean, well-organized, and everyone was so pleasant. A bunch of entertainment for little kids. Plus... candy!!! Highly recommend. (And ask for Ludwin - he's so friendly and helpful.)

This place took me straight to the CANDY SHOP and trust me, they let me lick the lollipop... figuratively, of course. Hahaha. Every shelf is packed with sugar coated temptation, from chocolate yummies to everything gummies that make you wanna drop it low. The vibe is sweet, the staff's chill, and I swear I left feeling like 50 himself just whispered, "go 'head girl, don't you stop." If you're in LA and need a sugar rush that hits harder than the beat drop, this is the spot. Keep goin' till you hit the sweet spot!

I can't believe how much candy they have here. My son was in heaven. Row after rows of every candy imaginable. They also had some party supplies and a lot of pinatas. If I lived in LA, this would definitely be the place to go for party supplies and candy.

I have been hearing about #jackscandy for several years, taking a wrong turn today k discovered this hidden gem. There is so much candy here omg. The store is very well stocked neat clean along with a great staff. It's a candy lover's dream totally worth the drive from LBC, there's a parking lot onsite. There is a little twist chips need to be paid for with cash and if your purchase is less than 20.00 dollars the purchase is to be paid in cash. All I will definitely recommend and return soon....

Fun, wonderful and cheap!! Great selection of candies in a giant warehouse that feels as big as a Costco! Huge array, good prices, ample parking... just wish they were open longer hours.

Driving to Jack's Candy can be kind of scary. So many grafettis, homeless, and old buildings. Once we made it and enter inside, it felt like you were in candyland. (A Costco with just candy items). The staff was very welcoming and even handed the shopping cart for you. There was many great deals and with lots of portion! A great time to shop during Halloween for sure. Check out was fast and simple. What was nice that they even box the bag of candies for you. I wouldn't mind coming here again and again!

As a small business owner, I value quality products I can confidently share with my customers. When I shopped for my order, the candy seemed harder than expected at first, but after adjusting from being stored in a cold warehouse, it softened perfectly. Once it settled, the candy was fresh, flavorful, and just what I needed. I appreciate having reliable options like this and look forward to shopping here again!

Definitely worth checking out when needing a high volume of candy. Went early in the morning on Saturday when they opened and the area surrounding the store was very busy. The store itself was busy but not crowded, but they have a small parking lot. They had a wide variety of candy including packaged cotton candy, Mexican candy, Hershey's kisses, skittles, ring, pops, sour straws, and every flavor gummies you could imagine in sour and regular flavors. They had gumballs in various colors, suckers, chips and trolli gummies. Knowing your prices before you go would be beneficial because some item are cheaper elsewhere.

Cue the music for Willy Wonkas chocolate factory lol. But seriously this place has so many good candy options ( chocolate, licorice , lollipops, sour candies, gumballs, etc). I came on a rainy Friday early afternoon to get candy for a candy table I was decorating. The colors were purple, gold and black. I was able to fine Hershey's kisses, lollipops, sour belts, caramels, and gum balls that fit the color scheme. The hubby also got two boxes of blow pops for himself lol. The total for everything was $130. Since it was raining there was plenty of parking but there is also street parking if the lot is full. The staff was friendly and several asked if I needed any help the time we were there. I wanted to wait until after my event to show what I did with the candy so please enjoy the candy table I made! Everyone loved the display and even more so the candy!!

Candy down every aisle

Parking is tight and if/when you find a spot the stalls are all extremely small . But once you get inside it's like Willy Wonka's candy factory. They have any and everything you could ever want . Not just candy, they also have chips, toys, and an array of party supplies. Tip: they accept visa and debt but you need cash to purchase chips (no idea why).

Candy cigarettes, in bulk, no less. Ahh, that smooth menthol.
Craig W.

It's definitely worth a visit---free to enter and freeeeee parking--but keep in mind that almost everything is sold in bulk except for a frw things like small bags of chips and piñatas. Also, it's cash only for the chips. I would say at least half the products are Mexican foods or products. The rest is either Asian or American. It's interesting to check out all the different stuff. For parties or Halloween, this place is a home run. They also have paper plates and cups for sale. Costco for candy is a good description. This is a unique spot that you should check out at least once. And don't forget to stock up on your candy cigarettes!

The shop has been open for 103 years and is certainly impressive! We got there about 10 minutes before open and were the first ones in line. The mochi was fresh, they had a huge selection, and at a good price. They also have tons of other snacks and the staff was so nice and friendly. By the time we left, there was already about a dozen people in line behind us, so definitely recommend to get there early. Ultimately, I went with a six piece with two red bean mochi, two blueberry mochi, and two strawberry mochi. All of them were very delicious, the mochi was perfectly chewy, and a good amount of filling. We will definitely be back if we're in the area!

I'd suggest stopping by for the experience and historical significance not necessarily if you're looking for the best mochi you've ever had. Unfortunately, my experience with the staff was also underwhelming. The female employee who assisted me came across as cold and unfriendly, which didn't make for a very welcoming visit.

Galco's will forever hold a special place in my heart…read more This is the OG grocery store we would walk to in the early 80"s. When they had penny candy machines, a big taxidermy deer head and the kindest owner. He once gave me and my sibling a big paper lunch bag full of candies! It has such a selection of candy from your childhood, and for kids, random unique gifts to keep them busy. but yesterday...all that flew out the window. I approached the sandwich counter and asked the person working (an angry woman apparently) what her favorite sandwiches are. After she took a minute to complain about how she had been making sandwiches all day and her brain is fried and she didn't really have any recommendations for me (and was seemingly annoyed at me even asking) she looked at the clock and advised that I was 2 minutes too late to order a hot sandwich. literally the 2 minutes she took to complain about her job cost me the sandwich. now, if it was my shop and a nice family came in and asked me my opinion on something and I took a minute or two to say the things that she said I would give them a sandwich and make that sandwich be the last sandwich of the day, but instead apparently my money wasn't green enough for her. She shut it down and two minutes later was out the door. she was rude, and honestly it just seemed that she didn't give an F. Today I called the store to speak with the owner and the person who answered the phone gave me the runaround. it was clear that either the workers didn't want to connect me with the owner or the owner doesn't want to hear the complaint. this place has gone downhill.
