I've heard about this place from a lot of my friends any time they are having a special event and are planning to do a candy bar so I thought I'd check it out for my sisters baby shower. It had its own parking lot which was kind of small but you should have no problem finding parking there were several spots open when I came. The place itself is huge inside and they have a really big selection of candy to choose from. Our theme was pink and white so we set off to search for any candy within those colors. The employees here are awesome and a couple of them even walked around with me to help me find what I needed. The only downside was that a lot of the white flavors I didn't like like pina colada or coconut but that's personal preference. A lot of the candy I couldn't find in a light pink either it was more so hot pink or more of a peachy color. Their prices can't be beat however and I would defiantly recommend this place if you plan on having a candy bar. read more

An entire warehouse of just candy (and some party favors) is what this is! If you need a lot of candy, in different shapes, sizes, flavors, and colors, this is the best place to go. They have all types of foil-wrapped chocolates, gummies, jelly belly of all colors and flavors, m&ms of all colors, lollipops, etc. It is amazing! OMG! My candy heaven...This place is a candy lovers dream and I can not stop drooling.They have EVERY candy that was ever made. This place is insane. It has bags upon bags on racks in bulk and it was all so affordable. Gumballs in every color and flavor (even black), M&M in every color, airheads, Abba Zabba, Boston baked beans, Blow pops, Jolly Rancher, large bags of Reeses buttercups, Hersheys kisses,taffy.... wow I could go on forever!! Party decorations and party favors, Pinatas, bags of balloons,, chips in lunch size for .50 to .85, popcorn, cotton candy, a whole row of Mexican candies, and everything you would want for concession candy for ball games or fundraisers. As soon as you walk in, there's hundred, probably hundreds of thousands of candys, chips, sodas, energy drinks & more all before your very eyes. I live out in the Inland Empire and Jack's Wholesale is worth the drive if you're planning a party. Rock candy sticks at a local candy store go for $24 and they were $13 at Jack's. The employees are all nice and helpful as well. They know exactly where everything is and if they don't have it they can tell you if they will be getting it in soon or not. read more

I've never been to a candy warehouse before but let me tell you, this is one experience for the books! If you are in the event planning business, this is a dream come true. There's nothing like this on the east coast, so I stocked up with the special of the day with these awesome $6 gum balls that you'd pay an arm and a leg for in Party City. There's aisles and aisles of candy. Literally. I was also able to find some sno cone syrup for way cheaper than I'm used to paying. Usually pay around $9 a gallon, found it for $5.50. I suggest everyone visit Jacks. If you're having a party or need to stock up for your store, this is the place to go for all things sweet! read more

This place has everything! Even party supplies and toys. I went yesterday with sister and we both bought a great deal of candy only to get to the security guard at the door and she asked us if everything was ok and we assured her it was and asked why. She said you have to check if you were charged right because sometimes they ring up the unit (entire box) price NOT the individual price. As soon as she said that we caught 3 errors! We were overcharged approximately almost $130!!!!!!! So my advice is keep an eye on the register amount and check your receipt before leaving. manager looked very embarrassed and apologized. read more

We got everything we need for our desserts/candy tablet for $80.75 We got a paper shred white bag for 1.25 We got a mini tongs for 1.25 each We got white scoopers for 1.25 each The candy/desserts we got were: -Yogurt White Pretzels for $15 which was pretty good, b/c the pretzels were not stale but pretty good and it was a 5lbs bag... it was ginormous that ppl had left over to take home -Almond Jordans which was 1 bag (5lbs) for $16.50 ... this was in baby blue since we were hosting a baby shower. This probably was the least hit item at the baby shower since it was very very hard, so i probably wouldn't recommend it -M&M Silver 2 lbs was 15 dollars each this was okay, just tasted liked M&M with color. They have a variety of color for every event - REESES's 1 bag for $9 was the hit of the party. They had different foil size and omg it was so good we just kept opening more and more and ore. This was probably the best purpose since everyone loves reese's .... common who really doesn't love reeses They had a bunch of party supplies but it was limited to generic theme and also generic colors. They pretty much have every type of candy here. Parking is crazy, get there early. You will wait in line for quite a while. And there is only one unisex restroom for customers so do your business before you get there. That's really disappointing when you come from far away and have children. CANDY HEAVEN! Despite the annoying drive, I come here every year for halloween candy shopping. If you need a really large amount of candy, this is the perfect place. I can get about $150 worth of candy that would cost $300-400 at any other store. The prices here are even better than Costco. And they have good quality name brand candy. Parking is a nightmare though. And some Jerry Springer style fights break out over people stealing each others spots. Brace yourself for that... read more

If you are planning a party and need candy for any reason, which you should, because a party isn't a party without candy...I highly recommend you skip Party City or Smart & Final and carve out time in your schedule to hit up the many party supply places in this part of Downtown, and Jack's should be one of the pit stops. The price difference between Jack's and Party City is enough to send a kid to college. Kiddie college, but still. Most of it is color coordinated, so everything's pretty easy to find, and a couple aisles are dedicated to more snack and Mexican candy items, so there's something for everyone. A big shout out to the security guy, who was not only friendly as can be, but watched my stash while I went to go get my car and then pushed the cart over to my car as I pulled up in a parking spot way far from the entrance. If you need candy this is THE place to go! I needed candy for a candy buffet for a UCLA graduation party so I only wanted blue and yellow. I looked online at many of the candy sites and for what I wanted plus shipping I would have paid over $100 dollars and that didn't even include the cost of candy bags. And some sites wanted to charge more for "expedited" shipping (around $28!!!) since I live in a warm climate. I figured I should check out Jack's before I ordered anything and I am soooo glad I did. For $78.50 I got: 5 lbs yellow mango gummi bears, 5 lbs yellow sour balls, 3 lbs yellow banana taffy; 1 box of 150 blue sour belts, 2 lbs blue licorice, 3.5 lbs light blue sixlets, 1 tub of chewy caramels (in a yellow wrappers), 2 lbs of some Mexican candy in blue and yellow wrappers (with little bears, looks like the Bruins!), 2 lbs of blue frooties chews AND 3 packs of clear cellophane bags with twist ties. I could not be happier!. I will say I would probably try not to go back on a Saturday because it was so packed, but there were still people to help me, I parked right in front, and only waited in line to pay about 10 minutes. There are so many types of candy! You will definitely find what you want and if you do not see it out, just ask and they will go in the back and find the colors, etc that you need. read more

I started coming here because the candy warehouse in Pico Rivera stopped accepting walk-ins. I recently came here on a Friday- there was ample parking- this was a tough trip because I had my 11 month old daughter with me in her stroller but luckily enough, a worker gave me a shopping cart and helped me the entire time I was there. He went to the warehouse and got all my candy for me, he packed all the candy into boxes, walked me to my car and loaded candy while I put my daughter into her carseat. I was very gracious because it's very rare you encounter people who actually have a smile on their face at work and who are genuine. The cheap writer in me feels like making many Willy Wonka references in describing this place would be a given - But I'll take the high road on this one and avoid such cliches and simply lay down some basic facts and tips about this downtown sugar filled mecca. I'm also pretty sure that the Oompa Lompa's weren't of hispanic background, nor got hit up by the homeless every time you hit the parking lot of this place. Though the fact that they do have their own parking lot (shared with a wellsfargo) is a major bonus point for this cavity creating headquarters. If you're ever in the need of a massive amount of candy -- you know, in the even that you want to suddenly become diabetic, this place has you covered. A wide variety of candies and other sugar filled bombs are stacked on the shelf. If you have a sweet tooth, they'll fill it. Especially if you're going to throw a breaking bad party, just look for cotton candy flavored rock candy. It'll set you back around $22 bucks for 5lbs of it, but considering how much a tenth of actual blue meth would cost you, consider yourself getting off easy on this one. Chips, sodas, Mexican candies... all can be bought here at really dirt cheap prices and in bulk. The parking always SUCKS, it was worth it today, I was able to buy everything I needed. I had my husband go around the block and I was checking out when he returned. This was early on a Monday morning, all registers were open and the process was smooth and fast. They have a private parking lot and some metered street parking. They accept credit cards and cash, they have glass candy jars in all shapes and sizes, candy bags, scoops, ties napkins plates, knives, spoons, knives, drinks, chips and CANDY Galore. Need pounds and pounds and pounds upon pounds of sugar? Jack's is the best place to get almost every type of candy imaginable! It's great for party favors (or in my case wedding favors), has brand name candies, knock off almost brand name candies for cheap, and loads of unique other stuff which I've never even seen before. Jack's is located a few blocks from the Fashion district, which means its not crazy busy in that area. The store itself is pretty busy though with tons of people there on Saturday afternoon. They have their own little parking lot, but there are plenty of meters outside if you don't feel like parking in tight spaces. The store is just packed with rows and rows and rows of candy. Take a look around and just wander a bit to find what you need and just look at all the interesting candy. It's like a huge candy warehouse, which means the store isn't very much a warehouse style with everything being functional and packed in, but the prices are extremely cheap here. The people who work here are friendly and helpful. They pointed us in the right direction and answered any questions that we had. For party favors or wedding favors, this is the place to go. Who knew there was such a thing as a candy wholesale warehouse. This is the Costco of candy. Do you need 10 pounds of peach gummy rings? Do you need 100 ring pops? Look no further. They have every type of candy imaginable sold in bulk. They have name brand candy sold in bulk too. Their prices are much cheaper than if you were to try and purchase the same amount of candy in a conventional store or even online. I saved quite a bit of money here while stocking up my candy bar. The parking lot will make you want to tear all of your hair out though, especially on the weekends. I'm helping my friend decorate her candy/snack table at her wedding so I came here to buy candy in bulk at a good price. There's a great selection of gum balls, gummies, chocolates in different colors. It's easy to find candy colors that go with wedding colors. There's also a huge selection of Mexican candy. The prices are better for generic candy vs. branded candy (haribo, sour patch). They also sell candy jars priced at $15-$20 each, but I think you can find a better deal at HomeGoods. There are paper plates, napkins, table clothes in a variety of colors. They open early for the business owners who buy wholesale and they close early (4pm), but they're open every day. read more

Both the parking lot and the store could be a little bit overwhelming, but there's definitely a lot of options. If you're coming in here looking for color themed candy, go towards the middle of the store. All their various options are there. The employees were all quick to offer us help, and if anything gave us WAY more options then we were looking for. As a side note, they seem to sell a lot of chips and other things here. For whatever reason, the chips are cash only... I think most other things they take credit cards... One weird thing... We bought little candy scoops as well. When I asked for 5, the cashier said they were $3.50 a piece... said that if I got 1 more, then it'd be $3.25. I heard about Jack's and their insane selection of candy, and I had all kinds of Willy Wonka daydreams, so when I got there, and it was an ugly warehouse, I was super disappointed. Really tho- that's my bad. My imagination ran away with me... it's downtown! Why would it be a beauteous wonderland of candy? Silly Rachel. It's a normal warehouse in downtown that just HAPPENS to be full of candy. (Inner child weeps) The people who work here were pretty nice, and pretty helpful, but the other people shopping here made me want to climb the walls. Lots of large carts in narrow spaces, and lots of debate over whither or not a color "goes" with a theme. (It's candy. It can't be wrong! It can only be wonderful provided it is delicious!) They carry undelicious candy (like generic chocolate malt balls with colorful coatings), as well as delicious candy (like Gummy Penguins!!!), as well as disgusting snack food items (like Flaming Hot Cheetos). The candy buffet was a big hit, and I was able to find yummy delicious things that adhered to the color theme, so all in all, it was a worthwhile trip.
