100% hometown breakfast and lunch joint. We loved it! The food was freshly prepared, and the ingredients were quality! Service was fantastic and the whole place was just comfortable. One of the things we liked best was the self-serve coffee, with the cream, sugar, simple syrup setup designed to be less wasteful, and instead of wooden stir sticks the owner uses linguine that is perfect to stir your coffee. Even though we don't live in the city, this is one of our favorite diners to visit on the weekend. The vibe is definitely my favorite, everyone is friendly, including the customers, they have self-serve coffee, and a good variety of breakfast. The prices are also pretty decent. We love to sit at the window and just look out while we eat and talk. read more

This was a random stop in Buffalo...but did not disappoint. I didn't know what to expect upon entering but the ambiance hinted that this was a stylish coffee, breakfast type of place and that it was. I will say the iced coffee I got was disappointing, they didn't have French vanilla for my coffee, and they had sugar in the raw....which isn't soluble in cold coffee so all the sugar sat at the bottom. Because I'm a coffee addict, that was a huge blow for me. The food was delicious tho. I enjoyed an omelette with hash browns and a toasted baguette, and my table mate had the French toast with eggs and bacon. The food came out rather quickly and it was enjoyed equally as quick. I am disappointed honestly , had high hopes in the morning. When I saw White chocolate strawberry, I opted for a latte with almond milk. 16 ounces $6.49. We saw the container of coffee ingredients before they made it (which was very unappealing) Having food sensitivities I should have asked what this almost "smoothie mix" consisted of. To me it did not taste like white chocolate mocha. Pretty however. This place was popping on a Friday morning, and for good reason. I got the breakfast sandwich and holy crap it was good. It doesn't look like much, but the ingredients work so well together and THE BREAD. Omg. It was perfectly toasted, buttery and flavorful. I could've just eaten 8 of whatever rolls they use. The breakfast burrito was good too, but the sandwich was the star. I will say the americanos were pretty weak, but I just prefer strong coffee. read more

We somehow never made it to Jack's Corner Cafe before today, and it exceeded our expectations. Wide variety of food options available. I got the avocado toast from the lighter menu, and my fiancé got the French toast, bacon, and eggs. The avocado toast was probably one of the best I've had in Buffalo, came on sourdough bread with hardboiled eggs and EBTB seasoning. My fiancé's French toast was fluffy and had great flavor, the bacon crispy to a good level, not too crunchy. Our food came out quickly after ordering. There are plenty of spots to sit including several tables, high top seats by the window, and a couch. Really cute vibe in there. We will definitely make a point to come back here. read more

July 9th was my second visit to Jack's Corner Cafe. After my first visit, I had a couple of items in mind for the next time I was there. The Breakfast Burrito, for one. I'd seen one the last time and it looked terrific. But I caved, decided to try the quiche. Glad I did because it was quite possibly the best quiche I ever had. Last visit was a Saturday and at lunch time. Place was packed. The 9th was a Tuesday and half past the lunch hour. Seating for four was available, no waiting. We didn't get so lucky with parking, though. Had to go around a couple of blocks to find a spot. But, of course, it was worth it. Next time: The Breakfast Burrito. read more

I ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon. It was absolutely massive and loaded with avocado, eggs, pico, black beans, and cheese. The tortilla was soft but didn't fall apart while eating the burrito. Their breakfast menu looks delicious and fresh. I'll be dropping by this place every time I'm in downtown Buffalo. read more

The avocado toast was amazing! Generous portion of avocado on the toast. The fresh orange juice was good too. My teenaged daughter had churros French toast and she loved it. The only disappointment was that they didn't have decaffeinated coffee drinks as it was in the afternoon when we visited and I can't have caffeine in the afternoon. So I didn't get to try their coffee. And parking was a challenge as we are from out of town and was not prepared to drive around to look for a paid parking space. Pretty much every spot will have eggs potatoes and bacon with toast but here it's elevated. The hash browns are perfect crispy and warm. The bread is sourdough and the eggs are perfectly cooked your way. The bacon is the only thing was just ok. On another ocasión I had the breakfast burrito. Don't you dare get off the 33 expressway, and pass the intersection of Oak and Genesee St. Without stopping and checking out Jacks corner Cafe. I understand their website says they are a cozy coffee shop. But I am here to tell you, there's so much more to them than that. Jack's offers breakfast and lunch options, that are truly amazing and everything is a must try. Ooh and I can't forget to mention, the cold press juices. The Cafe has a decent amount of inside tables to dine at. But depending on the time and day, it can easily get pretty crowded. So depending on the weather, you may feel better eating on their outside patio. Breakfast sandwich- OMG.. I found a love I never knew I lost. This sandwich is definitely on the top of my list, as one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. This isn't your average egg, bacon and cheese sandwich. This sandwich is for those who enjoy eating food outside the box. It's creative and filling. The house made roll is soft and chewy, and the herb cream cheese is such a great compliment to the sandwich. I have been coming to Buffalo New York for work for multiple years now. One of my coworker recommended Jack's corner Café. I am extremely happy that he did because this spot is exactly the type of place that I look for. High-quality coffee/espresso drinks and a nice bite to eat. I am a big espresso guy and I'm a huge fan of Cortados. Not everyone can make them even tho, in my opinion, they're a simple drink. The quality of the food is above par and the prices are more than fair. The service is impeccable and the vibe of the restaurant is great. The only thing that they could improve on is maybe the beans. That is more of a specific taste because I do enjoy dark roasted beans. I will be coming here every trip that I come to Buffalo for. read more

Absolutely amazing experience! This place is so cute and the food is really great. I love the options for breakfast or lunch. We had avocado toast which was delicious and a yogurt parfait to share. My husband and I ordered an açai bowl to go, and the staff was very accommodating. Even the customers inside were all sooo nice, it was just such a welcoming atmosphere and environment. I had to get my passport renewed up the street, and after driving for 6 hours a coffee was much needed. This place is modern and hip, with very friendly staff. My espresso based coffee in a small cup at $5+ was nothing spectacular and I feel too expensive. However it satisfied my craving. read more

Stopped by on my way out of Buffalo, so glad I did! Got the stacks, which came with fried eggs, chorizo, tomato, and cheesy grits with a side of toast. The smokiness of the chorizo and the richness of the grits really benefitted from the grilled tomato, and having the toast to scoop up the egg yolk and leftover grits worked perfectly. Everything was seasoned well and I'll definitely keep this place in mind next time I'm in town. read more

Go here now. This is an absolute gem on the outskirts of downtown. It's adorable inside and outside. Super friendly staff. But everything shines. I'm a coffee snob and the sweet cream cold brew totally blew me away. The cappuccino is beautiful and perfectly done. It lets talk about the breakfast sandwich. You can get one at any coffee shop, right? But this one blows them all out of the water. The herbed cream cheese gives it such a different taste and that fresh roll completes it. I usually prefer my sandwiches without eggs, but they made it perfectly. My only suggestion would be choice of meat as I prefer sausage to bacon, but I still give this sandwich top marks. The angels sing when you taste this combo of cappucino and creme brulee. I'm not one for gimmicky coffee drinks - this is a legit world class coffee drink. Just do it. I have been a few times for the coffee and was determined to be hungry the next time I went so I could try some menu items. The first thing I chose was when I went for lunch was the rice bowl. Filling without leaving you ladened. The Crepes were filled with a light cremed anglais-like filing without being heavy or cloying. We got the Berries, which was a nice medley of black & blueberries. The Classic was a little paltry with only two thinly pieces of burned bacon. The rest was good: scrambled eggs, hashbrown-type homefries and WELL-BUTTERED, salty, grilled Ciabbata toast! Chewy and delish! They have a variety of tropical teas, which are refreshing but unsweetened (be warned if you're looking for sweetness. The lemonade added does not give enough sugar.) Very great hip brunch spot. I got iced coffee and then on the menu I picked avocado toast under the category "something light" very good. A lot of avocado which is good just was too much and made my bread soggy super quick. I only didn't like the way they stacked my toast on top of each other because my top piece had avocado stuck underneath. The presentation is beautiful. The inside is certainly thought out for decorations and what I loved the most is the little kids craft table to keep peoples children entertained. Second time here. The atmosphere is loud - poor music choice; I mean really awful - come wearing earbuds. The cashier was friendly this time. My order - BLT with potato salad was served pretty quickly. The BLT was served on a soft roll with lots of greens. The cream cheese and avocado were a good touch. Some red onion would have balanced the sandwich well. But, overall, quite good. The potato salad was delicious. The passion iced tea was enjoyable as well.
