This Jack's in Dora is pretty cool. The interior is probably the nicest Jack's I've seen in a while, it's probably new or has been renovated recently. The booths are comfortable and the whole restaurant was very inviting. It gave me a cabin feel kind of like a Cracker Barrel. My dad and I came here last week and ordered their fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and biscuit. The chicken was cooked pretty well, maybe a tad dry, but overall very good. The mashed potatoes and biscuit were delicious as well. I highly recommend this location. read more

Waited in the drive thru for 40 minutes and there was only 4 cars in front of me!! Couldn't get out of line because of a curb.

This is the type of respect more than one of their employees have, because it's happened like this many times at this place with me and other people. I never eat fast food, and this is what I get. This is a grilled chicken sandwich. As you can see, somebody that doesn't want their job anymore (so oblige them, manager) grabbed a filet, seasoned and fried it with the standard fried chicken, and stuck it in between bread with nothing else. The amount of consideration I show when it comes to attitude and when/how to order to make things easier on them, and this is how I get treated so many times. Bye, fast food! I give Jack's hamburgers 4 stars because it well exceeds my expectations for fast food. If you're not native to north Alabama you may never have encountered Jack's. They do burgers, chicken, don't forget the breakfast, and of course ice cream and shakes. The food is excellent, and far better than any national franchise I can think of. If you find yourself in a position to you should definitely try Jack's. read more

Honestly, I have always had great experiences at other jacks locations, but not this one. My autistic brother and I were on our way home from Memphis and decided to stop for burgers. This trip ended with both of us in shock. The lady behind the counter openly mocked my brothers mannerisms after we placed our orders. She lifted her hand and slapped it on her chest in order to mock those with mental disabilities. I saw her continue to make those gestures to other employees only to receive laughs and smiles. I'll never eat here ever again. This behavior is just ungodly and I'm sure illegal. I asked for the manager only to get an 800 number.
