We were heading out of town and getting ready to go for a fall drive/end up at a waterfall in the area and we wanted to grab a couple drinks for the road trip. This location is a bit out of the way and when we arrived there wasn't anyone here. We didn't go inside, so this review is for the drive through only. Staff were quick to get our order and had us pull around to the window. Friendly when they greeted us, really nothing else they could have done better. Drinks were as ordered ... tea was sweet! Prices were the same as all other Jack's locations - A large drink is $2.19 (including tax). For ease of access and friendly attitude, we could recommend them to others. Maybe next time we are in the area we'll grab a bite to eat. read more

Stopped got 2 Big Jack Meals.They use to have the best service and awesome fries . Not today. Won't go back there. The fries was cold no salt! ‍ OK so the other day I ordered two meals for me and my family. I get all the way home and it's completely messed up. I called the manager and she says come on in and get another one so couple days later I came in got the order and it was completely messed up again and they added on the extra large stuff in my order that I didn't even want. So this morning I go back telling them my situation. Before they give my "FIXED" meals I hear them saying to other workers there " hey this order has been replaced two times we can't keep doing this blah blah blah " well you need to keep fixing it if you keep messing it up!! Or here's a thought actually make the food the way the customer wants do not mix up orders or mess them up in anyway or add on extras that the customer didn't even need !! Maybe that's a genius idea!?¿! Instead of hashbrowns I substituted for an extra biscuit instead of grits i substitute for pancake well by the picture you can clearly see there's not an extra biscuit in either of them. Jack's Family Restaurant - The mess up again - Burgers Near Me - Fort Payne, Alabama

Do not ever eat at this restaurant. I just had one of the worst experiences I've had in a retail setting in decades. The restaurant was dirty. The staff was untrained. It was impossible to determine who was a manager. When I asked about a manager nobody seemed to know who the manager was. they were out of four of the five things that I tried to order. The staff was having what I'll just describe as inappropriate conversations behind the counter right in front of all the customers. When I did finally get to order something that they said they had, I waited 20 to 25 minutes to get it and then found out they didn't have any of the sauces to go with it that I had requested. This restaurant is atrocious and if this is the representative of the Jack's chain I will never ever go to Jack's again read more

Never in my life have I had to deal with racism but two of the ladies where so rude to me and my wife when we stopped in for the 2 for 5 at 2pm to 5pm milkshake deal she charged us $8 for them and when I asked her about it she slammed the receipt down and told us she didn't know how to put it back on my card. I wasn't really tripping about to $2 I just wanted to know why you didn't apply the deal for us and it was 3:19pm I just want answers this was my First and last time stopping at a jacks I didnt even want to give it a one star because I'm so disappointed read more

This is the worst fast food place you will ever experience! This place is run by 9th grade educated trash and the insides of the building match the employees nastiness. If you enjoy sitting in long lines for over 25 mins to order and be told after waiting in line that they don't have what you ordered then this is the sh*thole for you. Living in a rural community there aren't many places to get breakfast but if you dont mind waiting for them to open around 4:45 or 5 or 5:35 or whenever they feel like showing up to work, they will screw up your breakfast order and piss you off first thing of every morning you try to get breakfast. Did i mention that when you tell them they are wrong that they get mad and tell you that you are wrong. Overall this place and really the North end store are garbage, pure trash of a business. Management is a joke! Just to note, the old ladies are fantastic and so kind and it is sad what this company has done to their image. These ladies show up day in and day out and work circles around everyone else and the management just runs it in the ground making them look bad. read more

Was craving fried chicken. Worst fried chicken I have ever tried to eat. Dry, room temperature, one chicken leg looked like it had dried blood in it. We ordered 8 piece mixed box and 2 orders of fries. Fries were hot and tasted good. So we paid 18 dollars for fries. The chicken went into the dumpster. Jack's is a big deal in Alabama from Birmingham on north. I have no idea why, but it is. You can find a Jack's in almost every town in that area, even tiny towns with just a few hundred people. The burgers are OK, but they don't have a very large burger menu by any means. They also sell fried chicken and ice cream and that's about it. I've been to a couple of real stinkers when it comes to Jack's, but the one in Ft. Payne was fine. Cute girls are working there (virtually no boys working in those places, I've happily noticed) and they were all very, very nice. One of the girls named "Memphis" was constantly cleaning the dining area; she was definately keeping the place in good shape. Burger was decent; much better than one I had at the Jack's in Fyffe later on that week. Yuck! With so many Jack's in Bama, it's easy to stop in one for a quick lunch to tide you over until dinner. read more
