When things are seldom right you do try to correct it. On the other hand gas is used to go thru the line to get what could have been a 1time purchase done right. today is the last for me I drive over 10 miles for the hunt for semi deceit service. I ordered 2 simple items, just a little tired of the take backs. So I decided to take pictures of what was given to me. Saves me gas and eventhough I m not satisfied at least it only affected me, not my family. so another item Ill get elsewhere. Thank you anyway. the worse for me was my younger one and I went inside to have lunch, hers was ok, my chicken had been sitting it appeared to have been just reheated. It was dry over cooked and hard. I tore it apart trying not to take it back, when i went to show it to the server he asked me where was the chicken as if I had eaten it. I never found a piece I could eat. He took it back but grumbled about me returning it and I would have to wait 15 min or more. so you can figure out my thoughts, serving me was a problem, had you served the bottom of the barrel?. I waited until my other party had finished eating, and exited the facility.like today I never asked for a refund ever. 6 months later I tried again. this is it for me Im really afraid to trust it any more. Meh. That's almost all I have to say about this place for lunch. Short staffed, early transition from breakfast to lunch, long lines of people standing around holding their receipt like a lotto ticket, limited menu for food shortages, and so-so food when you do get it. I purchased two grilled chicken BLT salads to go, Just like I have many times before. However today there was no cheese, about a half of the grilled chicken (I think they had one and just split it between the two salads.) But even with that it's was a good salad at a good price. The cook was doing an amazing job trying to keep orders going and out the door (he was cooking as fast as possible), but the some of front staff was not taking orders and was just standing around. And the drive thru line was wrapped around the building. Ending up going inside to place order and about 7 people waiting in line - 2 walked out door while waiting. Last night, my friend and I came through and ordered at the drive thru. We had our order prewritten in our notes, as we were picking up for multiple people. One of our Big Jacks was requested to have no lettuce and no onion. The other Bigger Jack was requested with no tomato. The Big Jack came with all of that (plus cheese for some reason?), and the Bigger Jack had tomato. We came back after just getting back home, and let the girl know at the window that the sandwiches were wrong. She immediately gets a little defensive, and goes "I put those in the bag first, they were in there". But we iterated that they were just wrong, even brought them back in case they wanted to take them back before remaking them. She took our receipt, told us to park, and she would bring out our food shortly. After about 10 minutes, we were brought our food. The lady told us to have a goodnight. We go home again, open our sandwiches, and the Big Jack STILL had lettuce and cheese on it. We decided to just not go back because it wasn't worth it. My friend bites into the burger, and pulls a hair out of her mouth. We checked to see if it matched any of our hair, to give benefit of doubt, but it wasn't a match. I understand being understaffed and losing the will to work hard, especially when you're not being paid enough. It sounds like it could definitely be a management problem, and an understaffing and overworking issue. Bad experience, will probably drive further for Jacks. read more

I've only been to Jack's twice, and its ok. Nothing spectacular, but not horrible either. But their ranch dressing. This, and only this is the reason to go to Jack's. If they're out, just drive on by. The ranch dressing is the absolute best. Their chicken tenders when they are freshly made are really good, and dipped in the ranch dressing, they're even better. Their french fries can hold their own, again when they're freshly made. The seasoning is fantastic, but dip them in ranch and so much better. Did I mention their ranch dressing? I ordered the new 8 piece chicken nugget meal today and the nuggets were not edible.They were so old and overcooked that they were hard to chew ,causing me to gag.I can't believe I got low quality food for $6 dollars! This place sucks. They can't get a drive-thru order right. My daughter likes the BLT salad with crispy chicken but every time we get one they forget to put the chicken on it, and it just happened again. We're head out on a trip and spun through there to get some breakfast. They informed us that they were out of biscuits so we ordered some breakfast wraps and a salad. Terrible customer service. I ordered a holiday feast and two family big boxes on the Jack's website and requested delivery from the Hughes Store in Madison, AL. The Door Dasher who picked up the food did not deliver it to me. Instead, I received an order from Burger King. After texting the Dasher, he returned and took the Burger King order but never brought the correct Jacks order. I was told to call DoorDash to resolve this, and DoorDash pointed the finger back to Jack's and said Jacks would have to issue my refund since I made the purchase through their website. The Jacks restaurant refused to refund the order and said it was a DoorDash delivery issue. I have been bounced back and forth--I don't care who issues the refund. I just want my money back. This is just bad business. We enjoy Jacks food, but customers should not have to pay for what we do not receive, especially for this large of an order. Also tried to call Jack's corporate office to voice my concerns and it goes straight to voicemail. read more

For a fast food restaurant, this place is pretty great. I always have the freshest food, and the staff here is exceptionally nice. The Big Jack Burger is thick, and the topping are fresh and the bun is soft. The chicken fingers however are the best chicken fingers you can find especially in a fast food. The ranch is also homemade. Be warned, the fries are delightful but since they are seasoned to order, sometimes they can have a little extra seasoning salt on them. THe breakfast is wonderful as well, and if you are carb conscience you can orders sides of everything. Side of Bacon, or side of eggs with cheese. This allows you to create you won meal. We frequent this restaurant because of the location. Unfortunately, we won't be coming any more. The staff members at this restaurant are extremely rude. They are constantly running out of menu items long before they close. They offer no apology and have to be asked specifics regarding what items they currently have, as opposed to them offering the information. I saw a billboard for this and thought it was a Jack in the Box. (In fact I thought Jack in the Box changed their name/logo until two minutes ago when I looked this up and realized they are two completely different companies). It's a nice, clean restaurant with a really friendly staff. There is a nice big breakfast selection (and most of it is available all day long) as well as hamburgers and chicken. I had a chicken sandwich and my husband got a double burger of some kind (it was huge, I can say that much). The food was great. The fries are big plump crinkly fries and they're really good. They have a few options for kids so our "chicken and fries" loving boy was happy. The best part was the ice cream we had for dessert. It was so yummy and creamy. I had a scoop of Smoky Mountain (chocolate with something yummy in it -- cookies, I think) and cookies and cream and our son had the vanilla. It was a big hit with both of us. I am not sure what has happened to this Jacks. It used to be very good. The last two times I have picked up chicken dinners the chicken was over cooked. This time it had chunks of fried skin and over cooked. I had a wing that was the size of two grapes. I won't be back to this store. They need to get their act together. I ordered a number 1 combo from the lunch menu at 9 am. I forgot to pack lunch and I was racing to grab food before class. As soon as I noticed that it was only available past 10am, I tried to change my order. The person taking my order said that he wanted me to leave with the food I wanted, so I got what I wanted. For a place that is known for burgers and fries this place is good. I alway was skeptical of this place when I first moved to Alabama but it has grown on me. I come here multiple times a week for lunch since it is close to work. The staff is always nice and now know me by my name. I grabbed breakfast from Jack's drive-thru on a day I had to go in to work early (5:00 am). The coffee was very weak and the chicken biscuit was bland to the point of flavorless. On the plus side the woman working the drive-thru window was friendly. read more
