My family members went to buy wedding attire, on suggestions from loyal patrons,. After the first visit they were treated with very poor service. When time to pick up suites, different employees, same rude service! Their suites were altered totally wrong at pickup. I am appalled at this! My husband and his Dad were loyal patrons of Jack's for many, many years with never a problem. If I could post pictures of the horrible tailoring jobs, I would. Buttons falling off, didn't cut pants but put a hem in them about 6 inches long, then had the nerve to add a split and throw the pants at customer when quote... "that was the best she could do!" They were to be cut and tapered! The buyer is every bit of 5 ft. tall! The Grooms pants were tapered and bunched! They are on their way to Cleveland to get that messed fixed before the wedding! Poor alteration service. Took brand new $80 pants to be hemmed - tags on. They hemmed them in a different color thread - replaced a double stitched hem with a single stitched hem - left threads hanging out the pants leg - it looks hand sewn as the line is not perfect - insisted on payment before trying on which is not correct protocol and policy at any other alterations place and then would not give a refund. Will NEVER go back. Their suits are out dated and old fashioned and they can't even do a basic hem on khakis. Save yourself some trouble and go to Diamond's. Or anywhere else for that matter!!!! read more

Even though I live in Columbus.... That is my go to place to buy men clothes.. I been going to Jack's since my boys was real young

Okay. I walked in, was super satisfied with the selection. Boyfriend tried on shoes, and was satisfied. We then asked if we could try on a suit to go with my shoes. We did, when we were done, we asked if he had a different color shirt and the store manager then said " no if you can't visualize it I'm sorry I'm not giving you the shirt." I was super confused.. I was confused why we couldn't see a black shirt. He told us that our service wasn't valued because he said we probably wouldn't but anything. I worked in sales my whole life and he was the worst salesperson I ever came across. We were really going to buy all three things but since he was very rude to us, and also talking down on us to other people in the store, I told him we weren't giving him any of our money because of our experience with poor customer service because he was very rude when we were nothing but polite. He then told us " omg I'm going to close down over night" sarcastically speaking. He then told me that we were a waste of his time and that he wasn't worried about how he treated his customers because he would still obtain business no matter what. It then turned to a heated argument and was calling me out of my name and I then told him that he seriously would even talk to a lady like that. He shouts out in front of everyone, " who's the fucking lady?" Mind you this man is around 54 - early 60s. He was Also yelling at me with all the other customers in the store along with another female. I didn't get his name but would definitely recognize him If I seen him. Horrible experience. Literally made me so mad, my boyfriend had to pull me out of the store, and I cried from being so angry. If you want to go to a great suit place I would definitely advise " New York collections" where we then went next down the street. They're are super helpful. read more
