My husband and I shared the banana split, we had to eat it so fast because it was melting so quickly ? We been dying to try this place out! But we get busy with work! So we went last Saturday night, no one was in there but us, and 1 other couple. Either they need to turn the AC on high.. or check the machine temperature? Most likely won't return.

Wow, so good. Loved the idea of "rolled" icecream. If you've not had it, it is unique enough to check out just for that. My oreo cookies and cream rolled icecream was delicious! I'm frequently disappointed with some cookies and cream because the chunks of oreo are too small. Not the case here with chunks in each bite. Loved that. I got the regular size which was enormous. The Junior size would have worked: $5.99 vs $6.99. Tons of different options and flavors. Nice area to sit inside but also could get to-go. Fast, friendly service. Interesting to watch the creations. This place is unique. It is worth a longer drive to check them out.

Generous portions, a wide array of flavour choices, and ease of customization make this ice cream spot a great place to grab some frozen dessert. You get a great ratio of flavour in every bite, and the service is fast. You can even go down to Publix before or after to run errands because it's two doors or so down. Will come here again!

Quite a gem in this area for an array of soft serve, sundaes, milk shakes, shaved ice and their custom made rolled ice cream creations. Friday night the place is packed, no surprise. The staff work tirelessly and on stop to fill these orders and these rolled creations are labor intensive. Your hardest decision is which one to try first. Great experience and please tip well they deserve it.

This was a perfect snack after we sweat buckets hiking at Little Manatee River State Park. Place was cute and staff was super friendly. I had some brownie fudge ice cream. Soooo good!!!!

Wowza! Jack's Shack was closed for a few weeks for renovations. Although I suffered from withdrawals it was worth the wait! The new look is more open and spacious. All the same flavors and more! They now have an ice cream case of flavors to offer up in scoops in addition to their rolled ice cream and shaved ice.

Atmosphere - Tiki lounge cool. Although small, the restaurant is decorated nicely in a fun, beach way. The menu is large and placed in a wall where you enter the restaurant. Service - Excellent. We were greeted and served by the owner, who is very friendly. Ice Cream - very good. The selections are varied and interesting. Some of the items involve a house blend of ingredients prepared on an extremely cold steel plate. I opted to order a chocolate milkshake, which was excellent. Overall - the restaurant is a welcome addition to the area. The quality and prices are very reasonable.

Wow! This is exactly what we need in this area. Great refreshing ice cream, sundaes, and more. Today we tried a cookie dough rolled ice cream, a banana split sundae and a brownie sundae. All were fantastic! The rolled ice cream is really cool and way better than I expected. I prefer creamy smooth ice cream and I was nervous about the texture of the rolled, it was still creamy and delicious! Sundaes were big and also very good. Owners are incredibly nice and welcoming. We just moved to the area and wanted to try the closest ice cream shop. Boy were we glad we did! The store is cute with indoor and outdoor seating and felt clean and fresh. Service was quick and friendly, but the best part was that the rolled ice cream creations were awesome! They also have a punch card to get free ice cream after 10 purchases. read more

Great service and great treats. The owners are so sweet! The first time I went I had Hawaiian ice and it was so good. Went back a week later with my daughter and we had the Hawaiian ice again. My daughter loves ice cream and icy treats so she asked to back again the next as she wanted a hot fudge sundae. So we went back this time with my husband and mom in tow! My mom, and I had the hot fudge sundae and it was so good. My daughter got the brownie sundae which was also very good. My husband got the Hawaiian ice cone. Love this little spot!! I have to say it's the best ice cream I've had in Sun City. I walked out of Publix with my nephew on Sunday we noticed it but had bought dessert at bakery so decided to pass it up. Well that will not happen again I plan to be a regular at Jack's Shack the ice cream is AMAZING and so many flavors to choose from. I had the coconut cream with coconut flakes it was DELICIOUS. Really amazing service and I'm not sure if her coworker was being funny but the first woman at the window was not so friendly to her so I'm glad I was able to get her to help us.

Items do not come out with any quality control- very poor customer experience I've never been to a Andy's before and I am not at all familiar with a single menu item. I ordered 2 large concrete ooeey gooey butter cakes. When I received the first one, I sat down and took a few bites and was extremely confused by why it was plain vanilla with little to none of the other items listed on the menu, it was very plain vanilla custard. I've ordered items like that before to be very disappointed with the amount of mix but this was the worst by far I've ever ordered. This was my first experience and I didn't know what to expect so I turned it to its side and noticed there is a bunch of caramel looking syrup and cookie like bites at the very bottom all smooshed down there. I then precede to stab the plastic spoon through the thick custard, which was lovely, only to find that the bottom mix of caramel and cookie is literally glued to the bottom like a suction cup. Now I'm sitting on the bench in 80+ degree weather, the sun is blaring and I'm aggressively stabbing the ice to get to the very bottom, barely with enough spoon to be able to grab any because the large is extremely tall and the spoon is...not at all. Now this concrete looks like a mess on top with the custard starting to melt and giant hole where I smooshed the custard down to try to get the topping but failing miserably. Then the second concrete comes out and its a completely different item on the menu, or so it seems because my first one was astronomically different. I try the second concrete and its delicious so I brought my large concrete back and told them it wasn't mixed and I couldn't stir it and that I stabbed a large hole in there trying to rectify that. It was pretty melted on the top now from the heat of my labors as well as the sun and temperature outside. The girl just looked at me for a second and I said I don't know if they can mix it because my spoon wasn't working and don't know how anything is made in the back. She then asked if I wanted another one and went to walk away I think, it was hard to tell because the sun was blaring in my eyes and It wasn't even easy to see her face in the building. I said I was not trying to get this for free and handed it back to her. The wind was blowing and I was dropping items so I very quickly handed it to her. Another employee then brought me the newly mixed concrete. When she went to hand it to me she hesitated for a second, pulled her hands back, and then blatantly stated loudly, "Next time you have a problem with one of our items, please bring it to our attention before you eat HALF of it". I explained to the first girl that I attempted to mixed it and the ice cream on top literally melted and frozen particle are scientifically larger than liquid particles. I was astounded she was so incredibly rude and to make such a scene and speak so nasty and unprofessionally to a customer is horrific. The girl also said in response to me reacting to her comment "I'm not being hostile with my comment." I didn't want to take it and she shoved it at me so I just took it and left. I have never had such a bad experience at any food location ever. I'm still can't believe that actually happened but I have a witness that assures me it did. I haven't had custard in years and I'll never ever go back to an Andy's location because of my terrible experience. I would never want my business to have such a disgusting customer experience so I wanted to bring it you you attention. Your employee was so incredibly rude it made me feel awful that I even bothered to ask. I felt unsafe eating the custard because if she spoke to me that way, she seemed brazen enough to possibly do something else very nasty and unkind. I couldn't even eat it, I felt dirty and gross.
