I will be a returning customer here! Walked in and ordered and received my sandwich in record time. The staff was extremely friendly and hustling to get food out. They use Boars Head products which are my fav. I got the chicken salad sandwich and a bag of chips for $16.48 which in this area is the standard price for lunch. The sandwich was delicious! The chicken salad was creamy without being too heavy on mayo and the bread was soft. Definitely give this place a try if you're looking for a nice lunch sammie! There were multiple sandwich and salad options as well as sides, dessert/bakery items, canned/bottled drinks, and coffee too. There was tons of outside shaded seating.

Almost $8 for a large coffee and was halfway full is just wild and it was ssa too just go get a redbull atp

This is such an awesome little cafe. I came by during lunch on a week day and it was pretty packed, but the ordering process was very easy and swift. I like how you can customize sandwiches to your liking, and the outdoor seating area is really nice. I got a Chicken Salad Wrap. It was alright -- not the best I've had, and I felt like the ingredients weren't super balanced. It was almost all spinach inside of the wrap and the chicken salad itself was also jut alright. I've definitely had better wraps for the price, but this was a nice spot to eat, sit, and work outdoors. Will probably be back soon :)

What an unexpected delight! I got an iced dirty try, and it was really really good! They have a beautiful patio outside and free parking in the lot. Everyone was super nice, and the food came out quick! The Caprese sandwich was good, but needed a lot of salt and I took it to go so I didn't have any.

The service was prompt and efficient. They made my sandwich so well. I was craving an Italian sub and they didn't disappoint. The French baguette was crisp and fresh. The deli dressing was so on point! I loved the tuna melt my husband ordered too. I would definitely come back here again for another amazing deli sandwich. The cafe itself is very causal but it's exactly what you expect from it and it works!

This place is absolutely amazing, drop everything you are doing and come eat here! Delicious sandwiches and salads! Thank you again for the amazing food!

I think they should rename this place, "Well Hidden" or "The Secret Place" because the only way you'll find it is because you probably already know it's there. They do good business so maybe that's the idea. I'm glad it's working for them because they make freakin' great sandwiches! You have your choice of creating your own sandwich or salad or getting one that has the ingredients already created for you, such as an Italian sub, Rueben, etc. I made my own sandwich. I went with turkey, on sourdough. It was huge! I only ate half, but that gave me a nice snack to take home. I hate to say, the sourdough bread just tasted like white bread. What a bummer. I can't believe such a great sandwich place has sourdough bread that isn't sour. Still, even with the whitebread taste of the sourdough bread, it still tasted great. It was loaded up. See my pics. They really know how to make a great sammich!! They have a nice variety of chips and drinks to go along with your meal, as well as some bakery items. You order your food at the check stand and they bring it out to you. We ordered a couple of cookies but realized they didn't give them to us until we were already gone! Another bummer. My friend went back and got his, though. I was already too far away before I realized it. I sure hate missing out on a good cookie! There's no indoor seating but there's plenty of nice outdoor patio seating. The sandwiches are in the $13-$14 range so with chips and a drink you'll easily spend $20 plus tip. It is good, though and so is the quality. Nice staff, too!

I ordered my Cilantro Egg Salad through Doordash today. Now, this isn't the first time I've had it, in fact this is the ONLY place that I will eat Egg Salad from! But today, whoever made my sandwich did such an amazing job that I actually called Jackson Cafe to tell them! Keep up the amazing work! All of the sandwiches and even the desserts that I've had from your restaurant are DELICIOUS!

Unfortunately I still come here occasionally due to the lack of lunch options in this area. I had lunch with my girlfriend here a few days ago and she had a big bug in her salad (picture is attached). The person at the register was apologetic and refunded her money. read more

I cannot say enough great things about this place! I'm a sucker for good customer service, and this place surpasses my highest expectations with flying colors! They have a huge variety of all the best things, that you can't find everywhere. They use top notch ingredients, whether it be the Boars Head deli meats and cheeses, or great quality espresso and organic milks and protein powders for the delicious drinks.. Noor is absolutely amazing! You can tell that they truly care about the quality of the product, and the satisfaction of the customers.. I wish I could give Jackson Cafe 10 + stars! Stopped by while on a walk, and was met with great service and a tasty wrap. It's not in a super obvious location, but once you get into the parking lot it's just past the first building. Everyone was wearing masks except the cops there (hmm) and everything was yummy. read more

DO NOT GO TO JACKSON'S CAFE!!! When this cafe opened it was great!..BUUT!!! now service is terrible the very last time I ordered a fettuccini pasta the girl that used to be the cashier seem to have prepared my food and when i got home SURPRISE!!! THE pasta was charcoal.. Also most of Paul Ferrante staff would come to jacksons and 99.9% got awful service.. It is extremely difficult to find meaningful interactions in a restaurant, especially in Los Angeles. We don't have expectations that dining over sandwiches will offer anything more than that. There is not a restaurant that will make you feel more welcome than this. After nearly 5 years away, I visited tonight with some friends who had moved to the neighborhood. My first time back, I felt like it was my 400th time there, and I was already a regular. We were offered food we didn't order just to try, in addition to the incredible food we actually ordered. You know how Olive Garden says "when you're here, you're family"? They have no idea what they're talking about. Sam and the team here actually mean it, sharing food with guests out of the pure passion of introducing new dishes to guests, sharing a communal experience on a Sunday night, and really turning over our expectations on dining out. Either way, the food is fresh, the sandwich filling squeezed out the sides like they're trying to hook you up extra. The pizza came out with those cheetah spots on the dough so you know it's fire. Plus the tomato sauce was legit. This city gets such a bad rap about how phony people can be, but there really are people in the community who run businesses and are genuinely welcoming. The jerk chicken sandwich is delicious! If you like coffee cake and chocolate chip cookies, I could not more highly recommend the chocolate chip coffee cake. And to add to the great food the customer service is wonderful! Very warm, friendly, and helpful! (I asked them several questions about cookies and ingredients and they answered them all with a smile...and I came in a few minutes before closing!) read more

Big portions, quality ingredients, and good prices. Dinner: custom made salad with corned beef brisket, olives, pickles, goat cheese, romaine, cherry tomatoes and cranberries. Best salad I've had in a long time. Has a patio front. Located in an industrial plaza in a blue building. They are relatively new and are expanding their lunch hours into dinner. There's no wait when we went around 5:00pm. Friendly staff came to check on us on the patio to ask how our food was. It was excellent. My friend got a sandwich and it was huge! She got two meals out of it. Will definitely come back. Try this place if you need a quick lunch or dinner and convenient after hiking Baldwin stairs. read more

Sam is the best and the friendliest. He takes care of all the customers and calls them by name. He stops and talks to his customers and recommends what best in the menu (all that's in the menu are superb and delicious). All other reviewers here need to learn how to manage their time. Complaining that a busy lunch spot is busy is the dumbest thing Ive ever heard and If you work in or around the office park you should DEFINITELY know better, all you 1 star reviewers are little children. Great food for lunch, quick service if you order online and during off-lunch hours and nothing to complain about in terms of customer service, if you're expecting a fine dining experience then don't come to a office park sandwich market....jeez. read more

If you are a Jackson Market fan and can't make it to the OG locale, they recently opened a cafe just east of downtown Culver City. Located right between the La Cienega Metro Stop & The Culver City steps, this small satellite locale pumps out tasty sandwiches, hot coffee, & snacks for the hungry hordes of savages. Amazing customer service! I accidentally ordered from their other location online for pick up. Not realizing i arrived at the jefferson location, and my order wasn't there. The gentleman in charge was so gracious, and offered to cancel my order at that location, refund me, and re make the sandwiches at no cost. Now THAT is some customer service!! I tried to tip him, and he said he was very grateful, but to give the $ to someone in need. Wow, not only did he make my day, but I will be telling all my friends who work and live in the area to visit their shop. This place is the best! Wanted to wait until I ordered a few times before leaving a review. The food is consistently great!! Quality ingredients and fresh every time! Haven't met the people who work there but I can tell their food is made with love They are so kind and write thank you notes on my to go bag. It's Christmas time and they wished me, Merry Christmas and put a little candy cane in with my food...and today, they put a fresh baked pastry in for free. They know how to treat people. With restaurants struggling at this difficult time I plan on being a long time customer. Happy to support honest to goodness, great people that serve great food!! read more

Had an amazing conversation w/Sam as my order was being made today. As an avid supporter of delicatessens this experience really blew me away. It was so refreshing to talk to someone who I could tell really has a love for sandwiches. That may sound silly to some but to me it was something that I really appreciated and this place has found a customer for life. With so much going on in the world these days, the tiny departure from the madness that Sam and I had with a conversation about something as simple as a sandwich and chips did more than you could ever imagine. I'm really such a sucker for a good, quality hummus and it was so creamy and the oil they topped it with was wonderful too. The veggies were fresh and the pita was such a star: it was thick and chewy and clearly freshly made. Immediate 5 star for the food. So glad I stopped by here and will definitely be back!

I seriously felt like I was one of those judges on a Food Network show with every first taste as it was THAT GOOD! The wine and beer selection was fantastic. I had a glass of the Marcio Lopes - Laranja and a glass of the Mammoth Pilsner. Our server, George, was fantastic and he ensured that our glasses were full and explained the preparation of every item. Plus he grabbed a snap of us prior to the meal. Thanks George! They have a breakfast/lunch (brunch) menu that they serve from 8am up until 2pm and a dinner menu that is available from 11am to 2pm & 5pm to 9:30pm. 1. Ginger & Cardamom Chai Latte (5/5) House-made chai with ginger and cardamom. If you like herbal spices, this drink was comforting and warming. It's not sweet, which I like and it paired well with the food dishes. 2. Crab Bhuna (4.75/5) Crab meat simmered in fragrant spices then topped with ginger, fennel seed, and curry leaves. It is served with soft, subtly sweet banana buns The crab meat was fresh and honestly, you couldn't even tell it's crab. It's seasoned perfectly with the aromatic Indian spices. The banana buns were interesting ... it was a bit on the dry side, but if you stuffed the airy pockets of the bun with the crab meat, it's not too bad. The banana bun had an interesting flavor profile; a mix of sweet-bitterness to it. 3. Sweet Potato Chaat (5/5) One of my favorite dishes here. It is sweet potato chunks mixed with a sauce blend of sweet corn, yogurt, tamarind, mint chutney and pomegranate. We work next to this cafe, and in the area there are not many options. This cafe became so ridiculous that we ALL are bringing food from home instead of having to eat anything from there. I once got frozen food from target and microwaved it, pretty sure it was the worst thing I ate, but I much rather do that then get in line here. Could give them -5 stars if I could. Please enjoy some of these jams: - one time they made me wait for a soup so long, only to realize there is no soup. Then the server scrapes up whats left at the bottom, all thick and stuff (maybe 1 inch of soup), then proceeds to charge me for a half soup.????? I ain't even mad. - one time i order a sandwich, go in there before the lunch rush. then everybody else comes in after me. they tell them to put their sandwich order papers on top of each others. they start taking the papers from top to bottom; what happens next is the people who came in 2 seconds ago get their orders first and people who came in 30 mins ago wait another 30 mins to get their orders last. - they randomly have excuses like "our cook is gone." "the oven is not working" "we don't have gas" " meeh, sorry we don't have coffee today. the guy who knew how to make coffee is not here". so ridiculous that you are asking for it if you are going there. read more

This place is truly a hidden gem! Every time we visit for a custom made deli sandwich, or even just a coffee, the quality is superb and the customer service is impeccable. And no joke, this is the BEST deli sandwich you can get in the Culver City area. Maybe even LA. Sam truly is an awesome guy and is the reason we've started to visit regularly. CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES!!!!! If I could give negative stars, I would. I've bought food from this establishment multiple times and my co-workers as well, and we've either had to remind employees to remove expired food from the shelves or have accidentally purchased spoiled foods. My co-worker, who is allergic to mold, said she found mold in her hummus. This place has the audacity to continue selling spoiled foods. This place really deserves to be downgraded to a C, or even an F for food service. read more

The worst customer service. Usually one guy running around like a chicken with his head cut off for 10-20 people. Hire more staff? I've been told "oh, we don't have eggs today." Or "we don't make those right now." Don't go here if you can help it. Sucks for surrounding businesses that have limited options for lunch. read more
