I placed a simple order for nuggets and fries for my girlfriend around 10:00 PM and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I got there at 10:40 PM, already well after the promised time, only to be met with a careless "five more minutes." That "five minutes" turned into 17 more. No urgency, no apology, no respect. What made it even worse was how casually the staff handled it. No courtesy for the delay, no discount, no acknowledgment that they wasted my time, just bad attitude and complete indifference. For a place with a name like Schnitzly, the service was embarrassingly low level. We finally took the food home late. Then the next morning, my girlfriend woke up nauseous from food poising and ended up throwing up multiple times within a couple of hours. Hey, I genuinely love you guys.. your food is usually amazing and I always recommend you but something went seriously wrong last night. I ended up getting food poisoning and was up all night with nonstop stomach issues. My guests are going through the same thing, and even a guy named Cameron (the usual customer who is Persian in his mid 30's and unmarried) who was picking up his food while I was there said he has diarrhea too. When I called to inquire about what happened, I was met with an unbelievable, rude obnoxious response from a man who identified himself as "Steve" - who should never be allowed to work in food service in any capacity, not even to sell hotdogs at a 7-11. East Coast guy and the bar is pretty high on Kosher for me. I'm goyim but grew up on some of the best spots in Brooklyn. This place stands on its own. I went with the Falafel wrap and added a side of sweet potato fries. Seriously delicious and love the take on comfort food this place has captured. I had high hopes for this place because I always love a good schnitzel. I also don't mind paying over $15 for a 6 inch sandwich, but at that price point you better be offering some thing pretty darn good. The French baguette was soft and seemed fresh. The schnitzel inside however left a lot to be desired. The chicken was a paper thin piece covered in a ton of breadcrumbs. So I was basically eating 80% breadcrumbs and 20% chicken. The chicken also had the consistency of having been frozen for a very long time and then thrown in a deep fryer. The vegetables thrown inside the sandwich were wilted and had minimal flavor. I ended up dowsing the thing and sauce which made it more palatable. However the overall experience was pretty bad. Deep frying a piece of chicken breast is pretty straightforward stuff but this one missed the mark pretty badly. read more

Ordered from Uber eats, they gave us incredibly small portions, so much as I bought 3 sides of schnitzel and one 6" baguette and the pieces of meat were so tiny and dry, and not to forget the seasoned ones did not taste good so be warned and don't get them. It didn't even fill my sandwich like it did in the picture. It took me putting 3 in there to fill it up and I doubt that they put so much extra in their regular baguette if they order it. My yelp account is always held as a last resort as I never want to ruin someone's income. Tonight however, I have encountered the worst management/consumer service I have ever experienced. The Restaraunt closes at 11 pm and I walked in and ordered at 10:30. I was the only customer there with the exception of 1 other... The staff rudely told me to eat my food outside so that they can start to clean the floor. After about 25 minutes from ordering (10:45). Keep in mind that I am the only order they have to prepare... I get my food that was the wrong order. I asked a couple of the guys who prepared my food and they fixed the sandwich. I'll be honest... it was delicious. I wish however my review could end here. Sadly, this happened. I received my food and sat down to eat. Then, a Caucasian women with black hair, about 5'4" started to stack chairs around me.
